He took our 50% deposit money only did one part of the work and then sent us a PayPal invoice for all of the work expecting to get more money! Then kept texting excuses and delays and then not showing up when he said he would. We had a deadline he agreed to from the outset since we had renters moving in but although he promised to come again and again he didn't. Although I pleaded with him over and over, he never showed up to do the work. I ended up losing a months rent for 2 apartments, a lot of stress and thousands of dollars lost as a result.

His workmanship was horrific and his communication skills were unprofessional , immature and rude. He attempted to renovate a small bathroom in our home and every aspect of his work, except the tile(which was done by a skilled subcontractor) was done poorly. The vanity was not leveled and was put in place crooked. The toilet crooked and leaking(had to be turned off),the shower doors put in backwards AND upside down, moldings not completed or too short and everything left messy and dirty. He was paid only because he harassed and threatened to come to the house and rip everything out if payment was not made. Before we left he told us he not only planned on building the stairs but basically completing the entire job! While we were gone we got consistent updates, pictures and videos of the progress. When we got back the job was 99% complete. He gave us time to figure out if there were any adjustments to make and took care of our requests. They do good work on an aggressive schedule. They completely removed the old asphalt, regraded the area, and installed a properly compacted and pitched base coat for excellent drainage. Two weeks later, they returned to apply the finished asphalt. Korpaczewski was the only contractor we met with that uses this two-coat system, and the difference in quality really shows. John and his crew were professional, courteous, efficient, and incredibly clean. They kept everything tidy throughout the project and even washed the street at the end of each day. Their equipment is impressive, too--our neighbors thought the whole street was being replaced! But went out opened the door and the estimator was running across the street. I said "Hi, I'm here." He jumped in his truck looked at me, and sat in his truck for about five minutes. I called him and he said I wasn't at the building as I stared at him and waved my arms in the air saying "I'm right here," and he said "he didn't have time to waste in his busy schedule," and drove off. I called the front desk to explain the strange behavior of their estimator Mike. and was told he had an hour to bid the job and didn't have anywhere else to be right at that moment. Fast forward five months and I call again to have an estimator come out, this time for Mini Split Heat Pumps. I spoke to the very professional lady at the front desk who told me it would be a two weeks to hear back from an estimator. I never heard back for three months. So I called again explaining I had never received a call back so she told me she would put it on the list. I called back three more times in two weeks because no one had called me back. The third time she put me immediately through to their main estimator, Good Ol' Mike. I said "hi my name is Evan." Mike Said "I know who you are and I'm never coming back to your house. You were late for our estimate the first time and I'm never coming back." He then told me that I told him that the reason I was late was because I was sick. I told him I never said that and never was sick. I've never had Covid, I just didn't answer the door immediately and you (Mike) ran away. He told me I was lieing and that "Mr. Godbout would back him up" and reiterated he would never step foot in my house. I told him don't worry about it and to have a good life. I don't know what is wrong with him. I don't know what he could reasonably have against me. But he just wasted many months of my life waiting to hear back from him for an estimate. It's clear now that he saw my address and didn't get back to me about my estimate initially because he holds some weird grudge against me. Honestly Ill never be using Godbout again because this guy is their point of contact for estimates and he is clearly unstable and I can't imagine why anyone would keep him as an employee. Everyone else I've ever spoken to there has been fine but Mike the Estimator is struggling with something.
