Anyways, we headed over to California Bike & Snowboard and the difference was crazy. We were greeted, and they were busy. The person took time to greet everyone, though they were short staffed. They took time to answer all of our questions. Grabbed the house bike helmet and had my wife take a test ride right away. The iron horse trail is right behind their shop. After repeated attempts to rectify it, I decided that I would never go back there again. When my service on my bike was due again, I was really in a tough place. I decided to go to the next nearest Trek location to my work, only to find out that it was being managed by the same person. I reluctantly went anyway, only to find out that they were closed on Mondays. I looked for the next closest location and that was Alamo and everything changed for the better. I went in, told them the problem that I previously had. They suggested I reach out to Trek Warranty and that the two of them, the Trek corporate along with the Alamo store, would make things right. I was hopeful but not convinced. 48 hours later, full resolution of my issue, and my bike came back to me after the level two service, better than when I originally bought it. This is a fantastic store. I know that their clients are difficult to say the least but these guys meet the challenge and exceed expectations. I cannot recommend this store enough.

It was definitely frustrating, but Abraham took my concerns seriously from the beginning. He personally reached out, apologized, offered to restring my racquet free of charge, and even provided a gift card for the inconvenience. What impressed me the most was that he didn't just fix my racquet--he worked to improve the process. When I picked it up today, I noticed they now attach a label showing the string type, tension, date, and stringer. That tells me they're focused on preventing mistakes in the future, not just fixing one complaint. Every business can make mistakes, but not every manager takes ownership the way Abraham did. Bernadette is the first women fitter that I have had the pleasure to work with. Mini drivers usually come in standard lengths but she made it much shorter to accommodate my swing. She also fit me for irons. I hit them for a few rounds and I went back to see her to check my swing. Told her my shots were going right so she made the iron a bit upright.
