So I went back to Carrot Express and I'm so glad I did. I got the Vegan Piccadilo bowel and when I say it was flavorful it really bur with flavor. UPDATE: So I went back today to Caribe Express to get me a vegan Picadillo bowl when I tell you that was so favorable, it was great. There is more of a bang to the flavor when you add the cilantro lime dressing to it. And let's not forget about the açai bowl.... It was too die for. You have to taste this for yourself. Their food is great and the quality consistent. We order from them often for work lunches. What really sets them apart for me though is their excellent customer service. We had an issue with an order where one item was missing. Even though we would just pick something up quickly elsewhere they insisted on getting it right. The manager personally came to deliver the missing item and threw in a click of their delicious cake as their heartfelt apology. They somehow knew the way to my heart was through my stomach so I'm pretty much loyal to Carrot Express for life. read more

It's great to see healthy food spots popping up at more convenient locations in Miami! I had heard a lot of great things about Carrot Express so I decided to give it a try and it lived up to all its hype. I ordered the Asian salad with a turkey burger as my protein and a side of lentil kale soup. The salad was very fresh and had the perfect blend of ingredients. The dressing so delicious that I'm considering going back to see if they sell it by the jar. The showstopper was the turkey burger. I could totally have that every single day. This was one of the best turkey burgers I've had. The lentil soup was also fantastic. I saw that other locations feature a carrot ginger soup on their menu but Doral does not. I am really sorry I am giving this only two stars because I was so excited to finally order from here. However , my fire wrap that I ordered with chicken salad hardly had any chicken salad in it. It was nearly ALL kale , quinoa and sprouts. I found 2 tiny tomatoes in the half I split with my daughter. The picture on the site is nothing like what I got. And it's not a cheap wrap to order... almost 15 bucks !? Are you nuts? The picture makes it look like I could split it. False advertising. Pretty disappointed. I came here after a long day of travel and was stoked to find a healthy restaurant. This place blew my mind!! The food was exceptional and the smoothies were out of this world!! I've been coming to this location for a year now since i live right by and for its variety in fresh food. My review isn't about the food because I've never had an issue with the few things I've tried. It's the SERVICE!! In the last year it's gone from being greeted at the door and treated like a star customer to being asked why I wasn't going to purchase a salad I tried the dressing for it like it was a bother (tall young man at the front). The time on the food has also gone down, I waited 20mins for ONE smoothie and it was sitting there melting the entire time when i went to ask for it. She didn't offer to make a new one seeing that it had been there for a while. Love the vision and the food just not so much a fan of service. Even though they did not have alll the ingredients and the server could not helped much, an assistance manager , I think her name is Sila, came and provide me with a great alternative. The salad was well done, but her service was outstanding. I work nearby and usually not very happy with the service here, but Sila made a huge difference! She went above and beyond! I just want to update my review. The owner Gabriella was very nice to reach out to me and make things right. I went back two more times and everything was absolutely changed. Even my tostones were crispy and delicious. My food perfectly cooked and I finally got no cheese when I asked for it. Whatever she did, she handled the matter quickly and efficiently. Even the employees were on their "A" game. Really surprised me. And no they did not know I was coming. But I really do appreciate the proactiveness of the owner to rectify the issue. Terrible service. I called the store as soon as I placed my order on Uber eats because it didn't let me modify the order on the app. I was calling for 10 minutes with no answer. Once they did I asked for a Cesar salad wrap with no dressing and the lady over the phone told me that the order was already ready and that she couldn't exchange it for me. I told her I had been calling for 10 minutes without being able to get thru. She told me that it was my fault for calling during the busy time and she couldn't do anything about it. And she had the audacity to say that the Uber driver took the order already and now she really couldn't change it when it was still trying to locate a driver. It's so upsetting paying so much money for food and not being able to ask for it how you want. read more

Service for both dine-in and Uber eats / delivery are fast and courteous, and their restaurant is impeccable and well-run. The menu is extensive with great choices, although I often stick to my two favorites, Mario's chicken bowl and the Salmon Buddha bowl. Highly recommend. I ordered the poke bowl tuna with quinoa. The tuna is fresh and the food is great. I didn't realize until I returned back to work and downloaded the menu again to see what other items were in the menu when I noticed that when I ate my bowl it did not come with seaweed salad and edamame like the menu stated. It was also missing the eel sauce and spicy mayo. I was given cilantro sauce instead. It was still good but would have been better if it was plated correctly especially since I paid for those items. read more

I always order their açaí bowls and they are to die for. They are large portions and full with fresh fruits. I just ordered delivery for the first time today and my meal was so good that I felt compelled to go ahead and write a review. I never order salmon or really any fish when getting delivery anymore because I've had bad experiences from other places, but I went ahead and decided to try the Scottish salmon with cilantro brown rice and no joke the salmon could not have been any better. The top was crispy and the soy-ginger marinade was flavorful. I do regret not adding the extra half avocado though, but the portions were really generous. The only thing I would say I would have liked better is if the avocado had been placed on the rice rather than in the side bowl of pico de gallo because it gets mushy fast- not a big deal just a preference.
