It gets a lot of visual attention from people driving by so you've probably seen it in your travels. There is a relatively new car park down Evans Ave but there's still parking down Norman Walk also. A small agility playground has been set up near the Evans Ave car park. There are also swings here and the rest of the play equipment is just a short hop, skip and a jump across the bridge. The playground in the main area is entirely rubber floored and is a cute place for toddlers to hang out. Toilets are close at hand and so is a sheltered table/chair area. At the time I was here, there were about 8 men in Parks and Wildlife uniforms on and I didn't feel like asking them to smile so unfortunately there's no specific photo of that area. You may be able to see it in the background of other photos though. There's also a rotunda available but it's purely shelter, no seating or tables (BYO!). The lawn area is great and many amateur cricket game has been played here. *Dogs allowed (on leash)* *Sheltered table/chair* *Rotunda* *BBQ* *Toilets*

It's a diverse park in terms of structure, shape and options which should make it accessible to pretty much anyone. We used to come here to play on the playsets, later to have a kick, to go for runs along Brownhill Creek, smoke clandestine cigarettes, and then later still have picnics and chill out with friends. It's hard to call it an actual reserve considering it's mostly just a big space of lawn spotted with benches, play equipment and a rotunda with a creek running through it. Yet, it's a nice place to relax in the shade of a massive gum, and super easy to access.

This completely fenced playground is entirely rubber floored under the play equipment. There are BBQs both inside the fenced are and outside the fenced area. There are tennis courts and drinking fountains. Across the 'driveway' there are toilets and a basketball hoop. The only reason why I didn't give this park a five star rating is that I usually like to see equipment designed for all ages where as this area is definitely directed at the little ones. Taking photos was a little hard. There are ALWAYS people here and I didn't want to be intrusive. Hopefully you can get a fairly good idea from the photos included. *Dogs not allowed in fenced area* *Drinking fountains* *Tennis courts* *Table/chair areas (some sheltered)* *BBQ's*

There's lots of shade sails, tables, benches and trees. On a warm summer's morning all of these were greatly appreciated. It's fenced, and there are some creative pieces of play equipment, including a big tyre swing and boat which were both very popular with the smaller members of our party. There are toilets, taps, and even a tennis court, with plenty of parking nearby. It's easy enough for the grown ups to chill out and chat because the kids are so busy enjoying themselves. The only negative is that is can get very busy. On the other hand, it gets busy because it's good, so I hesitate to deduct a star for that. Recommended, especially for the under 8s.

With a huge area of playground equipment, and a towering cubby house housing a flying fox, swings, a teeter totter and best of all, plenty of trees to climb and hide during a game of hide and seek. There is enormous shade available here and they have great BBQ facilities, seating benches, toilets with a changing table and a drinking fountain. We love coming here. Throw a picnic rug, walk bare foot on the mulch or soft grass, twirl, run, dance or jump. So much of fun and pleasure as you soak up nature's beautiful aroma, sights and sounds.

There is room here to set up a picnic and not feel like the other people in the park can hear every word you say or are checking out the types of sandwiches you made. There are toilets, BBQs, taps and from memory there was a drinking fountain near the toilet block. There isn't any sheltered table/chair areas, this park is more a 'throw out a blanket or bring a chair' park. The playground is rubber floored and there's more than enough here to entertain a wide variety of ages. I can imagine this park would get a lot of traffic so if you want a certain spot, I'd get here early. *Dogs allowed* *Drinking fountain* *Toilet block* *BBQ*

There is a young children's play area, as well as a larger play are for the older children (ages four and up would be my guess. It all depends on the skill level and coordination of your child). I love, love, love that this playground has shade cloth over the larger playground. There's also a toilet block on site, sheltered table/chair area near the toilets and lots of trees to cast shade over the some of the lawn. There was a larger family/group enjoying the park while I was there so the photos of the play equipment aren't as detailed as normal but there's rubber flooring under the whole of the larger play area as well as the swings. The entire park and equipment look quite new. I wasn't sure if the family that were there were near a BBQ and I think there was at least a tap near the toilets....but I couldn't be sure. The whole park is fenced. The downside to this park is that it's small. Dogs aren't allowed. *No dogs allowed* *Toilet Block* *Shade cloth over larger play equipment*

Coolest secret playground ever…read more The atmosphere is the key, here. With the right sun, the shadows of the leaves sprawl out in a magical display. Oscar Wilde once said that all art is quite useless, but THIS art is not, you see. The beauty of the overhanging trees is also a protection against the sun. Aha! Take that, Wilde! The playground is great, particularly since there are two of them. This means the little kids don't have to miss out, and the parents don't have to suffer any heart attacks watching their little child get squished by bigger children. Also, for those of you who've read all of my reviews (there's probably thousands of you), you'll know by now I'm a toilet lover. And Dora Gild, of course, has toilets. Boo yakasha.

Wow! What a wonderful place for children to play or to have birthday parties. This playground…read morereally is well equipped to handle a variety of age groups and skill levels. It's fenced all the way around, has toilets (that get locked at night), a drink fountain, a beautifully shaded table area and a variety of play equipment....even one of the good old 'round-a-bouts' is still there! All of the play equipment has rubber ground and there's even a lawn area for those who would like to flick out a picnic rug. Perhaps the only downfall (and not a huge one at that) is that it butts right up against the train line so every now and then you have to yell for about 15 seconds. There's no shade cloth over the play equipment but most of the tables are in the shade and there's naturally a lot of trees in the area so it could just be in the middle of the day that it gets direct light. The whole area is wheel chair accessible, even the toilets. The lawn area could be a little hard for wheels though, it tends to get a bit dippy and bumpy. *No dogs allowed*

But there's a reason it's called a 'playground' and not a 'park'. There's a great variety of play equipment. It's very, very difficult to get bored with the play equipment here. And if you manage it, challenge achieved! Then you can go straight back onto being interested again. Because of the focus on play equipment, it may seem there's a lot less to do for parents and other attendees. Perhaps this is true. Unless you're a badass like me, who likes to ruin the fun all the kids are having by having more fun yourself. And the toilets are okay too, I guess.
