The initial exam was extremely brief, with no clear explanation, no X-rays shown, and no introductions -- we didn't know who was the dentist or assistant. During the deep cleaning, a hygienist/assistant administered anesthesia and did the entire procedure without the dentist present or supervising. The dentist only appeared afterward, did not introduce herself, and gave no post-procedure guidance. I had to ask basic questions about care and eating afterward. Later, we were told additional fillings were required, which were never mentioned during the visit. Billing seemed excessive. When we raised concerns, the dentist adamantly insisted everything was done correctly, dismissed our questions, and offered no apology or acknowledgment. The receptionist was also unprofessional and dismissive when asked about billing. The clinic later refused to continue care rather than address the issues. Overall, this experience demonstrated arrogance, lack of transparency, and disregard for patient communication and rights.

So first visit Ashley was awesome with my periodontal cleaning ( I get those 4x per year) She was gentle, knowledgeable, kind, professional and efficient! I met my dentist, Matt and asked about a couple crowns. He assured he could do it and today he did, with the assistance of Mia! I believe it was the smoothest crown work I've ever had. I never even felt a needle go in for the numbing. I had a particularly difficult kind of old crown to take off but he was completely confident and I felt very comfortable the whole time. Ashley, Mia, and Matt were very attentive to my neck problems and made sure I was comfortable through both those procedures. The facility itself is just gorgeous. There is a grand of coffee in the lobby. Plus water. Lobby comfy, roomy, and well furnished. Receptionists, check out staff, everyone professional and kind. I am thrilled to have found my dental care providers! Parking is at a premium, but a few more yards to walk is not a big deal!

The first dentist I saw said I have a filling that needed to be replaced. I got that done, and everything was ok, except it was difficult to floss with the new filling. The next time I started having sharp pains in a tooth, and pointed to the tooth I thought was causing the issue. This dentist said no, it was the tooth behind it that needed a filling. My pain did not go away at all after that filling, and they came up with a list of future procedures that they said I needed to get done. I decided I did not want to go back. I found a new dentist that is covered by my insurance. I went in today for my first appointment, and the dentist showed me a picture of a crack in the tooth that I had originally pointed out at Triangle Family Dentistry and didn't mention anything else I needed to get done. I really feel that TFD was trying to set me up for spending money on procedures that I didn't need, and didn't take care of the issue that I did have, that I pointed out to them.

I had a major surgery coming up and I needed to have my dental issues clear before the surgery. A male Spanish speaking dentist worked on them, at the very same moment he installed the first bridge I told him that it didn't feel right, the owner of the place came and worked on it for a few minutes assuring me that after a few days it would feel fine, that I needed to get used to it. on the second bridge he installed a provisory one. I called a few days later and send many emails saying that the bridge he installed didn't feel right, that food was getting stuck and shape was not matching the rest of my molar structure, the color was way off compared to the rest of the teeth and I had a sensation when chewing. They ignore my messages for a long time. When they finally responded, they did so with the assumption that I was going there to pay for the one that I had the temporary tooth worked on. I told them that I needed the one that was given me issues fixed. They said in an email that I needed to pay for the temporary bridge over $5000 in order for them to fix what they did wrong. In January a few months after my surgery, I responded saying that I only wanted them to fix what they did wrong with my bridge, basically I wouldn't allow them to work on my mouth on the other bridge. They were only thinking on the money without any regard for my health, they were upset because I complained that the bridge they installed was a mess. And kept saying that it was me that I didn't like it. I told them that is not about like or not liking it, I complained because they did a terrible job with it, and to this date is causing lots of issues and discomfort. Then they send me a message saying that they didn't want me in their office again and saying that they will not send me to collection for a balance due on my account (I don't owe them anything, I paid a lot of money for the bridge they messed up). unless they also charge to answer emails. I am very upset and disappointed with Stapleton Dentistry of Cary. There are some good office staff also. I went to Royal Oak Dental yesterday to have a temporary crown removed and a new crown put in place. The person that was to remove the temp crown started working on me but it was painful and I didn't know what to expect . This person was tugging at pullng the temp crown off pulled back with the instrument she was using and cut my lip she was not aware she did that until she saw the blood. I didn't have trust in her after that. Treat a patient like a person not a machine. I eventually had a numbing agent . Dr Smith is very clever and I believe he is good at what he does. He finally came along and gave me a perfunctory one liner that could infer I was responsible for this injury. He did what he had to do with the crown and stated he would come back when I had numerous xrays. Dr Smith never came back he must have got too busy.

His name is Landon Guy and he is the epitome of what all current and future dentists should strive for. He is knowledgeable, enthusiastic, kind, highly-skilled, creative, not at all condescending. He explains everything he's going to do before he does it. When he makes a suggestion for treatment, he always asks for my input. And he listens to my opinion. And he has a great sense of humor, which is always a bonus! My dental appointment anxiety is just about non-existent due to Landon's expertise. When he graduates, I fully expect to continue as his patient wherever he begins to practice.

The dental hygienist was so sweet and talkative I felt like asking for her number to have coffee sometime lol. She was so kind and genuine. The dentist Dr. Ghai was equally personable and so down to earth. I did have to come back for a small cavity and my second visit was just as welcoming as the first. Dr. Ghai was very thorough in explaining each step of the process. She seems to really care for her patients as well as her employees. I'm so happy to have found this place!

They simply repeated that the full amount was required. I called multiple oral surgeons in Cary/Raleigh afterward, and every single one quoted around $130 for the entire consultation, including X‑rays. I think this place is Overpriced, and charge way too much and no transparency in pricing. I think their charging/billing practices should be reviewed. This office's pricing is far outside the local norm, and the lack of transparency is unacceptable. I would strongly recommend asking for a full cost breakdown before agreeing to anything here.
