One word: TRAUMATIZED. I came to get a gel pedi and dip manicure while visiting family and it was by far the worst decision possible. Service: aggressively below average. Cindy did my nails, burned me 3 times moving too fast and sloppy, I told her if she hurt me again - I would consider going somewhere else. She then proceeded to do the fastest, sloppiest job I have ever experienced. Sanitation: nonexistent. Not only did Cindy take the acetone I was soaking my fingers in and add it to the jug where they get the acetone from (I watched her use a funnel to add it back into the jug) she also got HER OWN BLOOD ON ME SEVERAL TIMES. As previously mentioned, Cindy was moving fast and sloppy- ended up cutting herself and getting her blood on me 3 times. "How to go from 4 stars to 1 in less than a year" by Carson Nails. The accuracy of their work has slide quite a bit. They are fast, but they sacrifice quality. Not worth it in my opinion. It's hard to get a decent appointment time without waiting a week and walk-ins are pretty much non-existent. Even with an appointment, they are usually behind and you wait a half hour. A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!! I stopped by as a walk in to have my manicure and pedicure, and at the time a gentleman named Tony assisted with both. He did an amazing job and was very kind to me. After my pedicure I requested for just a regular manicure instead of gel polish. After my manicure was finished, I left the salon after 10 minutes with my nails still feeling a bit wet and tacky. When I arrived home I bumped my hand onto a surface and it damaged one of my nail polish. I called the salon back admitting it was my mistake that I asked for a regular polish and if it could be changed to gel polish instead, and requested Tony since he helped me earlier. I am attending a graduation for my niece and wanted all of my nails done, and I was willing to pay the cost in addition to the service earlier that was already paid for (plus tip). I was advised I could return but there would be a bit of a wait until Tony was available, which I did not mind at all and was willing to do so. When I arrived, Tony said he'll be with me shortly once he is finished with another customer, and I told him no worries and to take his time. While sitting at the front lobby for about 5 minutes, this very disgruntled, angry nail technician whom I have not met before nor waited on me earlier that morning, called me over to have a seat at Tony's station. She asked me in a very angry tone why I changed my mind. I calmly explained to her and apologized, then she continued to scold me very loudly saying "When you want gel, you should have asked for gel!!!" She was extremely aggressive while removing my nail polish whilst speaking very rude and derogatory about me in her asian language to the other nail technicians. That was when Cindy, the salon owner stepped in and handled it from there. While Cindy was doing my nails, I noticed the two arguing and the disgruntled nail technician was still talking about me very loudly for everyone to hear. She spoke so loudly and aggressively, I sensed somehow it was about me. I asked Cindy if she was upset and Cindy nodded her head 'yes'. I got teary-eyed thinking I had done something very wrong. Cindy was very kind to me and told me to forget about it and not to worry about it, then motioned with her hand that this woman is quite a talker. I left the salon in tears. What I experienced was beyond unacceptable and was treated horribly by this rude nail technician with her very unprofessional behavior and bad conduct. I was berated, maligned, and humiliated in front of not only her coworkers but also in front of other customers. Since she often speaks her foreign language, it seems she gossips about her customers right in their faces, and I myself witnessed it first hand! Bottom line is, they still got paid and I even paid the additional charge. But the fact that this very rude and hostile woman is STILL employed at that salon is why I will NEVER step foot there again, and will NOT recommend that place to friends and family!!! read more

If I could give a minus 5 I would!! Took my 83 year old mother for a full set of nails. The tech she got was extremely rude!!! When I called her out on the behavior, she just glared and shrugged me off. I asked the manager if someone else could finish the service. Manager backed up the rude tech. My mother left upset and unhappy with the work. The tech did do anything that was asked of her. My mother refilled her nails when she got home. She wanted them shorter and round. The tech left them long and filed them into a point. If I had this woman's name, I'd share it here. Of course, she did not get one penny for a tip!!! She was also rude to me when I was paying her bill. Big mistake. When she saw $0 tip, she had the nerve to go up to her colleagues and complain about it while pointing at us. I walked over to her station and told her this what you get when you disrespect my mother. $0 There are a couple of nice techs in this salon. Do not go here! Such a waste of money. I was finally able to treat my daughter and I to a self care day. I paid $135 for 2 gel manicure and pedicures. The lady Vicky - did not even pretend to make an effort on my nails. This was the fastest pedi and mani ever. No massage no effort nothing. My nails aren't even filed down the same sizes. My gel manicure had gel polish all over my skin. I asked Vicky she said I need to just pick it off. 24 hours later (pic 2) gel polish is lifting and peeling off. My dollar tree polish lasts weeks!!!! I went in there today for my 11am appointment with Kim. Mind you I've been going to Kim for years. Following her from salon to salon. Unbeknownst to me, Kim wasn't there and Vicki was to do my nails. Vicki is rude, she is careless and unethical. She gave me a 20 minute acrylic fill which she didn't even do properly. Missing several steps. Then she proceeded to tell me she couldn't give me a pedicure when I told her I had an appointment booked for a fill and a pedicure. I went to check out and one of the other ladies told her to give me a pedicure and Vicki was upset about it. She filled the bowl with cold water, scraped my heels and destroyed the cuticles on my big toes. She didn't even clip my other nails and then she proceeded to give me a quick 15 minute pedicure with no polish. Charged me $60. I will never go back. Had I known Kim wasn't going to be there, I would have cancelled and rescheduled. read more

Not a great experience. My nails are pointing upward and the gel polish has bubbles on them because the lady rushed. The owner was rating down my tech's neck as she was working on my nails making snide comments and having everyone laugh at me for being indesive about my color. I went with my friend and she ended up talking bad about me to my friend, even knowing we were there together. Not a good atmosphere, bad nail job, will need to go to another salon to fix the mess she made on my nails and skin. Oh yeah the tech also got a bunch of the powder glue on my skin and never took it off or wiped so it dried on me and she told me to leave with it all over my hands. read more

Do yourself a favor and do not go here. Yes, it is cheap but you get what you pay for. The most shocking thing is that the REUSE TOOLS. The nail tech took a tool that she used on her previous client and used it on me for my manicure while there was a bunch of dead skin left over from the previous person (can you say health inspection?!) they also re use the pumice stones for pedicures without the necessary disinfecting procedures. All of this, and they still did not do a good job painting my nails. 0/10 will not recommend to a friend. Save yourself the headache and health risk and go somewhere else. read more

AVOID! I had read the horrible reviews about this place, but when I saw it was under new ownership, I decided to give it a try. A big mistake. The place is old and dirty. The chairs for the pedis are awful and need to be replaced. The woman doing my pedi did a great job getting all the gross off my heels and nail cuticles. Which is the ONLY reason I'm giving it two stars. The polish job itself was horrible. My 7 year old can do a better job. There was polish all over my skin. I had to ask her to fix it. She assumed it was fine! It was not fine. It looks awful. And....her mask was falling off her face the whole time. She actually PICKED HER NOSE and then stuck her finger in the water and started to massage my legs!!! I was horrified! The whole thing was $45 for the gel and extra heel buffing. Not worth it at all. This place deserves zero stars, I just came out of there SO DISAPPOINTED & ANGRY, I got an eyelash extensions, and that was the worst part of this horror story, Vivian Nguyen, the woman that did my eyelashes burned my eyeball in such way that I was screaming in pain like if I was in a torture room, I was literally crying of pain. There is nothing professional in the work that she did to me, 50 dollars for a set of eyelashes that I can find in 99 cents store was not what I was expecting but the worst part of my experience was the fact that I fear for my eye, I thought I was going to go blind, God knows what chemical she put on my skin, I was literally crying and screaming in pain, that was a nightmare and Vivian was not gentle at all. I tried to complaint with the guy that look like the manager but it was nearly impossible to communicate with him...he doesn't know English, I ended up paying for a horrible and disgusting service, they didn't even care if I was angry with what they did. My eyelashes look like crap and I am embarrassed to go outside because it looks totally horrible. Besides that... I had a pedicure done, 25 dollars for a 10 minutes pedicure, they didn't even clean the nail polish that was all around my toes, for a pedicure like that I would've done a better job by myself at home. I have been going to the salon for about a year now. I loved it until my last two visits I have been using Kathy she does a great job . but I got an infection in my thumb nail. It was red I showed Kathy she said I probably hit it on something. So she did my nails and within two days my whole thumb was twice the size ! Then my nail started turning green . soaked it for few days then the pus started coming out from under the nail a couple of weeks later my nail started going soft and lifting up from my thumb! Had appointments for last day of school celebration. My daughter. And 2 granddaughters. We were all disappointed. Not friendly. The salon was very dirty and messy. Mine already are chipping. Didn't even clean up the polish left on my skin. Seemed mad that I didn't go for the deluxe. My water was cold even after asking them to turn it up. Massage was non existent.
