Be sure to ask for Frances. This wonderful woman helped us from the beginning until the end. She knew what she was talking about, and gave us great suggestions. She was extremely professional, and courteous. Every store should have an employee like Frances. She is a great asset to A.J. Rose, and she deserves to be commended in some way. I will definitely recommend A.J. Rose to anyone who is looking for any type of floor or carpet. Thank you Frances, for all your help and suggestions Joe P.

Before hiring them I told them several times my floor…read morewasn't level and the only reason I wasn't doing it myself and was hiring them was because the floor needed to be leveled first. The said they could do it, and we agreed on a fee for leveling the floor. Great. But then they didn't level the floor. The installer said it wasn't necessary when I came home and he was 3/4 done with the floor. When I complained about the final result, they didn't offer to take up the flooring and level it to make it right. They did remove the charge for leveling the floor but otherwise charged us full price for the install. 6 years later and our floor has been awful ever since Day 1 and I still hate how bouncy it is in many spots and its now starting to pull apart. I already need to pay for a new floor when should have lasted 15 years or more. I will say everyone we spoke with was kind and never rude, even if they didn't offer to make it right.

We took the day off work, and rather than waste a day, we googled other carpet stores in the area, and found Esposito. We are so glad we did! Lisa was so friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful in the store. She consulted with us to find out what we were looking for and guided us to the right type, softness, and thickness of carpet that was available in our color preference and budget parameters. We walked away with a couple of samples so we could mull our top 2 choices over and see how they looked against our paint colors. We had just added a second floor to our house and needed to carpet 3 bedrooms, a sitting area, and a master closet. It ended up being 130 sq yards of carpet! Not a measly order. We did end up visiting that other company, and conducted research on others like the big box stores and the national flooring companies, but we really liked Esposito and ended up choosing them over the competitors. Their prices were reasonable for the quality of carpet we chose, and we just felt more comfortable with their expertise, honesty, and customer service. Mark and his team arrived on time to install the carpet padding. They planned to come Thursday to install the padding, and then come back Friday to install the carpet. They were so efficient, they ended up finishing both, and we had beautiful carpet installed a day earlier than expected! They were very clean and even vacuumed the floor before they left. Our rooms are large, and there had to be a seam in almost all the rooms, but we cannot tell where the seams are at all! We were very pleased with the installation. We were already happy with their service, but they sent us a packet with our warranty information, and included a hand-written thank you note for giving them our business! We want to thank them, not the other way around! You won't get that level of service and personalization from a national company. Lisa and Mark take pride in their small, locally-owned business, and it shows! I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a great experience with carpeting or other flooring (they also do hardwood, tile, laminates, and area rugs)!

Very easy company to deal with

I found this place because I really believe in supporting small businesses instead of the big box…read morestores. I needed new carpet for the family room and 2 sets of stairs. The place was little hard for me to find because it was inside a building complex. It was not a standalone store. Once inside, the place was much bigger than I anticipated, and it had tons of carpet of samples. Rather than browsing through the carpets, I told Ellie the salesperson what I wanted. She immediately showed me carpet samples that were spot on. I took home 3 samples to see them in my home, and Ellie came over later that day to measure. I purchased the wool carpet the same day. It couldn't have been faster or easier. Carpet installation was supposed to take two days. At the last minute, we decided to move the furniture before the installers got here at 10:00-10:00 am so that they could finish in time. Tony and Ron got to my house at 9:00 am, which was great. The earlier the better. They had pre-cut the stair runners at the shop, so that made installation much faster. Tony sewed the binding on the stair runners right on site, which is a huge time saver. They did a terrific job seaming the carpet across 26' in my family room. It was put in smooth and tight. Just perfect. The job was supposed to take two days, but since they were ahead of schedule (because there was no furniture to move), they elected to work until after 7:00 pm. I got all the carpet installed in one day instead of two. No one ever works that. All my other contractors start looking at their watches at 3:00 or 4:00 pm. The guys were very friendly, clean, fast, and SKILLED. I would absolutely go with this company again. Everyone was on the ball, and knew how to do their jobs. My husband and I are really happy with the service, selection, and final result. I bought 475 sq ft of pure wool carpet for a final installed price $5367. Worth every penny. You get what you pay for. The house looks great.

The glue was harder than cement and it caused a lot of problems when they were removing it. I had given them a tight window to do the install and Jermie and his crew worked tirelessly to make sure they removed it properly, created a nice surface to lay the new carpet, and got the new carpet installed in time. I'm not sure how many other companies would have put forth the extra effort he did. They did such an amazing job for my company that I had them come and carpet the entire second floor of my home and install bamboo flooring in my home office. In short, I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone and will use them for all my future flooring needs!

The team, led by Fabio, came in, ripped up carpeting, moved all furniture ( extra cost), installed LVP flooring. The team made whole process from carpet removal, to installation, to clean up efficient with wonderful results. The flooring looked great! Eight years later, in new house. Back to Carpet Liquidators. More carpeting removed: 2 bedrooms, hallway , stairs ( as you can tell not a big fan of carpet). LVP installed with another great job right down to the trim work. Gina, front desk representative, spent time with me picking out stair runner and flooring. While they were here, consulted with Fabio and added on 2 bathroom floors. No problem, no extra wait time. Again, the team members were professional. Next project, 2025, back to Carpet Liquidators. Very small deck off of patio doors leading to backyard. The team came in, ripped off small deck and built 19x10 walk-out deck with white vinyl railings and 2 flower boxes by the stairs. This team worked in the rain and 90 degree heat. I love how it came out, use it daily, and have received multiple compliments. From Gina, front desk representative, to Fabio, lead crew member, this team is great: professional, courteous, respectful of your home, hard-working. I would highly recommend them as I have used this company 3 times now and have been very, very happy with all results. Jackie P.

We had such a wonderful experience previously and hoped we would be as lucky the second time around. The floors came out absolutely perfect! They helped choose the best flooring based on the look we were after. Ultimately, we choose a new type of flooring that is waterproof and scratch proof and looks like real hardwood. The only downside is, now I wish we had that throughout the entire house because our dog's nails have done a real number on the original house floors and water stains in the kitchen. Alas, that larger project will have to be for another day when the penny jar is full. The installers worked quickly and flawlessly and were very helpful with the best options on how to blend the new floor with the floor that is in the rest of the home at the doorway for a seamless transition. We are perfectionists and are never thrilled to have to delegate home work to strangers, but thankfully we've found a company we trust with our floors. Highly recommend them and will let you know if we use them again in the future.

If anyone is in the market for a new floor it might be best to patronize the superstores in Danvers. They always call and ask how the workers performed. Pam was our sales director and it didn't seem to be disturbed about the awful condition of our place. Stan is a direct representative of sorts and I had complained about tiles not installed properly. He agreed because in one section I felt I was walking on a trampoline. When I didn't hear from Stan for a few weeks , we returned to the Bradford store on Newbury street only to find out he didn't remember me. That was our last interaction with Bradford. My wife was very upset; she saved up thousands. We only wanted to make things easier for our daughter (trustee) to sell our place when we are no more. James Dennehy
