    Update: The manager contacted me shortly after my original review. I emailed multiple photos of the frame and subframe, shared where I got it inspected, and shared that the repair shop found no evidence of subframe damage. What you see below is their response; how disingenuous. Not once during this entire experience could they tell me where and to what extent the damage was. It became my responsibility to prove that I didn't have damage. If there really was damage, there would be no need for me to take the car there for a third time to be shown the damage. That information could have easily been shared over the phone yet it wasn't because they had no documentation of the damage which is a huge system failure in need of a process change. If they were willing to devalue the car by 40% based off claims of damage, they should be able to substantiate those claims. Original review: If you are considering doing business with CarShop, please read this first. I was looking to sell my car and out of all the companies that buy used cars, (carvana, vroom, carmax, etc.) CarShop offered me the most. A salesperson was in contact with me shortly after submitting my cars information and I was able to schedule an appointment within 24 hours. The initial appointment went well. I filled out a document with my cars information while someone did an inspection and did a test drive. I was told there was no one available to do a frame inspection that day and to come back Monday. This was no big deal and I made my follow up appointment. Before I left, I asked the salesperson to write my offer down so I had a reference- $6,500. On Monday morning, I meet the salesperson and we started the process of handing over the registration and title while the frame was being checked. Everything was going well until I'm informed there is subframe damage to my car. Confused by this discovery, I asked what that is and how it could have happened. I'm informed it could have happened if the car was bottomed out or went over a curb/speed bump too fast. My car was a rental before I bought it, so it seemed possible. It was at this time my husband came to meet me and we were told the new price would be $4,000 due to this subframe damage. After this point, the salesperson started putting a lot of pressure to sell the car because the market was changing. He emphasized how the owner of the company would never allow a car to be resold with existing damage and the company practices with honesty and integrity. My husband encouraged me to wait and not sell, so I asked the salesperson to give me some time to think it over. The following day, I took my car to my local mechanic who had been servicing the car for years and explained what happened. I had a complete inspection of the car including an inspection of the underside of the car, frame, and subframe. Given the events of the day before, I was worried about this potential damage. What I did not expect however, was to find out I had been lied to. There was zero damage to the subframe and the mechanic even included photos. I was at a loss of how to feel but my immediate feeling was violated. This company had no problem lying directly to me, assuming I wouldn't know any better, and pressuring me to sell, all the while emphasizing their trustworthiness and impeccable integrity. If I was a man, would they have tried to take advantage of me?

She quickly text me back and asked me a series of questions and notified me that Anthony would be in contact with me in the morning. I told them I didn't want to discuss any other l cars I had a specific car I wanted, specific color, sun roof, and other requirements. I remember telling Anthony to not call me until he had the car I wanted and price I needed. Not one time did either one of them try to talk me out of the car when they had a couple hurdles finding it. Due to covid my car was stuck in California and it was going to take longer to get to the dealership. Anthony called me and said I would be happy to start a search over again and see what else we can find or we can wait. We ended up waiting and I got the car a couple weeks later. Each time I text or called him with a question or having a moment of hesitation he was patient, quick to reply, and always calmed me down. I have never had a dealership that I left and still wanted to keep in touch with them. I forgot to mention not only did they find my car but they were able to get 5 of the 6 requirements I gave them! Also I should mention he had this option for me in less than a week! This husband and wife team are fierce, extremely professional, and not your typical annoying sales team. I highly recommend you give them a shot on your next car buying experience. I promise you won't be disappointed and they will make buying a car an good experience!

Anthony and Patrick were super upfront and honest about everything, worked with us to get our trade-in paid off, and just took very good care of us in general. Patrick even made us a HUGE Batman decal to go on the back! When we got home, we realized that a 3rd party mechanic had not changed the oil. They didn't check, and we didn't check, as the mechanic *should* have done that automatically. Skyview sent us a check to reimburse us the money we spent on an oil change, no questions asked. Overall, a wonderful buying experience with two guys who actually care about their customers. We will for sure go back to Skyview when we are in the market for another vehicle! They were super easy to work with and there seemed to be a lot of different selections. One thing to be very aware of is that most of the vehicles on their lots are "buybacks". This means that they are cheaper but they could be considered a lemon and it may be hard to sell or have some issues that come down the road. Of course, there could be nothing wrong with it as some states have very lenient return laws so that the buyback could be for the smallest thing. Just make sure you know what you're getting into as you look for your car here. Of course there's nothing wrong and nothing but. Just want to make sure proper information is provide for you yelpies!

I ended up looking at Hyundai Ioniq 5 N (yes the fast version) before stopping here for 2023 Genesis GV60 Performance. Let me just say, this is by far THE BEST experience. I was able to walk in (no appointment needed) and Christian M was able to help me right away. A quick ID scan and he came back just gave me the keys I'm like what?!? I'm not used to this level of customer service. He gave me quick directions for the test drive route and I was able to follow it step by step by myself. I say the only negative about this place is the lot, they have many vehicles and parking/spaces are limited. As for the vehicle, it was nice and I would jump on it if it wasn't a buyback (branded title) Now I already knew this vehicle is branded before stopping by. I wanted to see if I can find out more on the reason why it was a buyback other than charging issue. Sadly the paperwork didn't provide the additional info. Should you get a buyback? That really depends. The price is GREAT no doubt and if you plan on KEEPING the vehicle long term (as the resale value is a lot lower, do a quick check via CarMax or Carvana), don't mind dealing with potential electricial issues (but they should be cover under warranty) But knowing myself I usually don't keep vehicles longer than a few years. Also I would double check your insurance and make sure it doesn't cost extra. And at the time I haven't driven the Kia EV6 GT (the original vehicle I was looking at) so I ended up passing on this. Also wanted to point out they have the lowest Doc fee that I've ran into ($299) here vs other dealers wanted $699. No add-ons, title fee is $19. Very low sales pressure, extremely friendly staff, I would stop by again in the future when I'm looking for another vehicle.

After reviewing my payments I needed to make sure it was doable for me and they said why don't you take some time to think about it. What car dealership would ever do that? I called back a couple hours later after speaking to my boyfriend and a few friends who all said what a great deal I was getting. I called back and spoke to Dave and said I had something going on later and was hoping we could do the transaction fairly quick. I showed up, he had everything ready and had all the paperwork done in 15 minutes! I will buy all my cars here and refer all my friends here. Dave and J.T. were amazing. The engine failed entirely, the axle was already broken, and to make matters worse, there was even an active recall on the vehicle at the time it was sold to me. When I reached out for help, I was told there was nothing they could do. The only "solution" offered was a rental car for $30 a day--which hardly feels like help given the situation. It's incredibly disappointing that they don't stand behind the vehicles they sell or take responsibility for issues like this. I would strongly recommend going somewhere else if you're considering buying a car.
