From the sighing, to the glaring-- not only was she not friendly, she was rude! Consider saying please or thank you if you work in retail. Or if you're that unhappy working there: quit! Furthermore, they told me they couldn't take an item back because they didn't sell it anymore (meaning: it wasn't populating on their iPad). I literally had to walk all the way to the back of the store and grab the item which they still sell (pic attached) in order for them to even consider they were wrong. Oops! No "sorry about that", no "oh you're right, our fault!" Just a dull look on her face obviously disgruntled because I'm making her do "extra work." Really-- either be happy at your job OR just quit. This review is about the play area only…read more I'd heard that Living Spaces had a fabulous play area so I took my 3 year old over to check it out. Because I'd also heard that they get quite busy and that there can be a long wait to play, so we went over at 10 am (when they open) on a Tuesday. It paid off as we were the only ones there for about 10 minutes. So, the play area is pretty great- my son played independently for about an hour. Things to know: You have to fill out a waiver for each kid each time before they can play. Online forms are coming at some point. Word on the street is that weekends are so busy and crazy that they should be avoided. Parents are required to stay in the play area with kids 3 and under but are required to leave kids 4 and over with the attendants. They have an interesting looking cafe right outside the play area but it wasn't open while we were there.

My wife unplugged it. I had to climb out of it on the side. Doing this I hurt my back now. I just had a hip replaced a little over two months ago. I tipped it up. Sure enough burned wires. That's cute! What a piece of junk! NOW WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO? More jerkin me around? I think not! I am demanding a Living Spaces top level manager call me ASAP with a resolution in hand. That isn't the end of this story. When we bought the two chairs we bought couch or a loveseat or whatever you want to call it. It's two pieces. One half was back ordered. It took about four months to get it. Multiple visits to the store and calls etc. it finally arrived. It does not match at all! Color is off. Cushions don't line up. This was a horrible waste of $5000 of my money! And there is absolutely no customer service or support to be seen. Now I have an inoperable chair that the seat cushion is still sagging, an injured back, and almost a fire inside my home. Let that sit in the picture your mind can surely see. My mom also wanted the lamps, so it took about three weeks from when I first emailed and when I received the lamps. (I was pleasantly surprised they would ship them to me without spending the 8,000.00 shipping minimum) They shipped them to two separate addresses and they did research on the cheapest way to ship them. I called and informed them that I wanted to return the sofa and loveseat at that point. Since then I have found a 3rd hole, though I digress. I ordered a new different sofa and loveseat that was a special order and would not arrive until July 15-18. I have called and talked to no less than 12 "customer service" people, all the while being told that "it would be another week". Today I called and was told that now it would be "another few weeks". By now I am livid! "Nikki" said she would call the manufacturer and call me back. She of course did not call me back. I called again and was told I could not be transferred to "Nikki",and spoke to "Chelsea". She informed me that yes, it would be another few weeks. I asked her if I could speak to a manager and she informed me that she and everyone there IS a MANAGER. I said that there HAS to be someone above her, she said "no, I report to no one". I informed her that now I am going to and find furniture SOME PLACE ELSE, and that I will then call and have AFW come and pick up this DEFECTIVE AND CRAPPY furniture and get a refund. She said "you can do that if you like". Honestly, this is NO WAY to treat customers! I have gotten furniture from AFW in the past and have never been treated like this. Trust me, DO NOT GWT FURNITURE FROM THIS COMPANY!! The value for the money you spend is simply CRAP! And apparently they do not care.

They would only make a refund with receipts which seems reasonable enough....but I did not have receipts because it's been a 2 month process (water damage recovery project) so I asked if he could work with me...I asked of he could tell they were their tiles from their store and he said yes. He would not work with me or call on a manager to help however. If he knew the tiles did in fact come from this store why wouldn't he take the extra step to work with me? It was about 8 tiles. Couldn't be bothered to ask a manager if they could work with me given that we had obviously bought a sizable tile order from them and given that the tiles obviously came from their store. He saved his employer $25 but lost a customer. I had driven quite a ways to get there. Not really customer service oriented. We did like the tiles we got from them however.

He was knowledgeable, friendly, and never made us feel pressured. We ended up purchasing a sofa, loveseat, side table, and a few accessories. They happened to be running a special, so we got a great deal. Our delivery arrived today, and the pieces are beautiful! There was a small hiccup--one of the sofas was missing an option we had selected. Chad called us first thing, apologized, and immediately offered to send a replacement while letting us keep the incorrect one in the meantime. On top of that, he gave us a credit for the inconvenience. Outstanding customer service. If you're visiting the Thornton store, definitely ask for Chad!
