    Boston Rug Cleaning

I fell in love with a white wool rug two years ago and just couldn't stop thinking about it, and…read morewhile I don't let anyone wear shoes in my apartment I have a Goldendoodle. Right, a dog who loves the outdoors and can't take his shoes off! I bought the rug anyhow, and after a year I noticed that one side of it looked gray in areas, then I had the "aha" moment that it was where my pup likes to lie. I moved a year ago and just flipped the rug around and bought myself some time. Last month I decided to move again, and looked around to see if this rug was available in a material I could clean at home? No, wool only. I just assumed that sending a rug out for cleaning was hundreds of $$, and that was why I was thinking of calling it a lesson learned and just throw it away. I happened to see a post on NextDoor from someone asking about rug cleaning, and narrowed it down to Boston Rug and Kennedy Carpets. I get up early so I am often emailing at that time, and sent a message to both with details on the rug, size, etc. Received a message from Bahman with all the details, as well as a 20% offer for mentioning "cute dog" (the cute dog on his website is his dog). I said I was moving in a month and would get back to him when I had more details, and when I did, someone came and picked it up the next day and it was back a week later (earlier than expected!!!). I was so anxious to see it when it came back, but was rolled/wrapped up so nicely that I knew to leave it that way for the movers. As soon as I was in my new living room, I unrolled it and it is LIKE NEW!! Hooray!!!! Thanks to Bahman and his crew, I have what looks like a brand new rug again. Thanks so much to them (and the cute dog)!!

My friends, my pulmonologist, my coworkers, they were all like "wait, you don't clean your rugs?!?" And I said "I vacuum them" and "I got them from my parents and they've never sent them off to a rug cleaner." Yelp reader, I was wrong. You need to have a professional actually CLEAN your rug. And so, I finally did. Boston Rug Cleaning was fantastic. Reasonable prices, rugs were done in about 2 weeks, good communication, and very pretty rugs- with no weird chemical cleaning smell. Also, it's like those ASMR videos of people cleaning filthy rugs and you're like "it was red this whole time?!" That's how I felt when the rugs came back and I unfurled them from their paper casings. The colors are so vibrant and evenly tufted. I feel like I've grown out of my family's incorrect conviction that wool rugs don't need deep cleaning - they really do! My lungs are happy! The weird smell in my house when we've been gone for a week is also gone! Anyway, it's work to move all the furniture away and roll up the rug, but definitely worth the effort (you need to sweep under there anyway, guarantee it). The company will pick up the rug but if you have a car it's not hard at all to take over yourself and save some $. They're on Rte 9 and parking was no problem- they also helped move the rugs in and out of the car. So happy with the service!

The said they could do it, and we agreed on a fee for leveling the floor. Great. But then they didn't level the floor. The installer said it wasn't necessary when I came home and he was 3/4 done with the floor. When I complained about the final result, they didn't offer to take up the flooring and level it to make it right. They did remove the charge for leveling the floor but otherwise charged us full price for the install. 6 years later and our floor has been awful ever since Day 1 and I still hate how bouncy it is in many spots and its now starting to pull apart. I already need to pay for a new floor when should have lasted 15 years or more. I will say everyone we spoke with was kind and never rude, even if they didn't offer to make it right.

Upon entering the store they seemed pretty helpful although the man Who 'helped' me was pretty ripe. I could smell him through my mask which wasn't a good sign. That aside we discussed what I was looking for, he walked around with a calculator and gave me an estimate but made no effort to write down what I had wanted. Apparently that's the customers job and then when I called to get a final price I was scolded and told that they wouldn't help me because I questioned the actual quote that was sent to me. Don't call the owner A.J. or the manager they clearly don't care nor do they want to discuss what my questions were. The store didn't have AC. It was hot. The management was lackadaisical and they clearly don't need your business!

The team, led by Fabio, came in, ripped up carpeting, moved all furniture ( extra cost), installed LVP flooring. The team made whole process from carpet removal, to installation, to clean up efficient with wonderful results. The flooring looked great! Eight years later, in new house. Back to Carpet Liquidators. More carpeting removed: 2 bedrooms, hallway , stairs ( as you can tell not a big fan of carpet). LVP installed with another great job right down to the trim work. Gina, front desk representative, spent time with me picking out stair runner and flooring. While they were here, consulted with Fabio and added on 2 bathroom floors. No problem, no extra wait time. Again, the team members were professional. Next project, 2025, back to Carpet Liquidators. Very small deck off of patio doors leading to backyard. The team came in, ripped off small deck and built 19x10 walk-out deck with white vinyl railings and 2 flower boxes by the stairs. This team worked in the rain and 90 degree heat. I love how it came out, use it daily, and have received multiple compliments. From Gina, front desk representative, to Fabio, lead crew member, this team is great: professional, courteous, respectful of your home, hard-working. I would highly recommend them as I have used this company 3 times now and have been very, very happy with all results. Jackie P.

It was the Saturday of memorial weekend and we were hoping to have a carpet installed in the apartment and have it rented by June 1. We were greeted by Jenn (name?) who directed us to an entire warehouse full of carpets they had in stock. We couldn't be any happier with the price or the service! I would strongly recommend Carpet Liquidators when looking for your next carpet!
