I recently had work done by CarSmart Vehicle Improvement Specialists, I purchase and install a real truck BAKFlip MX4 (Gen 3) on my GMC Sierra, and the entire experience was excellent. Collin, the Accessories Manager, was extremely knowledgeable and made the process easy from start to finish. He offered a very competitive price, registered my warranty, and even helped me with the manufacturer rebate, something you don't see everywhere. Noah did a fantastic job with the installation. He took his time explaining all the features and made sure everything was working perfectly. I also had the chance to meet the owner, Tom Nemec, who was very welcoming. He shared more about their other services like ceramic coating and undercarriage protection, and mentioned that CarSmart has been in business for over 60 years, which says a lot about their reputation and quality. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with the product, the installation, and the customer service. I would highly recommend Car Smart to anyone looking to upgrade or protect their vehicle. read more

This will be redundant but Tom (owner) is the best! I had some work done on a car of mine and it turned out to be my error. Instead of pushing it off to go to another place, which would have been well within his right, he was insistent I bring it by to look at it free of charge. He definitely puts his customers first. Very rare nowadays! read more

I wish I could give this business more stars! Their customer service is remarkable and their workmanship is spot on. We recently had a remote start installed on our pickup. Jeremy assisted us in selecting the best option. The work was completed on time, professionally, and the owner, Tom, took all the time needed for us to understand the workings of the new technology. I experienced the same level of professionalism when I brought my Corvette in for detailing two years ago. Look no further; for best prices and quality work, visit CarSmart in Mokena! read more

Great job again, last year when we purchased our car I looked for a good place to have it paint sealed. When I called Tom, the owner, told me how it worked. It was not only reasonable compared to the dealership but also had an annual "tune up" available. When I brought it in they did a great job! Fast forward eight months, my wife comes home with a major door ding. I call Tom and he said to bring it in and they will take a look. He looked at it and even though it was close to the door edge he thought they could get it out and touch it up. They would also reapply the paint seal after doing a full check of the car. Picked it up last night and it was amazing. Looked like a new car again and can't tell there was a door ding. I can't recommend Car Smart and there staff high enough. Great delivery on their promises! read more

Tom was very friendly and knowledgeable. I had my husbands Ford truck Rhino liner installed here and then decided to tint the driver side and passenger windows. Wow - 5 stars is an underrating . Had my wife's 01 Altima detailed from bumper bumper including engine. The final results truly exceeded my expectations. I take my car here every year to be detailed and I'm always happy with the results. Tom is always professional and walks me through everything he has done. I've previously had them get out some dings and scratches. My 2017 Explorer looks brand new! I highly recommend Car Smart. read more

I was referred to CarSmart for assistance with a tinted windows issue and a problem with the rear window shade. I called them on a Saturday afternoon and received a quick return call from Tom (Owner). I explained my issue and he said that he would take a look and give me a quote. I didn't realize that they also did scratch and dent repair (I have had some bad luck with the side of my garage lately). They were extremely accommodating and did an excellent job with my car. I then brought in my other card (similar garage incident). They quickly fixed that unsightly scratch. I asked to have my car detailed and they did an excellent job. It is has some years on it and they made it look brand new. I store this car for the winter, and cannot wait to get it out on the road. It looks great!! read more

Had a Rhino Bed Liner sprayed in my 2019 Silverado. Easy to work with for the first phone call to the final product. Dropped my truck off the day before, got a phone call as soon as it was done the next day about 3pm. No over spray on the truck bed looks amazing. The whole process was explained, preparation the bed, sanding opening up the drain holes. To the amount sprayed on the floor and side walls. Experience was Great. I would recommend them for all your car needs. read more

Needed rear window replaced after it shattered out. They were able to get the glass within 24 hours and offered to keep my vehicle indoors overnight. Price wise they were middle of the road, not the best or worst price but the service was more than worth it. When I picked up the vehicle the owner took me around his shop outlining all that they do and was extremely informative about the work that was done to my vehicle. I will use them again when needed. read more

Wow! Super professional. Fantastic work. Every time I spoke to one of these guys I learned something and realized how experienced and knowledgeable they are. I am very happy with the service that I received. read more

I brought my Lexus RX 350 here to get detailed for the first time. Considering I am very picky with my SUV I was a little concerned being first time client. If you want an excellent professional detail job -- "BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE" you will not be disappointed. Tom is so nice and very professional. Explained in detail the entire process. My SUV looked amazing when I picked it up. My 2nd visit was advice on how to fix my leather seat. I used a product that took the finish off. To my surprise-- Tom was able to fix this - looks perfect and didn't charge me! Would definitely recommend Car Smart! read more

Had a really great experience getting a rhino bedliner installed on my new 2018 Colorado. The owner, Tom, takes the time to explain everything, and I have to say, is incredibly knowledgeable. He was respectful, professional, and more importantly, they did a great job on my truck. It's never easy trusting somebody with personal property that you spent a lot of money on, but Tom at Carsmart is somebody you can trust. I'm really happy with the whole experience and overall service, and I will definitely be taking my truck and family van back to this place whenever I need work done. read more

Great work and great service. I needed some fog lights installed in my car and couldn't find anyone to do such a small job. I was very pleased with the service from Car Smart. I was referred to Tom to help fix some scratches and paint issues on my car (as well as help with some dents). Throughout the whole process he was kind, professional, and communicative. I would highly recommend them! read more

I hit a dear with my car (2013 Chevy Traverse) back in November. There was substantial damage to it. I brought it to Crash Champions in New Lenox. I noticed in the spring when I was washing it, marks all over it, that looked like plastic. I tried to get them off with wax but they didn't come off. I brought the car to CarSmart and talked to Tom Nemec. He said that the marks were probably from whatever Crash Champions used to mask the car off when they were spraying the paint on it. He brought out some sort of compound to see if it would take the marks off and it did. He told me that they were very busy and that it would be a few weeks until they could get to it. I said no problem as the car sits in the garage since I have a service truck through the company I work for. I brought the car back to them when they called me back. It took them a couple of days but when I got the car back it looked fantastic! They got all of the marks off and waxed and buffed the car. It looks fabulous! I will definitely be bringing cars back to them for them to work on. read more

I had a remote start installed at CarSmart a couple of years ago. I remembered the owner teaching me how to operate the remote start, he was patient and very kind during the process. So when my husband had mentioned he wanted a hitch installed on our car I decided to go to CarSmart and get a gift certificate for Father's Day. I was greeted by the owner Tom. He was once again just as I remembered, very helpful, honest with no pressure at all. We had an amazing conversation and I will recommend this business to everyone I speak to. Thank you Tom for being not only a great person but an honest dependable businessman. read more

Had my car detailed here and they did a fantastic job. No complaints at all.

Tom and crew detailed our 2016 MKZ and did such a thorough job that it looks BRAND NEW. They did a wonderful job on the interior, exterior - they even cleaned the engine!! My car was looking sad before but now could be in a new car showroom! Great job! read more

They did a nice job on my remote start but these guys do not have the best customer service skills. They are terrible at returning calls even after multiple voicemails. Its difficult to reach them for follow up questions after service and they always seem 'too busy' to help. read more

My husband decided to get remote starters for our 2 cars as a gift for this upcoming winter (and a push gift for me- WAY better than a piece of jewelry in my opinion). He researched pretty much the whole west and south suburban area looking for a decent price and good customer service and was immediately impressed by the level of response from Tom and the reasonable price. We decided to get both cars done in the same day and they shuttled us back and forth to a restaurant on LaGrange Rd so we could kill the time while we waited. Once the first car was done, Tom went through all the instructions step by step and even took the time to let me practice so I would know what I was doing before I left. We were both really impressed by the product we got for the price- we even have two remotes for each car now which was included in the standard price. From my husband's own searching I doubt you could find a better place to get this done or a nicer person to work with. read more

Took our 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 truck in for detailing and some scratch/light dent removal based on some friends recommendations. Worked with Tom the owner. Loved the professionalism and the no pressure. He pointed out some other items that they could also take care of (only if we wanted them to) and so we told him to go ahead and give us an estimate. He gave us a detailed estimate broken down for each of the different work items. All of it was really reasonable we were a little concerned but told him to go ahead with the whole job. We got the truck back when he promised and it looked better than we expected it to. Glad we found CarSmart as we are adding them to are small list of businesses that actually do what they say they are going to do for the price they promise to do it for. So rare now a days. read more
