I called him this morning as we experienced some leakage on the porch addition which had been part of the original job. I was overwhelmed when I asked him if he could take a look at the problem and he showed up today, the same day I called! Dan discovered that the flashing adhesive had stiffened up causing a separation of some of the flashing from the roof and within 30 minutes he was done fixing it and gone! I have ever heard or witnessed such unprofessional, unsafe, and disruptive work. They covered my kitchen window without notifying me. They have a man on a roof above my bathroom window so I cannot use my bathroom with privacy, again, without making me aware this would happen. There is a man on the next door roof that is not using any kind of harness or safety equipment. Furthermore, I have heard the leader/boss scream at his employees now for an hour. He is constantly screaming at them for urgency but then screaming at them with corrections/frustration as soon as they do anything. They are making a truly inconsiderate and extreme amount of noise with their every action, even considering the fact that they're roofing. Slamming, dropping, dragging, screaming.

It doesn't seem plausible to me that it would be necessary for them to be there since the fire department would be too busy dealing with a fire to talk to them. I realize that going to a fire is far more exciting than meeting with a prospective client. These last minute cancellations have happened to me twice before with other companies I have made appointments with in the past year. It must be clearly understood by the managers of these companies that people often times have to take time off from work and deal with other inconveniences to meet with workmen and last minute cancellations are unacceptable. You only get one chance with me. Next time I will reschedule and purposely miss the appointment and let them know what it's like to have someone waste your time.

Due to the demolition required to build the stairs, we asked if they could begin that process when we left for an 8 day vacation in January. He agreed and after meetings to tighten up the design and engage his plumber we trusted our home to Gage and his team and left. Before we left he told us he not only planned on building the stairs but basically completing the entire job! While we were gone we got consistent updates, pictures and videos of the progress. When we got back the job was 99% complete. He gave us time to figure out if there were any adjustments to make and took care of our requests. They do good work on an aggressive schedule. But was quick to cash the deposit... Requested copy of contract emailed to me, and took 2 weeks to send paperwork... Noticed an omission in contract and he took another 3 weeks to send corrected contract, all the while said he would start the job and then never follow thru... Had to threaten we were going to contact a lawyer if no contract was forwarded. When they finally showed up, 9 weeks later, he had sub contracted the job to another party... I stopped to check progress and I was asked by the sub contractor for payment for previous jobs... Indicating the 3rd party didn't even know who he was working for... Never got any warranty paperwork... This was the second time I used them (shame on me but was hoping first time was a fluke). First time I used them, Bid the job in July and I indicated that needed work was urgent as I had an active leak, Staining on ceiling. I was assured they would be there in a timely manner ( most likely early September) When it came time for the work date they delayed 7 weeks... By then roof leak caused full failure of ceiling sheet rock.. causing me additional cost. Owner agreed to lessen $1000 but was still a major hassle. His saleman Curtis, is a salesman of broken promises... They could have at least sent a crew to replace the area of leak, a dormer, (as Curtis said they would) and then returned for main roof... Job sites were left a mess, nails in driveway (resulting in two flat tires) , workers left beverage cups, snack wraps and trash blowing around property. Despite having a construction trailer on site, they filled my trash barrels with construction waste... NO PRIDE.
