We couldn't be happier with our new driveway from Korpaczewski Asphalt! After meeting with several contractors and reviewing their work, we chose Korpaczewski--and couldn't be more pleased with our decision. The quality of their work is exceptional. They completely removed the old asphalt, regraded the area, and installed a properly compacted and pitched base coat for excellent drainage. Two weeks later, they returned to apply the finished asphalt. Korpaczewski was the only contractor we met with that uses this two-coat system, and the difference in quality really shows. John and his crew were professional, courteous, efficient, and incredibly clean. They kept everything tidy throughout the project and even washed the street at the end of each day. Their equipment is impressive, too--our neighbors thought the whole street was being replaced! The workmanship is impeccable, the finished driveway looks fantastic, and their pricing was very reasonable. We highly recommend John and Korpaczewski Asphalt! They exceeded our expectations from start to finish. read more

From the estimate meeting through the final coat of asphalt, working with Korpaczewski Asphalt was wonderful! Watching the "team" work was inspiring....efficient and fast. They are a friendly, professional and quality paving company. I highly recommend them! read more

John Korpaczewski came to look at our driveway for an estimate and explained that the spider cracks were not structural, but from earlier thick seal coating. Since we were hoping an old driveway would last for another 5-10 years, he reported that it didn't make sense to dig it up and install a new driveway. I've never written a review for work not done, but his honest approach was appreciated! read more

Our job was small, a new curb. But it had to be done correctly to prevent gutter overflow from entering our yard during big downpours. They fit us in with not much wait, were efficient and professional. They did a beautiful job and their design works! Our basement remains dry as a bone. Mary in South Portland read more

Korpaczewski Asphalt was an excellent choice to replace our old driveway. John and his crew quick, efficient and professional. I would highly recommend this company. read more

The Person who came out to estimate paving our driveway seamed arrogant and wasn't that interested in doing our driveway. Gave an estimate that was twice that of other contractors who had excellent reviews. read more

Called in April for a complete redo of my driveway. Guys finished yesterday and did a fantastic job. Incredibly professional and courteous all the way around. Driveway looks fantastic. Thank you! read more

My review is on the compassion of an employee. While walking my dogs, one of the employees, possibly the owner, drove by with a large truck. He could see my dog, who has PTSD was terrified. He cut the brake noise and creeped by us. I can't thank him enough the results could have been devastating had he not slowed down so much. read more

Korpaczewski & Sons Asphalt did a great job. Everything was completely professional from the estimate, removal of the old driveway and installation of the new driveway and walkways. We had our old concrete driveway torn up and removed. Korpaczewski was recommended by a builder to install the new asphalt. They did a great job and was very professional to work with. Fast forward to today and I contracted to have John do the final top coat of asphalt. Once again they did a fantastic job and their attention to detail was great. I would highly recommend John and his company to anybody needing new asphalt. read more

Korpaczewski did a great job of re-doing a driveway that was incorrectly installed with the wrong material and incorrect grading by another company. John's quote was fair, and the crew was always on time, worked quickly, and left everything clean. John and his crew were very professional. They chose the right materials, had the right equipment to do the job, and knew how to prepare the ground to ensure a usable driveway that was properly graded. I have another driveway that needs to be redone and I will call Korpaczewski back to do that job in the future. I highly recommend them. read more

Part one of the new driveway. John and his crew at Korpaczewski & Son Asphalt are very nice and looked to have done exactly what I asked. In a month the final coat goes on. No more water issues. What a mess before. How the former owners lived with a garage that filled up with water (ice in winter) I will never know. Here is their website - mainelypaving.com/. They were the only paving company to both call back, take my request seriously and provide a real solution to the water problem! Also the best value for the money hands down! I was impressed from the first meeting until well after the job was completed. John came and looked at my old driveway, made some helpful suggestions and still kept the estimate lower than two other companies. I was very happy with the work and professional manner in which it was done. I strongly recommend Korpaczewski & Sons for any paving you need done. read more

Terrible experience. We were undecided about sealcoating or repaving our driveway, so we got estimates for both. We were told sealcoating would buy us another 5 yrs before we would need to repave. We were hesitant due to the $1800 (EIGHTEEN HUNDRED DOLLAR) price tag, and also due to the fact that we were told by another company that sealcoating is a waste of money and we'd basically be "putting lipstick on a pig". However, we were assured by the owner that sealcoating is all we needed at this time. We had our driveway sealed in Oct and by May it was mostly worn away. I contacted the owner, who agreed to redo it at no cost. I followed up with him a month later and was told they'd complete the job by the end of summer. By the beginning of September I had reached out two more times, but never heard back. One of the more interesting things is one of his crew was actually the owner of the other company who told me he refused to sealcoat (lipstick on a pig) any driveways. My advice, go with another company. read more
