Only one register and associate for a store tat large on a Friday afternoon in Spring seems a little nuts but that's today's world I guess. The store always seems a little messy at least on the first floor. The second seems to be a little better organized at least in the golf section. The pricing is like all others. Ya Gotta Pay to Play. So pay I do. I do appreciate their rewards program. I love a good reward or coupon. Keeping the husband up in cute golf clothes and making sure he has his favorite balls to smack in the face= Happy husband which= Happy wife. It works both ways.

Once you find the style you like, now you get to find a sales person who goes into the back and hunts for your size. We're not fans of this technique. And the prices are significantly higher than online. The convenience of having it "now" isn't worth it to me. No, Dick's isn't selling guns any more. A bummer as I didn't have much to look at while my wife was looking at shoes. [Review 2041 of 2024 - 3743 in North Carolina - 23061 overall]

My son rode the bike we purchased 2 times before the whole crank and chain bent into the spokes of the wheel. He didn't even get a good 6 months out of it. And then the managers act like they don't know how to get in touch with the manufacturer for a bike that's currently being sold in the store. After over 30 minutes, I told one of the employees I had to leave. She replied that Kim, the person who pulled the order was coming out now to get it. Well where was she 15 minutes ago?!? And how could she walk right in and find it when 3 others had searched and not found it! Very disorganized store and I am very disappointed in the lack of response and care from the staff. All except the young man at the front who was friendly and apologetic that I had to wait all that time. I think his name was Jacob.

Ninety minutes before I had to check for my flight, I visited the Park Road store with my empty roller bag. The store had good selections and Caroline, my favorite staffer, stepped up to work her magic . After an intensive hour of sorting options, I had a stellar collection of nicely fitting gear from head to toe. Our selections worked great for my winter trip and I'm still enjoying my gear. Heartfelt kudos to Caroline and the entire team at Great Outdoor Provisions. I can't imagine any other place in Charlotte where pro staff would gear me up with humor and brisk purpose. Thanks for making my crazy shopping surge, fast, fun, friendly and laser focused. With warm appreciation, Lee
