Great job again, last year when we purchased our car I looked for a good place to have it paint sealed. When I called Tom, the owner, told me how it worked. It was not only reasonable compared to the dealership but also had an annual "tune up" available. When I brought it in they did a great job! Fast forward eight months, my wife comes home with a major door ding. I call Tom and he said to bring it in and they will take a look. He looked at it and even though it was close to the door edge he thought they could get it out and touch it up. They would also reapply the paint seal after doing a full check of the car. Picked it up last night and it was amazing. Looked like a new car again and can't tell there was a door ding. I can't recommend Car Smart and there staff high enough. I was referred to CarSmart for assistance with a tinted windows issue and a problem with the rear window shade. I called them on a Saturday afternoon and received a quick return call from Tom (Owner). I explained my issue and he said that he would take a look and give me a quote. I didn't realize that they also did scratch and dent repair (I have had some bad luck with the side of my garage lately). They were extremely accommodating and did an excellent job with my car. I then brought in my other card (similar garage incident). They quickly fixed that unsightly scratch. I asked to have my car detailed and they did an excellent job. Had a Rhino Bed Liner sprayed in my 2019 Silverado. Easy to work with for the first phone call to the final product. Dropped my truck off the day before, got a phone call as soon as it was done the next day about 3pm. No over spray on the truck bed looks amazing. The whole process was explained, preparation the bed, sanding opening up the drain holes. To the amount sprayed on the floor and side walls. Experience was Great. Needed rear window replaced after it shattered out. They were able to get the glass within 24 hours and offered to keep my vehicle indoors overnight. Price wise they were middle of the road, not the best or worst price but the service was more than worth it. When I picked up the vehicle the owner took me around his shop outlining all that they do and was extremely informative about the work that was done to my vehicle. I hit a dear with my car (2013 Chevy Traverse) back in November. There was substantial damage to it. I brought it to Crash Champions in New Lenox. I noticed in the spring when I was washing it, marks all over it, that looked like plastic. I tried to get them off with wax but they didn't come off. I brought the car to CarSmart and talked to Tom Nemec. He said that the marks were probably from whatever Crash Champions used to mask the car off when they were spraying the paint on it. He brought out some sort of compound to see if it would take the marks off and it did. He told me that they were very busy and that it would be a few weeks until they could get to it. I said no problem as the car sits in the garage since I have a service truck through the company I work for. I brought the car back to them when they called me back. It took them a couple of days but when I got the car back it looked fantastic! They got all of the marks off and waxed and buffed the car. It looks fabulous! I will definitely be bringing cars back to them for them to work on. read more

They did a nice job on my remote start but these guys do not have the best customer service skills. They are terrible at returning calls even after multiple voicemails. Its difficult to reach them for follow up questions after service and they always seem 'too busy' to help. read more

My husband decided to get remote starters for our 2 cars as a gift for this upcoming winter (and a push gift for me- WAY better than a piece of jewelry in my opinion). He researched pretty much the whole west and south suburban area looking for a decent price and good customer service and was immediately impressed by the level of response from Tom and the reasonable price. We decided to get both cars done in the same day and they shuttled us back and forth to a restaurant on LaGrange Rd so we could kill the time while we waited. Once the first car was done, Tom went through all the instructions step by step and even took the time to let me practice so I would know what I was doing before I left. We were both really impressed by the product we got for the price- we even have two remotes for each car now which was included in the standard price. Loved the professionalism and the no pressure. He pointed out some other items that they could also take care of (only if we wanted them to) and so we told him to go ahead and give us an estimate. He gave us a detailed estimate broken down for each of the different work items. All of it was really reasonable we were a little concerned but told him to go ahead with the whole job.
