I've been here twice now and both times it was a positive experience. The theater itself was clean both times, and that is already a big improvement over the last Reno movie theater we visited a few weeks back. The seats are comfortable and the projection and sound were both very good. And finally, big props to the other patrons for being a respectful audience. That's such a rarity these days that it's noteworthy. It's still one of my favorite experiences to see an emotionally intelligent and moving story on film and feel the shared experience with other audience members. We will be back. Oh, and if you get a chance I highly recommend seeing "Hamnet" on the big screen. It's my favorite film of the year. read more

It had been close to ten years since I stepped foot into an actual movie theater. I really felt like a hayseed visiting downtown NYC for the first time. Once inside, I immediately noticed an arcade. My group was in a hurry so I didn't have time to figure out if the games were coin operated but I think not. Gone were the old concession counters with Milk Dud and Juju's. Instead, it resembled more of a really clean Circle K which served alcohol. Since it was morning we left the canned drinks, beer and wine for another day. Once inside the actual theater I found electronically operated reclining chairs. The movie was meh so, yes, I ended up falling asleep and catching a few z's. It was great! read more

We love this theater. They have the best hotdogs! Although, I do bring my own condiments like dill relish and jalapenos. The prices are a bit high, but I save 20% by being a club member. The place is always clean and the staff really friendly. We like to see the earlier shows so not too crowded. We go at least once a month. read more

It's been a while but we found ourselves watching a film (Predator: Badlands) at the Century Summit Sierra yesterday afternoon. When we arrived at the Summit mall, it was nearly impossible to find a parking space near the theater, the parking lot was so crowded. Ironically enough, the theater wasn't; as usual we pre-purchased our tickets through their app so that we can easily bypass the ticket agent stage and head straight for the concession stand. The concession was busy but the staff did a marvelous job filling orders and ringing up purchases, the concession line moved smoothly through with a minimal amount of waiting. The only disappointment was the theater took away the melted butter dispenser where condiments were; that's my favorite part of the concession-- putting more butter on my popcorn. We went to auditorium 16 and another request I have for management is to please the swivel tables just like the Century Parklane 16 theater have; those tray tables are so convenient. The film was great, we thoroughly enjoyed watching it even with our seats being at the 2nd row in front of the screen because of their nice reclining chairs; so, overall, we has a lovely movie-going experience. read more

We went to see wicked. I wasn't sure how I would like the moving and I was pleasantly surprised. The theater is upbeat, clean and big. The seats were huge and you can get service right to your seat. It's easy to get in and out of those seats Friendly staff and a happy environment- you gotta get the big bucket of popcorn. So fresh and sooo good . read more

Maybe I'm just used to clean theaters 15 years ago, but I don't know what happened to taking pride in where you work regardless what your job is. If a business is understaffed to save money, they shouldn't be open. If they have more than enough staff, why aren't the employers taking pride in their job. Is it a management issue? A generational issue? 1. To show up to a movie starting at 1030 am and the doors don't open till 1015 is well different, but would expect them to open at a minimum 30 minutes early especially when is 28 degrees outside 2. The cleanliness of a theater that JUST opened was worse than a new Marines barracks room after a 4 day weekend. Not a very "clean" environment. 3. There are two things that we especially love about this movie theater: 1) the comfortable luxury reclining seats and 2) the $6 movie tickets all day every Tuesday. There are other things to like about this particular Cinemark, like the ease of parking and the availability of shops and restaurants since this is located in an open-air mall. It's not the closest location to where we live but it's worth the effort to drive down there to see a movie. read more

Pleasantly surprised movie ticket prices haven't gone up in awhile. But 9.75 for adult and 9.25 for child matinee 50 cents difference lol. Looks like regular show te after 6 pm 11.50$ The small popcorn was 6.66$ though - eyebrow lift - haha it was very much enough for myself and 9 year old. This is our go to theater but we only come every 4-6 months, saw Mario Bros today but we like this theater because of its proximity to home and good easy parking lot. The theater overall seemed clean however those pesky hard to clean drink holders were NOT. Ew lol. Loss of a star. read more

Has the old style interior many older movie goers are familiar with and hits that nostalgia feeling hard. The theaters themselves are more modern and have reclining pleather seating with cup holders. The popcorn has that classic movie theater taste and it's a fairly comfortable feel all across the board. Has a small arcade to boot. read more

Enjoyed a couple of movies recently. The comfy chairs and nearby dining make this theater a perfect choice for us. However, the theaters are pretty dirty and trying to do our part to be clean guests we took our trash out with us and there was nowhere to put it. I can Honestly say i enjoy this Theater very much . Seats are massive and comfortable. They recline very nicely. I have never been when super crowded. I love using the app and being able to order tickets online and having assigned seats is just so easy . It's convenient and very close to my house and have seen a decent amount of movies here on either opening nights or a week or so later and has been great. No complaints. This is my favorite theater in Reno with it's recliner lounge seats, a decent selection of snacks and clean auditoriums with excellent sound. But I have a big question for the manager. Last night we watched the amazing film "Origin" based on the NYTIMES best selling book "Caste: The origins of our discontents" by the Pulitzer Prize winning author Isabel Wilkerson. This one night only screening was not advertised on the Cinemark website, in fact the theatre employees didn't even know it would be playing until that day. Luckily a friend told me it was coming so I purchased tickets a week prior. Only eleven people were at the screening, seven of which were myself and friends. We went on a busy day as tickets were $4 throughout the day. The movie we chose was worth $4 (take that as you may), but the seating was good with the reclining seats. Being able to have a beer is a good thing depending on the movie (make sure it's not a 3 hour long one). The reclining seats are not only comfortable, they are wide enough where you feel you have enough space. No fighting over the arm rest like in an airplane. It's take us awhile to get back to going to the theaters, but the experience is worth at the Summit is worth it. read more

This theater needs a wake-up call. The cuts are noticeable. If we're paying high prices for a movie/concessions, don't provide a sub-standard experience. Cheap receipt-style tickets, Movie time boards 1/2 off, theater corridor boards off permanently, paper theater number signs (instead of using theater #/movie name signs), sticky floors where tiled, understaffing with 1 person at the registers also responsible for ticket tear/checks and hearing theater cleaning personnel were limited to just 2 people last Saturday. You're doing decent business for the summer season but, as you continue make the experience feel like a budget theater, while charging premium prices, you get folks like me considering Galaxy alternatives. If you're going to forfeit this space, as well (like you did the Riverside space), get it on with it so we can get another operator in the space. read more

We wanted to see Raiders of the Lost Ark in recliners and this was the last theater that met the criteria. (Movie a few weeks old). Booked our comfy seats, and drove to Summit. (We live in Carson, but Summit is still pretty close). I was amazed that the tickets were 1/3 less expensive than our local theatre! Imagine my surprise when I realized the concessions were easily HALF the price of our local theater!!!! Omg! 8$ for a tub of popcorn!!! I got large 2 tubs, 2 large drinks, and candy for $35! And a huge beer was cheap too! Oh, and they have a butter dispenser for the patrons, just in case the workers short you. I noticed my hubby plugging his ears during the show. It was really loud during the action scenes. I asked if they could lower the volume and the manager happily obliged. Just right. If you join their movie club for $10.99, you get a free ticket, 20% the already cheaper concessions, and waived online booking fees. Looks like we have a new favorite movie venue!!!! read more

Better yet how about a Private Watch Party in a theater all to ourselves...that's right Century Summit Sierra now offer for up to 20 people different movie titles the ENTIRE theater for you, your family & friends - woohooo!! We were EXCITED to celebrate a birthday by watching Monty Python Holy Grail with 20 of us in our veryy own theater!! Talk about easy breezy as we arrived at Century Summit we let the usher at the door know that we were there for the name of the birthday Private Watch Party as our name was on the list. We met up with the rest of our group to say our hellos, wish happy birthday and then made our way over to the concession stand. The staff at Century Summit was friendly, kind and helpful as we made our selections at the concession stand. They had the various selections from popcorn, candy, ice cream, soda, H2O, churros, pretzel w/cheese, pizza, Icees...well you get the idea (insert snack overload emoji anddd this gal is happyyy) Seats inside the theater we recliners, roomy and comfy - woo-hoo!! This gal was feeling like she was curled up at home for a movie night on her couch with her hubby and settled in with snacky snacks over-abundance to enjoy the Holy Grail of Monty Python with the fambam birthday celebration - LET'S DO THIS!! We thoroughly enjoyed our evening out!! Would definitely do another Private Watch Party again with the ticket price at $99 to $149 for 20 peeps depending on which movie you choose being an AWESOME way to experience the movie theater outing with fambam & friends! Century Summit for us, we have been treated by the staff as I said above friendly, kind and helpful...we did notice on our way out of the theater that the trash was overflowing and had to bring ours out of the theater - not a huge deal. For me I am one of those peeps that ALWAYS carry my stuff out after the movie is over, so maybe have the trash ONLY on the outside of the theater instead of inside...just my thought for today so that it is not overflowing. Movie prices are what they are. So this is off service and cleanliness. Theaters and rest rooms are 8/10. Service is normally pretty good unless there was a mistake made on there end. Then it goes south quick. Just very little accountability from the team. Arcade is just so so, it's ok to waist some time in before the movie. read more

So I really like the upgraded theater experience. But I hate the change in advertisements. I mean you pay $10 for a seat and arrive a little early to see the previews. And get stuck watching I enjoy the previews almost as much as the movie. 40 straight minutes of ads. The movie was scheduled for 6:15 and began at 6:39 If we want to arrive at movie time, we have to guarantee our seats online for a 'convenience' fee. Or arrive way early and waste and hour or two. So yeah, not gonna be going to the movies often now. Very comfortable, a bit pricey. I do like having a beer or two. But I really won't stand for the inundation of ads that are forced on my family. The main reason we like this movie theater is because it has luxury recliner seating. You can put your feet up and lean back almost like you are at home. The staff are friendly and helpful and the theaters are usually very clean. The areas that do need some attention are the restrooms. More frequent cleaning would help make the experience at this theater more pleasant. read more
