I love this venue so much! Every year I'm excited to hear about the line up and think they are doing a great job getting food artists to Minden. I do wish they would branch out to other genre's. We saw Aaron Lewis this year and he was fantastic!

This is a great outdoor venue with some very reasonable prices for drinks. Grass to sit on. Could use a few more bathrooms though.

I recently attended my niece's wedding here. The venue itself is gorgeous! The area that was set up…read morefor the ceremony on the grass was very pretty and shaded from the heat. The barn where the reception was held is simply beautiful. The things I really did not like however, were the restroom situation and the ROCKS. The restrooms were in a trailer that is not handicap accessible whatsoever. There were several guests who were using walkers and I imagine they either had a difficult time accessing the restrooms or could not access them at all due to the stairs that needed to be climbed. I don't use a medical device to get around but my disability did make using the restrooms very inconvenient. I also wore very small heels (one inch pumps), and had a TERRIBLE time walking around through the rocky ground between the barn and the restrooms. The rocks are very sharp and tore up the heels of my shoes a little bit as well. I understand the rocks are likely there to cut down on the dust since this is a working farm, but I think switching out the current rocks to pea gravel or a crushed stone would make traversing the area easier for everyone. I'd also recommend clear signage from the parking area to the ceremony/reception areas. Like I mentioned, the venue is beautiful, just keep in mind that anyone with mobility issues or heels will have a difficult time moving around.

Chad, Michelle (owners), and Denise (wedding coordinator) were the best! They communicated very well, were so accommodating and did not say no to any of our requests (all within reason). The communication back and forth was timely and never did we feel as though we were just another customer. They made everyone involved including an additional coordinator, feel like family. Make Jacobs Berry Farm your choice! A perfect venue to make lasting memories!

Great place to play slots. You'll find a variety of slots and plenty of the latest and most popular…read moremachines currently out there. They have fresh coffee 24/7, a soda machine and hot water and tea bags for those who prefer to drink tea. And, of course, they have a full bar for those who want alcohol. If they served food, this would be a perfect place to visit. That's the only thing they are missing (and I don't recommend buying your food from the bakery next door...read that review before you buy anything from them.) Even if they had a simple hot dog cart for game days in the sports book, that would be enough. William Hill has a sports book inside with plenty of big tvs to watch most live sports. The only sport they don't carry is horse racing (which is a major disappointment). However, they will carry horse racing on big racing days, such as the Kentucky Derby, but keep mind they are NOT parimutuel. That means they won't pay you full track odds, so if you bet a Pick 6 and it hits for $500,000, they won't pay you the full amount. Instead, they'll pay you something like 300to1 based on your amount wagered AND use a hard cap of a maximum $5,000 payout for any bet made. For casual horse players who only bet Win/Place/Show, you're probably okay placing wagers on horse racing here when they carry it. Otherwise, true horse bettors need to find a parimutuel book (such as CVI, Atlantis, Peppermill or Caesar's Republic - always ask the teller if they are a true parimutuel before you place a horse racing wager). On the plus side, they have kiosks for placing bets if you don't wish to place your bet through a teller (like me).

I decided to try it again today, hoping that, they would have changed. Unfortunately, no change. I always play the same machine. I arrived at 12:50 PM. The casino is usually pretty empty, and now I know why! There are NO cocktail waitresses. You're depending on the bartender to see you and realize that you are there. Sometimes there two bartenders. They do not walk around to check on customers. This one bar tender (picture posted) was talking to someone for over 30 minutes, not paying any attention to any other customers. I can see the bar from where I'm playing. After waiting 40 minutes, I took a chance, leaving my purse on my chair, to go to the bar. I told the bartender where it was sitting, that I had been sitting there for 40 minutes, and could I please have a Chardonnay. She eventually brought it to me. The other problem . . . The whole place smells like Pine-Sol cleaner. Workers are continuously cleaning when there's really no customers. If they had someone paying attention to the customers playing, maybe COD's business would do a lot better. I will not go back! I will bring my money elsewhere!

Basically our room was two rooms that have been converted into a suite that has a kitchen, little dining island, living room, and a separate bedroom and bathroom. It has two doors to enter, so a little weird but honestly, super practical. The rooms were very quiet and I couldn't hear any noise from any neighbors. The shower was great and the water stayed super hot through both of our showers. The room was spacious and clean (though the floor could have been swept/mopped better imo). The first night we were there, someone got sick in the parking lot. I called the operator and explained the situation and asked if they had anyone to clean it up as it wasn't exactly what anyone wants to see and to my surprise they immediately sent someone out who was able to clean up that spot! Thank you!! The casino is small, but had some good games. Overall, I'd stay here again.

Rooms were great - temperature controlled well, very clean and modern looking. Only negatives were housekeeping knocked twice to clean our room on our check-out day, and gave a lil sass when we weren't ready. And access from hotel room to street/walkable restaurants (which there were plenty!) was tough. There was no back entrance so it was a good 5 min walk to leave the building. I will definitely come back though, it had everything I needed! And the slots treated me well :))
