As you can see it is stunningly beautiful. We chose vinyl planks for the main floor and basement and updated carpets on the main bedroom floor. I started out buying remnants and always look at the high end rugs while I am there. About 85 % of my 7 room home has Pelletier carpeting in them. I love their runners and back of the store sale carpets. Always personable and help me carry out my purchases. You can buy carpeting anywhere but the prices at Pelletier are always lower and their markdowns are amazing. It is a bit of a drive for me but it is always exciting to see what's new in the store. read more

This store came highly recommended but overall I am not impressed with the customer service. The carpet is nice , it's a remnant but I paid as much as if it were a custom order. They lack in areas of informing customer about possible issues when laying carpet. I prefer a place that wants to make the customer happy and inform them of any issues that may go wrong with the carpet. If you know what you want and don't need any advice then go here otherwise . I was not impressed. Typical sales men that are nice in the beginning and then brush you off after they have your money. I've never seen a seem when I purchased carpets in the past and not much I can do about it now. read more

Ordered a carpet for a hallway from Paul, he texted me a picture of the carpet to be installed and they ended up installing the wrong carpet. Had to wait until it was convenient for them to come back and rip it out and install the right one. Later put a deposit on a burgundy carpet for a living room. Had a dispute concerning that job and requested a refund. Paul tells me it was a special order and refuses to refund the entire balance and charges me $245.00 for "restocking fee's" Was never told it was special order and my invoice never identified it as a special order. Don't bother doing business with these people. They would rather have your "restocking fee" money, bad reviews on numerous sites, better business bureau complaints, attorney general complaints along with small claims court filings. read more

Horrible customer experience. After spending 4+ hrs in our home and at their store selecting flooring and carpet options, we were given a quote and wanted to move forward. When it came to finalizing everything, the quote provided increased by 50% because she "added incorrectly"..... ridiculous. Vicki is a wonderful salesperson: attentive, but not overly so. She adjusted her recommendations as we wandered around not sure of exactly what we wanted. She was not out to sell us the most expensive rug but listened to our concerns on price and steered us in the right direction. We ordered a rug, and when it didn't arrive in two weeks, she was very assertive in finding out from the manufacturer where it was. We've been purchasing high-quality remnants at Pelletier to have bound into area rugs for our unusually proportioned rooms. Typically, they've been able to come in at $5/sq foot or less, inclusive of binding and carpet pad, for really beautiful pieces. I'm also impressed by the staff's knowledge and their customer service. Great company. Glad they're local. Vickie quickly picked up on what we were looking for but was careful to make sure we looked at every and all possibilities. Vickie was very patient with us while we narrowed down three area rugs. When it came time to re-rug our 3 bedrooms, stairs, and bath, we got quotes from Home Depot, Luna, Empire, and Pelletier. Pelletier came in at $1000 to $2000 less than all of the other quotes we received. When the rug we ordered was out of stock, preventing us from moving into our new house, they automatically upgraded the rug to the nicer, more expensive rug at no additional cost to us. They were flexable in coming to meet us at our house, with sample any time we wanted, and the installers were professional. Since then I have had them put rug in another room, and they are coming back to put new flooring in our other bathroom, and to fix the rug my new pup ate off the stairs. I don't bother looking anywhere else now. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is because this is my 3rd time using them, and 3rd time I've had to call them to schedule the install. Likely one of the single worst vendor experiences I have ever had. They had me come in and sign for the direction of the carpeting to be laid out and made a big deal about getting me to sign off on the exact way we preferred the carpeting. Somehow, they screwed that up and installed it the wrong way. The rep, Paul, apologized and said it was completely his fault and that it would be corrected. I suspect he delayed ordering the replacement thinking we would just accept it, because a couple MONTHS later the product they screwed up on, is no longer being made. That debacle is the tip of the iceberg as the installation was problematic as well. One of my daughters cut her foot because there was a staple left sticking up in the middle of the carpet. When the installer came to try and fix it, he spent a half hour messing around only to say he would have to PULL the carpet for it to be removed. He was alone and I guess expected us to move all of the furniture there? He came back and did remove the nail/staple, but did leave a nice little blemish on the carpeting where he had tried to pull it THROUGH the carpeting the first time. In my other daughter's room, apparently they did NOT realize the tack strips they used were not compatible with lower pile carpeting. That resulted in little nails being able to be felt. I get it that the edges are rarely touched, but the THRESHOLD area is absolutely 100% unacceptable. Side note there too, they had to attempt to fix it TWICE as the first time they left a couple sharp nails exposed and did not get them all. My daughter likes to play behind her bed, and her feet apparently got near the walls, and she received a nice little cut due to the nails still being partially exposed. BOTH of my children have received bodily injury as a result of the lack of attention to detail. There was also shoddy workmanship in the basement as the seam there was also attempted to be corrected TWICE too. Sad when the second person comes out and tells you it does look off and that it can be corrected. There again, it was eventually corrected, but had to ask them out twice. I also made the mistake of allowing them to carpet a home I was selling. Paul apparently had LOST the original measurements, and had to schedule another date and time to do it again. Would not be an issue if we were living there at the time, but we were not and had to schedule yet another date and time so he could do it again. At the time of installation at that house, I showed up to greet the men and let them in the house. So I am talking with the supervisor, and noticed the bathroom door was shut. I knocked and there was one of the installers there sitting on the throne relieving himself and doing his morning business. I was absolutely blown away that a worker would not only use a bathroom before asking, but decided to drop a bomb in my home. The real kicker is the fact the water was isolated and turned off in the home temporarily while an item was being fixed. So a worker decides to contaminate a customer's bathroom, unannounced no less, and then tries to blow it off. They also failed to reinstall the covers (3 of them) in one room, the closet slide guide in another room, and left the removed doors right in front of a toilet when they left. All in all a horrible experience that never seemed to get any better. The real kicker is that one of the suggested solutions to the problem is that they would credit me for the error in the room they screwed up, IF I decided to seek new carpeting from a real carpet store. They were saying how they would remove the old carpet, right before I had the new carpet from another company we selected. So not only would they not replace it with similar quality to what they ripped out, but he really did suggest that he would refund the cost of that room to their errors, IF I chose to replace it with another carpet from a different carpeting store?? IT even sounds insane when I write this but that is seriously what was suggested. read more

Great selection of carpeting but pricey and you'd think with higher cost you would expect excellent service but I set up instillation a month ago and then this morning I was given a call 30 minutes before they were supposed to be here saying the "entire crew" who was to install my carpeting called out sick. I don't buy it for a second, a bigger job came along and I got bumped. I took they day off from work to do this and now I have no carpeting and I will need to reschedule and take another day off from work. Unacceptable. read more

Even though Pelletier was not the least expensive price I received, I chose them because they were local and I thought they would have more control of the promises given. It took 3 weeks to complete 2 bedrooms, a hallway and a flight of stairs. They gave excuses of "the rug came in damaged" and "we made a misake in the measurement". The working crew came on the morning promised and tore up the old capet and mat, and installed the new mat. They promised to return the next day to install the carpet. When they didn't show up, and didn't call, I had to call them and they informed me that the carpet came in damaged and had to be reordered. After the carpet was reordered, they came to install it (approx. 1 and 1/2 weeks after the original date), and wasn't able to complete it because they didn't have enough carpet. A week later the rest of the carpet came in and the job was completed. Meanwhile, I was without the use of 2 bedrooms and had to put myself up in a hotel because the beds were dismantled and the furniture was grouped into 1 room. After many complaints, all I received was a "sometimes these things happen". All I can say is BEWARE. read more

When we decided to spend the extra money for a quality carpet and great customer service that was guaranteed by Pelletier Rug, we thought we had made a sound purchase with a quality company. We were wrong. It was more like a "oh god why oh why did I choose this Company!! The numerous errors, combined with awful customer service made my family shake their heads at the sheer disrespect Pelletier Rug showed customers who decided to spend over $2,000 with their company. The first day two men showed up to install, (three hours late of course) they informed me that they could not carpet half of the job, due to rain. Instead, they proceeded to carpet an entire room with the WRONG carpet! He told me it was a "warehouse error" and would need to travel to NH, and would be back later in the day.He never returned. 5 hours later I received a call from an unapologetic secretary at Pelletier. They would be back tomorrow around 8am. Two different men arrived at 11am the next day, and worked to correct the problem and carpet 2/3 of what needed to be carpeted, All the while repeatedly swearing obscenities. I could hear his rant and tirade two floors below. After this, I needed one more room carpeted. The day came and a man arrived around 2pm. He stated he felt sick and that it was "getting late" to do anything. He promptly left, while I wasted a day home from work. Another call from Pelletier office with same unapologetic tone as if this was perfectly acceptable. They would be back tomorrow at 8am she stated. One man arrives at 11am the next morning. He cannot even carry the carpet upstairs, and requires my help and another family member's help to do their job. It was not his fault, but he should not have been sent alone. Never again. I guess $2200 isn't worth anything to Pelletier, they treated us like idiots and that our time was meaningless. You lost a customer. read more
