Polish Me Pretty is my go to place for pretty fingers and toes! I started following Theresa on Social Media when she first opened her NEW shop when I was looking to switch to someone new and I am thankful I found her! She makes me relaxed while pampering my fingers along with my feet & toes during my pedicure making sure that they're absolutely gorgeous EVERY TIME!! I ALWAYS enjoy my time with Theresa it's like sitting with a long-time girlfriend letting go of the day by laughing, relaxing and chatting about our day or recent adventures while listening to cool tunes in the background. She's friendly, helpful, professional and talk about talented - I can bring in a picture or have an idea of color or design, she will then come up with something that is truly AMAZING! Absolutely had the best time getting a manicure and pedicure! There is plenty of parking in front of the shop, and for my first time I got a little lost trying to find which door to enter for my appointment, but the ladies were very helpful! There is also a map for the different businesses in the building, so that was helpful as well! Of course, nails can get expensive, but these were worth it because they turned out so great!! Would absolutely recommend Theresa for full set acrylic! read more

Simply disaster. I came in for gel manicure and I wish I would wait till I am back home to San Jose to get my nails done there. The lady who was doing the manicure to me didn't remove my old one properly and this is how it looks like! She barely touched my cuticles and the tools were not sanitized. I don't recommend this place to anyone. It's just waste of time and money I have to spend now another 1 hour and $25 to get them fixed. read more

I made a 3pm nail appointment w Waleska... the nail tech messaged me the morning of stating she had a 10:30am open. I let her know I wouldn't be off work until 2/230ish. Later in the day she said she would be available a little earlier and I was welcome to come at 230pm, if I like. I said ok great. I arrive to my 3pm appointment 10 minutes early at 2:50pm and she told me she canceled my appointment because I didn't come in earlier. I drove from south reno to get my nails done here since they had an opening at the day and time I needed. I have a wedding to attend tomorrow. And really needed my nails done. Now my chances of getting them done this evening are Huge disappointment. read more

Theresa is amazing however the rest of the staff is lacking unfortunately. I used to go here every 2 weeks however because of life I hadn't. I called on a Thursday and my phone calls went unanswered. I finally got a hold of someone that simply said "hello" in a disgruntled voice. Just hello. Nothing else. I asked if there were any openings that day or Friday and was told "no". That's it. No offer to book ahead. I should have stopped there but I decided not I try booking online. There was openings for Kassandra so you scheduled a mani and pedi for Saturday but never receive a confirmation. I called to inquire about my appointment and the same short disgruntled voice said she didn't work there. What the hell? I was passed off and scheduled for the 9th at 10 and I stated for the mani I did not want gel or nail polish. Just the mani. I received a text later in saying my appt was at 9-11:15 I was the idiot that thought "well their online stuff is messed up so I'll stick with 10". Considering they don't open until 10 and no painting was involved, I'd say this isn't a crazy assumption. I showed up shortly before 10 and was told the technician would not take me and my appt was at 9. I brought up the fact they are not open until 10 and there wasn't paint involved so how could it take so long? I'll never go here again and recommend to stay away. The owner is wonderful but sadly her staff is going to sink her business. read more

Terrible service, probably good nails based on other reviews. The owner is rude to new customers and her daughter seems incompetent when making reservations. I was told the soonest appointment here would be a month in advance but I went ahead and made it, when I got to the salon I was told that my appointment had been booked over by a regular customer because the owners daughter wrote my number down wrong (even though we confirmed the number when I made the res) and they thought I wasn't real. I drove an hour and a half to get to this salon and was recommended from there to a small sketchy shop above a liquor store. Definitely not trying this place a third time I'd recommend going to klarissas spa and nails instead. read more

Great nail salon. Theresa is great, very pleasant personality, and does a fabulous job. I am always happy with my pedicures, and she has helped my ingrown toenails. She is always very busy, so appointments are critical. After having negative experiences at two other Carson City nail salons, I can't imagine going anywhere else. read more

I had a confirmed appointment at 1:30pm and arrived to find Theresa still doing another clients nails. I waited and waited and after 35 minutes I left. A business does not book appointments where clients have to sit and wait more than 5 minutes without explanation. It's unprofessional and it's no way to run a business.
