Didn't have to wait in line to buy popcorn, pretzel and a bottle of Dasani water. Wow, that pretzel was huge! Seats were comfortable and the movie: Fall 2 was good. We were going to hang out at the casino for a bit after the movie, but decided to do a little shopping before heading back to our hotel. We would definitely come back again when we're in town.

I love Captain Ken who checks your ticket prior to being seated in your theater, he has been there since the place opened 20+ years. I always love to have a quick chat with him and I give him my quick review of the movie as I leave. Today I had the whole theater to myself! It was absolutely heavenly!!! Not a good look and that tells you what to expect later in the day as well. 2) Busted, old, uncomfortable seats that do not recline. Very uncomfortable after three hours. 3) They never turned off the overhead lights!! What in the world? That deserves a refund on the spot. 4) The sound was ridiculously loud. Yes, I expect the sound to be loud in IMAX but turning the volume up to 11 doesn't mask the fact that you're using older technology. 5) This is not the fault of the theater, but we had a terrible audience. If you need someone to explain the movie to you, blow by blow, maybe read up ahead of time and come back later. Constantly being on your phone. This was an easy casino to access both from downtown Carson City and it was easy to get back on the main highway. While all of the Reno/Carson City casinos seemed pretty similar to me, I appreciated this one due to the non-smoking area. During my four days in the area, I experienced many casinos, and I couldn't get away from the smoke smell in most of them. In this casino, there is a well-ventilated non-smoking area just to the right side of the front door. I popped in there and would have felt comfortable for a good period of time without being bothered by smoke. For those who enjoy gambling and may be affected by smoke, I highly recommend that you visit Fandango and see if you enjoy the experience as much as I did.

The location of the theater is super convenient in the Heavenly shoppes location and you could park in the parking lot across the street for 2 hours. We didn't purchase any food at the theater since we just had a late lunch. No outside food is allowed.
