Movie theater in South Reno in the Summit shopping center near Trader Joe's & Apple. Recliner chairs that you pick when buying tickets. You can even have your snacks delivered for extra convenience.

Meet Santa sign outside the theater now

It's been a while but we found ourselves watching a film (Predator: Badlands) at the Century Summit Sierra yesterday afternoon. When we arrived at the Summit mall, it was nearly impossible to find a parking space near the theater, the parking lot was so crowded. Ironically enough, the theater wasn't; as usual we pre-purchased our tickets through their app so that we can easily bypass the ticket agent stage and head straight for the concession stand. The concession was busy but the staff did a marvelous job filling orders and ringing up purchases, the concession line moved smoothly through with a minimal amount of waiting. The only disappointment was the theater took away the melted butter dispenser where condiments were; that's my favorite part of the concession-- putting more butter on my popcorn. We went to auditorium 16 and another request I have for management is to please the swivel tables just like the Century Parklane 16 theater have; those tray tables are so convenient. The film was great, we thoroughly enjoyed watching it even with our seats being at the 2nd row in front of the screen because of their nice reclining chairs; so, overall, we has a lovely movie-going experience.

We went to see wicked. I wasn't sure how I would like the moving and I was pleasantly surprised. The theater is upbeat, clean and big. The seats were huge and you can get service right to your seat. It's easy to get in and out of those seats Friendly staff and a happy environment- you gotta get the big bucket of popcorn. So fresh and sooo good .

Great movie night at Century at the Summit last night. I complained about the temperature inside the theater during our last few times, but all is good now.

Maybe I'm just used to clean theaters 15 years ago, but I don't know what happened to taking pride in where you work regardless what your job is. If a business is understaffed to save money, they shouldn't be open. If they have more than enough staff, why aren't the employers taking pride in their job. Is it a management issue? A generational issue? 1. To show up to a movie starting at 1030 am and the doors don't open till 1015 is well different, but would expect them to open at a minimum 30 minutes early especially when is 28 degrees outside 2. The cleanliness of a theater that JUST opened was worse than a new Marines barracks room after a 4 day weekend. Not a very "clean" environment. 3. Lack or bathroom supplies and cleanliness at 1030 am as well

There are two things that we especially love about this movie theater: 1) the comfortable luxury reclining seats and 2) the $6 movie tickets all day every Tuesday. There are other things to like about this particular Cinemark, like the ease of parking and the availability of shops and restaurants since this is located in an open-air mall. It's not the closest location to where we live but it's worth the effort to drive down there to see a movie.

Standard movie theater with lean back comfy chairs. Bought tickets on cinemark website prior to show and you just bring your QR code they scan. Super simple. Pleasantly surprised movie ticket prices haven't gone up in awhile. But 9.75 for adult and 9.25 for child matinee 50 cents difference lol. Looks like regular show te after 6 pm 11.50$ The small popcorn was 6.66$ though - eyebrow lift - haha it was very much enough for myself and 9 year old. This is our go to theater but we only come every 4-6 months, saw Mario Bros today but we like this theater because of its proximity to home and good easy parking lot. The theater overall seemed clean however those pesky hard to clean drink holders were NOT. Ew lol. Loss of a star.

Cinemark member.. and signed up for the email notifications.. Guy Ritchie's new move "The Covenant" coming out 4/20th.. Just purchased tickets and picked out seats!! Looking forward to the movie!

Has the old style interior many older movie goers are familiar with and hits that nostalgia feeling hard. The theaters themselves are more modern and have reclining pleather seating with cup holders. The popcorn has that classic movie theater taste and it's a fairly comfortable feel all across the board. Has a small arcade to boot.

Full bins all the way down the hall

Enjoyed a couple of movies recently. The comfy chairs and nearby dining make this theater a perfect choice for us. However, the theaters are pretty dirty and trying to do our part to be clean guests we took our trash out with us and there was nowhere to put it. Hoping for a cleaner visit next time, maybe we'll go to an earlier movie?

Ask the Community - Century Summit Sierra

Do they sell beer and wine?

Yes, they currently sell beer and wine. Beer selection is better than the wine selection. Beer is the more economical choice for the amount you get versus the wine.

You really feel like you are coming home when you step onto the property. Since moving my girl in, I have noticed that she is so calm and relaxed, and has honestly never been happier. There are many areas to ride, but my favorite remains the indoor arena. I look forward to being out of the cold and nasty weather this winter. The owners are very friendly and always ready to answer any questions you may have.  After Whisper's first night at the ranch, I received a message from the owners the following morning to let me know that she had settled in well. That alone proved to me that I had made the right decision by boarding at Corkscrew, as they care for my girl as much as I do.  Corkscrew also has 3 resident dogs that are total love bugs, so beware, you will want to take the cuties home with you.  I highly recommend anyone reading this to come out and see for yourself what a great place Corkscrew Ranch is! Update: I boarded here until recently and I am so happy I was able to. This is a truly amazing facility and Lowell and Shannon are amazing people with hearts of gold. When my horse got colic, these two had treated her like she was one of thier own. It took a few hours to get ahold of me, and in that time, they walked her for countless miles to help her condition. I could not be more thankful for these people or this ranch!

Hard earned money will be invested, years/months/days will be spent planning, and you will all blindly hand over your trust to strangers, in hopes that your expectations will be met and not overlooked. I understand your necessity to work with a group whom share this days' significance, to want what you want, and to feel genuine disappointment for any shortcomings, all because that day is as special to them as it is to you. If you agree with my opening, then trust me when I say, The Grove is NOT your venue. As someone who has attended weddings at the Red Hawk Golf and Resort, Reno-Sparks Convention Center, Reno Events Center, Boomtown, Peppermill, Atlantis, Silver Legacy, Lakeridge and so forth, The Grove has been my one and only disappointment. Move on to the next venue on your list or keep reading for details. Wedding Coordinator: If I could give no stars, I would. The 1 star that I did give belongs solely to Emily, and Emily alone. Emily was the coordinator for the day of my cousin's wedding. We had actually been working with another woman, Kristin, who ended her career with The Grove the same week of the wedding. Personally, I felt that Emily was very attentive and answered to anything I needed. Food: For how much you pay, the food is definitely not worth it. Guests complained about 3 things: the portions being very small, the food not tasting good, and the servers being rude. One guest compared the size of her slice of meat to no bigger than "two chicken nuggets". Everything was small, and it definitely seemed as if there was an effort to economize... or maximize profit in lieu of actually serving satisfactory food. The servers were also moving extremely slowly, replacing food in a relaxed manner with no urgency to meet the needs of a growing line. When my cousin approached the staff to start serving plates, she stated that they snapped at her to wait because they were not ready. They were definitely treated like... crap. Staff: The prior leads me to another disappointment. Many guests complained of feeling belittled by staff whom seemed to carry an "uppity" demeanor. The last thing you ever want is for your guests to take time out of their day, dress up and feel great, only to attend a wedding where they're being treated very inferior... for whatever reason. Please make sure that you're good enough for the staff at The Grove prior to planning your special day here. Venue: The venue itself is beautiful. Linens were provided as well as glassware. The wireless microphone (the only microphone from the Grove) apparently was having issues, so make sure that your DJ does provide one or two. If you're planning a wedding, one doubt is enough doubt. I think that it's absolutely amazing that this place worked out for many others; unfortunately for us, that just wasn't the case.
