Had 10am appointment to clean 4 bedrooms and stairs. No show by 10:35 and no phone call. So called but had to leave message. Got text back at 11:10 that just finishing job but drive would have been at least 35 min as I do this every week since I knew where he was. so most likely not actually starting til noon. so not enough time for carpet to dry before family home, even with heat turned up. I needed to have carpet and furniture cleaned. After reading good reviews and getting a reasonable estimate, I decided to go with Andrew. He worked with me on my limited time schedule, and cleaned the carpets. Only then, when I had to leave, and was having a friend stay til he was finished, did he tell me that he didn't want to clean the furniture in the house because he was worried about water damaging our old wood floors. He actually offered to come back the next day with someone to help him carry everything outside to clean! Aside from the fact that it would have been very difficult, even for 2 men, to carry our large sofa and chair outside, I wasn't free to be there that day. That is something that should have been discussed BEFORE scheduling, especially since there are many houses with wood floors in Seattle! It can't be the first time it's come up. So I cancelled the furniture cleaning and need to find someone else to do that on another day. If money is tight and you have a very basic carpet cleaning need, Andrew is your guy - he's very nice. read more
