I went to the another shop, one recommended to me for their integrity, who stated they would look for free and fix whatever they found. Turns out, there was no leak in the first place, and that the dripping had other explanations not requiring any expensive intervention. Chapel Hill Tire has lost my trust. Do not give these fearmongerers and scammers your business. Their shiny new interior is paid for by your dollars, once they scare you into paying for things you don't need. If anything, get a second opinion and a quote from another place.

Service person was very good (although they really try to exploit the hydroplaning fear to get you to buy tires). The price for the tires seems to be ok for what I got but that remains to be seen. However, I am not sure why they blare country music in the waiting area for their customers. I am open to all genres of music, but it was excruciating! Is this for the installers in the installation area? A corporate mandate? Sedate everyone by putting on some smooth jazz and be done with it.

Because I was in a rush and wanted to get this tire fixed as soon as possible, I dropped in to a local Pep Boys and asked them to take a look at the tire. They told me that I had two nails in my tire that were too close together and my tire couldn't be patched, offering me information on a new tire I could buy. I was a little suspicious about this, so I took my car to Lloyd Tire. They patched the tire in 30 minutes for $30. Lloyd Tire has always treated me well. I look forward to bringing my business there in the future.

They initiate communication with the customer to keep you informed what service is needed with your car. They print out exactly what was serviced on your car and give you information on what may be needed on your vehicle and a safe time frame to get it serviced.
