Movie club member here. I've had many experiences at this Cinemark and every time I have come to this location, the staff have always been nice. I've even had a couple of times where the staff have went above and beyond in kindness as well. I had a ticket person tell me when a Marvel movie was going to be posted, I had a popcorn person enthusiastically put edible glitter on my popcorn, and I've had a cashier who made some jokes with us that made me smile. The theatre definitely was not the cleanest by all means at all there was crumbs all over the seats and cup holders and looked like there was something splattered all over the seats fortunately I had Clorox wipes to wipe down the seats we were sitting in. I've been here twice now and both times it was a positive experience. The theater itself was clean both times, and that is already a big improvement over the last Reno movie theater we visited a few weeks back. The seats are comfortable and the projection and sound were both very good. And finally, big props to the other patrons for being a respectful audience. That's such a rarity these days that it's noteworthy. It's still one of my favorite experiences to see an emotionally intelligent and moving story on film and feel the shared experience with other audience members. We will be back. Oh, and if you get a chance I highly recommend seeing "Hamnet" on the big screen. It's my favorite film of the year. read more

It had been close to ten years since I stepped foot into an actual movie theater. I really felt like a hayseed visiting downtown NYC for the first time. Once inside, I immediately noticed an arcade. My group was in a hurry so I didn't have time to figure out if the games were coin operated but I think not. Gone were the old concession counters with Milk Dud and Juju's. Instead, it resembled more of a really clean Circle K which served alcohol. Since it was morning we left the canned drinks, beer and wine for another day. Once inside the actual theater I found electronically operated reclining chairs. The movie was meh so, yes, I ended up falling asleep and catching a few z's. It was great! read more

We love this theater. They have the best hotdogs! Although, I do bring my own condiments like dill relish and jalapenos. The prices are a bit high, but I save 20% by being a club member. The place is always clean and the staff really friendly. We like to see the earlier shows so not too crowded. We go at least once a month. read more

Honestly I hate leaving a bad review, but I went to this place for a nice relaxing night and I was met with hostility and annoyance by the staff members. First I go up to check my tickets and the workers were very obviously annoyed and even the front desk lady rolled her eyes. Then we accidentally misplaced our tickets and the ladies was very rude about it and said no that they would not print another ticket which made us confused because now we didn't know which our seats were. We went to see wicked. I wasn't sure how I would like the moving and I was pleasantly surprised. The theater is upbeat, clean and big. The seats were huge and you can get service right to your seat. Awful experience. Everyone was extremely rude. Don't even try to come. They didn't let us in our theatre for a R movie. All of us were 17+ and showed our IDs. Just know, apparently you STILL need a legal adult. They also never gave us the money refund. We had to go through an exchange THREE times because of their incompetence, and no money for any of the three refunds. They told us since "we looked young" the managers would come in even with our photo ID proof they would still kick us out. Shame on them for ageism. Maquela was the most unprofessional out of everyone here. She was super rude and snarky asking for the IDs and even claimed they were faked. She also was making mocking noises of my sister who has a speech impediment. I don't know why because she looks like THAT, but whatever helps you feel less insecure I suppose. They're trashy, and they tried to make a scene over ME (who is 20) trying to use it. They also tried to claim I wasn't a "valid guardian" even though we are all over 17. Sorry I didn't get knocked up at the ripe age of 3 LOL. Take your business anywhere else. In fact, just fucking pirate the movie and watch it at a McDonald's because they would provide a better movie and customer service. look, im not a Karen nor do I usually have any unsavory opinions about this Century 21 location. matter of fact, I love this location and under different circumstances I would totally recommend to all! but tonight, during the Backrooms opening screening we had a distasteful experience with the woman I assume was the manager on duty "Nicole." after being denied entry due to a member of our group being under 17 we were more than understanding and happy to wait for our ticket refunds. my girlfriend and her sister went to go talk to this Nicole woman at the front desk and when I walked up they were just explaining that they didn't know about the age restriction and there was no insinuation of such when booking tickets online (image of proof attached) and she proceeded to bark at them continuously that "it's online" "it's on the website" when it clearly was not. immediately had to make a comment to her that no one was being argumentative or apprehensive since she was obscenely rude to both my girlfriend and her sister. we then had to wait multiple minutes to track down the apprehended ticket so I could receive my refund, during which Nicole was increasingly rude. I hope you're reading this Nicole, and I truly hope you have the opportunity to work on your customer service skills in the future. read more

There are two things that we especially love about this movie theater: 1) the comfortable luxury reclining seats and 2) the $6 movie tickets all day every Tuesday. There are other things to like about this particular Cinemark, like the ease of parking and the availability of shops and restaurants since this is located in an open-air mall. It's not the closest location to where we live but it's worth the effort to drive down there to see a movie. read more

Maybe I'm just used to clean theaters 15 years ago, but I don't know what happened to taking pride in where you work regardless what your job is. If a business is understaffed to save money, they shouldn't be open. If they have more than enough staff, why aren't the employers taking pride in their job. Is it a management issue? A generational issue? 1. To show up to a movie starting at 1030 am and the doors don't open till 1015 is well different, but would expect them to open at a minimum 30 minutes early especially when is 28 degrees outside 2. The cleanliness of a theater that JUST opened was worse than a new Marines barracks room after a 4 day weekend. Not a very "clean" environment. 3. Standard movie theater with lean back comfy chairs. Bought tickets on cinemark website prior to show and you just bring your QR code they scan. Super simple. Pleasantly surprised movie ticket prices haven't gone up in awhile. But 9.75 for adult and 9.25 for child matinee 50 cents difference lol. Looks like regular show te after 6 pm 11.50$ The small popcorn was 6.66$ though - eyebrow lift - haha it was very much enough for myself and 9 year old. This is our go to theater but we only come every 4-6 months, saw Mario Bros today but we like this theater because of its proximity to home and good easy parking lot. The theater overall seemed clean however those pesky hard to clean drink holders were NOT. Ew lol. Loss of a star. read more

Has the old style interior many older movie goers are familiar with and hits that nostalgia feeling hard. The theaters themselves are more modern and have reclining pleather seating with cup holders. Enjoyed a couple of movies recently. The comfy chairs and nearby dining make this theater a perfect choice for us. However, the theaters are pretty dirty and trying to do our part to be clean guests we took our trash out with us and there was nowhere to put it. I love using the app and being able to order tickets online and having assigned seats is just so easy . This is my favorite theater in Reno with it's recliner lounge seats, a decent selection of snacks and clean auditoriums with excellent sound. But I have a big question for the manager. Last night we watched the amazing film "Origin" based on the NYTIMES best selling book "Caste: The origins of our discontents" by the Pulitzer Prize winning author Isabel Wilkerson. This one night only screening was not advertised on the Cinemark website, in fact the theatre employees didn't even know it would be playing until that day. Luckily a friend told me it was coming so I purchased tickets a week prior. Only eleven people were at the screening, seven of which were myself and friends. We went on a busy day as tickets were $4 throughout the day. The movie we chose was worth $4 (take that as you may), but the seating was good with the reclining seats. Being able to have a beer is a good thing depending on the movie (make sure it's not a 3 hour long one). The reclining seats are not only comfortable, they are wide enough where you feel you have enough space. No fighting over the arm rest like in an airplane. It's take us awhile to get back to going to the theaters, but the experience is worth at the Summit is worth it. read more

We wanted to see Raiders of the Lost Ark in recliners and this was the last theater that met the criteria. (Movie a few weeks old). Booked our comfy seats, and drove to Summit. (We live in Carson, but Summit is still pretty close). I was amazed that the tickets were 1/3 less expensive than our local theatre! Imagine my surprise when I realized the concessions were easily HALF the price of our local theater!!!! Omg! 8$ for a tub of popcorn!!! I got large 2 tubs, 2 large drinks, and candy for $35! And a huge beer was cheap too! Oh, and they have a butter dispenser for the patrons, just in case the workers short you. I noticed my hubby plugging his ears during the show. It was really loud during the action scenes. I asked if they could lower the volume and the manager happily obliged. Just right. If you join their movie club for $10.99, you get a free ticket, 20% the already cheaper concessions, and waived online booking fees. Looks like we have a new favorite movie venue!!!! read more
