He took our 50% deposit money only did one part of the work and then sent us a PayPal invoice for all of the work expecting to get more money! Then kept texting excuses and delays and then not showing up when he said he would. We had a deadline he agreed to from the outset since we had renters moving in but although he promised to come again and again he didn't. Although I pleaded with him over and over, he never showed up to do the work. I ended up losing a months rent for 2 apartments, a lot of stress and thousands of dollars lost as a result.

His workmanship was horrific and his communication skills were unprofessional , immature and rude. He attempted to renovate a small bathroom in our home and every aspect of his work, except the tile(which was done by a skilled subcontractor) was done poorly. The vanity was not leveled and was put in place crooked. The toilet crooked and leaking(had to be turned off),the shower doors put in backwards AND upside down, moldings not completed or too short and everything left messy and dirty. He was paid only because he harassed and threatened to come to the house and rip everything out if payment was not made. I had to call the local police for advice in that there are renters living there. He is an unconscionable man. I will now have to pay double the amount to have another contractor repair the damage. Before we left he told us he not only planned on building the stairs but basically completing the entire job! While we were gone we got consistent updates, pictures and videos of the progress. After meeting with several…read morecontractors and reviewing their work, we chose Korpaczewski--and couldn't be more pleased with our decision. The quality of their work is exceptional. They completely removed the old asphalt, regraded the area, and installed a properly compacted and pitched base coat for excellent drainage. Two weeks later, they returned to apply the finished asphalt. Korpaczewski was the only contractor we met with that uses this two-coat system, and the difference in quality really shows. John and his crew were professional, courteous, efficient, and incredibly clean. They kept everything tidy throughout the project and even washed the street at the end of each day. Their equipment is impressive, too--our neighbors thought the whole street was being replaced! The workmanship is impeccable, the finished driveway looks fantastic, and their pricing was very reasonable. We highly recommend John and Korpaczewski Asphalt! They exceeded our expectations from start to finish.
