    This was maybe one of the worst experiences in retail I've ever had. The one-star review is…read morespecifically because of an employee named Magdalena. I came in today to exchange some items I had bought for my wife's birthday. Because I lost the receipt, I had to take 60% in credit of the sales price. No problem-- it's not their fault I lost the receipt, it's mine. But what was so glaringly one-star worthy was how painful the entire exchange was because of Magdalena's demeanor. From the sighing, to the glaring-- not only was she not friendly, she was rude! Consider saying please or thank you if you work in retail. Or if you're that unhappy working there: quit! I can't believe this is a Christian-owned business. It's quite baffling! Furthermore, they told me they couldn't take an item back because they didn't sell it anymore (meaning: it wasn't populating on their iPad). Instead of doing some due diligence or giving a consumer the benefit of the doubt, they'd made their decision: we're not taking this back! I literally had to walk all the way to the back of the store and grab the item which they still sell (pic attached) in order for them to even consider they were wrong. Oops! No "sorry about that", no "oh you're right, our fault!" Just a dull look on her face obviously disgruntled because I'm making her do "extra work." Really-- either be happy at your job OR just quit. Don't suffer others because of your lack of happiness. I had $5 left on my gift card which I gave to the customer behind me because I'm never coming back here again, I'll go out my way to go to Michael's. Awful job, Hobby Lobby.

    This review is about the play area only…read more I'd heard that Living Spaces had a fabulous play area so I took my 3 year old over to check it out. Because I'd also heard that they get quite busy and that there can be a long wait to play, so we went over at 10 am (when they open) on a Tuesday. It paid off as we were the only ones there for about 10 minutes. So, the play area is pretty great- my son played independently for about an hour. Things to know: You have to fill out a waiver for each kid each time before they can play. Online forms are coming at some point. Word on the street is that weekends are so busy and crazy that they should be avoided. Parents are required to stay in the play area with kids 3 and under but are required to leave kids 4 and over with the attendants. They have an interesting looking cafe right outside the play area but it wasn't open while we were there.

I contacted their online sales agents not once but twice to confirm that the chair I was about to order did in fact have that capability. I took a screen shot of the second one as proof, because it wasn't clear they were actually checking the product while I was chatting with them. Sure enough, the recliner gets here, and doesn't have the very capabilities they said it had. I contacted customer service and they said that I would have to pay the restocking fee (plus the pick up fee) even though I have PROOF that their sales people flat out lied to me. Total SCAM and heartless.

    I was visiting my uncles apartment in Phoenix in January and saw some bedside lamps I really liked…read more I found out they were sold at AFW, so when I got back home to Oregon I decided to reach out to see if they would be willing to ship some of the lamps to me. My mom also wanted the lamps, so it took about three weeks from when I first emailed and when I received the lamps. (I was pleasantly surprised they would ship them to me without spending the 8,000.00 shipping minimum) They shipped them to two separate addresses and they did research on the cheapest way to ship them. I really apprecieatd that. Once they shipped it only took about 2 days to get to my mom and 4 days to get to me. I worked with Tena from the Thornton Colorado store.

    Had a desk delivered and the technicians putting together did not put all the pieces on it. The…read moredesk wobbled. They hid the missing parts under my bed. The screws were stripped. I called American furniture and they sent a technician out a few days later to see if they can fix it. The technician was here for 20 minutes and made the call to get me a new desk delivered. He did not attempt to take the desk apart and put it together again. The company then sent me confirmation that they were exchanging the broken desk for a new one. A few days later the delivery people came back and at first tried to act like they were technicians inspecting. The desk to see if I actually needed a new one. I had to tell them the appointment was for an exchange pre my receipts. They brought the new desk up but instead tried to fix my old desk in a makeshift way and told me "there it works you don't need a new desk." Mind you, the missing parts are still not put on and the screws are still stripped. I asked the if they were refusing to deliver a new desk and they again stated "your desk works " and refused. And then walked out with the new desk and refused the delivery leaving me with a broken desk "that works" according to them. The makeshift fix they appplied isn't even correct. If I were to take this desk apart to move I would not be able to put it back together. Both of the delivery people (a white and black guy) were some of the most incompetent and rude criminals I've ever encountered in all my years of having definitive delivered. They both refused to give me their names. I had to call the store and actually ask if these guys worked for them and whether I should call the authorities or not. I still don't know. But they portrayed themselves as American furniture employees but who even knows. I will be seeking all available remedies if this does not get resolved. Hoping the company can fix this but regardless this is some of the worst customer service I have ever encountered. Who knows if these delivery folks were just rouge or if this is an overall company strategy to swindle documented returns and exchanges due to company error Be careful.

    Delivery people would not allow me to disconnect the washer (since they said they couldn't due to…read morebad connections) so they could haul away the old one on that day. Old one had to sit in my renters living room for two more days and we had to put aside another whole day to wait for someone to pick the old washer up. Delivery men were rude and did not understand or speak good english. When I called to ask for refund on haul away since it was such poor service I was told I would get a call back and I never did. I called again and this time was told they could give me I could only a $25 certificate and I was not allowed to speak with a supervisor. They said it was not possible for me to speak with a supervisor. Terrible customer service all around and I will not be doing business with lowes in the future for any of my homes.

I made sure to check the location closest to me and see if it is available, it is, but not online. I drove there, checked it out and then cashier told me that the price is not what it says on the website. I spoke to their manager (Mario) who said the same thing. I would not have driven down to the store if I it didn't specify on their website that there's a promotion. I wanted to get a shop light, a small shop vac and a few other things besides the glue, and I am a Lowe's loyalty member, but I didn't and left after no effort was made to verify the promotion or why it actually exists online but not at the store.
