I am very shocked to see these bad reviews. Carolyn's Pools did great work and we got our dream pool! Construction started July of 2023 and was finished by September 2023! Any questions or concerns I had/still have... Carolyn is there to help! She is by far the sweetest most helpful person! John, Ariel, Richie, and the other works definitely know what they are doing! Not only were the prices very good, but they have many years of experience and a small town company. One of the main reasons why I went with Carolyn Pools is because they are like a family. Very surprised to see negative reviews. I was skeptical using them based on that. But, have since realized what a great pool company Carolyn operates. Which leads me to believe their were other factors involved with the customers. Carolyn has addressed all issues, always arrived as scheduled and were very helpful answering all questions pertaining to maintaining and operating the pool. The pool is gorgeous and we've had 0 issues. I know several people who have used bigger name pool companies who have major problems with installation and operation. WORST COMPANY I'VEI EVER ENCOUNTERED !!!!! Unreliable , rude, disrespectful! They take the phone off the hook because they've promise to come to Houses and don't come. Over two years to complete a pool. They lie, they don't answer you back for weeks, they promise you dates and then don't show with no call for WEEKS!!!!!!! when you show up To the office in person they tell you I'm not gonna answer and they have a line of angry people out the door. I just hung up with Carolyn Pools and I am so livid that I could just scream! I spoke with them last year after confirming that my inground pool liner needed replacement. I continued to have very informative phone calls with Carolyn about liner choice, work that may come up to budget for and when the job would be done. I was hoping for March or April weather permitted. I was excited to work with this company as my calls were so informative and I realized that I needed someone who really knows the ins and outs of maintaining my pool effiecently and economically. Boy was I WRONG!!! I was told to choose a liner design and I have been calling for the entire month of April, constantly leaving messages with no return call!! They even came and took my cover off a few weeks ago to measure....well today I got smart and called from a different phone line and guess what?? THEY ANSWEED!!!! After some stumbling about why I have not recieved a call back she finally says " we decided to NOT take on the job!"....WHAT!!!! Its now May 3rd and NOW I find out you are not going to take the job...I was shocked at the unprofessional way this was handled. I would still be waiting for them to call me and thinking that I was on their schedule to replace my liner!!! I was dumbfounded and quite honestly on the verge of tears. However that did not stop me from letting them know how unacceptable their process was....not returning my calls and choosing to not answer....thats like a child!!! WTH!!! There is a slight bend in the coping from another poor pool companys install pocess and they say that is the reason why! They didnt want to get involved! I have had two liners installed since the bend in the coping with no issue, the liner replacement is due to a tear in the bottom of the liner. All I got them to say was " we should have let you know"...YOU THINK????? I am so upset!! As I search for another pool liner company I see these reviews for the first time....I am going to be as vocal as I can about my expierence with this company!! BEWARE!! read more

Carolyn Pools is by far THE WORST company that we have ever dealt with. Carolyn will never answer the phone, she will not return phone calls from messages left, she will not return texts or emails. The communication is HORRIBLE. Our daughter and SIN had their pool started in April of 2021...for one entire year their backyard was just a big hole in the ground. They installed the liner this past May...the job is unfinished and it is almost July. It has caused my daughter and SIN such extreme stress! Do yourself a favor and DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. Called them due to a leak in our in ground pool since the previous owners used them to install it. Initially the owner(Carolyn) was very nice and through explaining the steps they will take to fix it. However, once work began, the workers demanded that we pay in cash and never once was a contract spoken about. I asked Carolyn specifically how long the entire process would take and she told me a few days. However the workers came whenever they felt like it over the course of 2 weeks without any notice. They Were extremely rude each time and made a complete mess of my property. Such as mixing cement in my grass(Which was ruined), laying uneven cement with their own footprints it in, and forgot to install some of the basic edging. When I called to complain, I was given the run around by Carolyn despite me sending pictures of the unacceptable work. She promised me she would send her crew back to fix, however the company started screening my calls and never returned to finish the project. I am writing this to the next person who thinks about using these company, stay away. They are crooks. read more

Terrible service. Show up when they want to. Should have caught on the first month we used them to clean and treat our pool. Opened the first weekend of May and spoke to Carolyn and set up weekly cleaning and treatment. Didn't see them again until I called them twice the week before Memorial Day weekend to get them to come back to clean and test levels. Carolyn told me they didn't come because they were too busy opening up other pools. Even though she told me someone would be here weekly. They didn't show up until Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. Same thing happened at the end of the season. They all the sudden stopped coming August 20th. I called September 18th to see if they were ever coming back. She said they were very busy closing pools and would try to have someone out in the next few days. I told her I would like someone to come that day or the latest tomorrow since the weather was beautiful. Someone came out the next day, and only tested the levels and treated the pool but did not clean it. Come the first week of October, I had to call them again on a Tuesday to see if anyone will come clean and treat the pool and Carolyn said someone would be here in the next couple days. Friday comes and nobody has been here. I call and Carolyn said someone would be here that day or the next. Shocker.... nobody came. Cancelling their spotty service and giving my money to a company that will show up. read more

Horrible quality and unacceptable customer service. Had our pool installed by Carolyn Pools. 5 years ago and have had issues ever since: Pipes from filter to pool was not done correctly. They had to dig them up AFTER the concrete patio was already poured. Still having issues with the ground settling because of this dig. For two years I complained of a pool leak. They finally agreed to send out a diver to look for a leak. Turns out the jets on the stairs were never tightened. They fixed this with EPOXY! Because of the pool leaking, the ground underneath has undermined and the liner is now stressed and there are large pockets where the ground has moved. They agreed this was because of the leak and that they would fix it. Last fall they came out and closed the pool - didn't fix it then. This spring they opened the pool - didn't fix it then either. I have been calling them for two weeks with NO CALL BACK. Yesterday I called and like every day before, got pushed to answering machine. I immediately called back using a friends phone, AND THEY ANSWERED! They have been screening my calls this whole time. Why can't they atleast have the courtesy to pick up the phone and talk to me? They still couldn't give me a date and time to fix the liner. Now seeking legal counsel. I could call another pool installer, but this shouldn't cost me anything to fix. Do yourself a favor - think twice about using Carolyn pools for your pool installation and service. We are extremely frustrated. read more
