What a great surprise to find such a wonderful, fresh and delicious restaurant while we are traveling. Everything was wonderful from the appetizers, salads, main courses and desserts. The service, ambiance and personal touch of style was so warm and inviting. Loved the whole experience! The decor was inviting and beautiful. My group shared two appetizers, the Mac and cheese and the spinach artichoke dip, both delish. Then we each ordered an entree. We really enjoyed Carson's Bistro. It was first Friday and the wait staff seemed to be under extra pressure but did a very good job of getting us what we needed and checking on us. The grilled cheese and tomato soup was very yummy. The soup had a wonderful fresh taste and the cheeses in the sandwich melted well together. My husband loved his pot pie. We even took a piece of peanut butter pie to go because it looked so good. It was delicious! We went here for the first time tonight and had a great time! They have done a great job redecorating - the food was delicious - the wine was very good - and our waitress was super nice. They made a mistake on our order but promptly changed it. They gave us the mistake order to take home in a box and did not charge us. They came back at the end of the meal with a free dessert. Well we finally made our way to Carson Bistro Friday night. They were 3/4 full so no wait to be seated. It took 10 mins to place drink orders, another 10 mins to place our dinner order. Previous reviews mentioned the great Meatloaf as well as the StealHead Salmon, that made our decisions very easy. We then waited over an hour for our meal. We were almost done with our meal before the waitress checked to see if everything was ok. The salmon was cooked nicely & the meatloaf tasted fine but neither meals was worth the wait of over an hour. People arriving over 40 mins after us received their meals within 10 mins of our meal. They gave us excuses not apologies. My husband had intestinal problems the next morning which is very unusual for him. Needlessly we will not be going back. read more
