From basic treatments and checkups to their 24/hour on call services, we've been extremely satisfied in every way. First on Dr. Beth and Jessel. They are both extraordinary and I'm never concerned getting scheduled with either one. They are knowledgable, caring, sensitive and sweet with our kids and bring that same level of care when you have to call them at 3 am with a screaming baby. I get the sense Jessel may be more experienced, but it honestly hasn't mattered who we see. But I suppose for a really serious matter that's who I'd want to talk to. The staff at the office is also great. I've gotten great over the phone help from nurses and even the crew behind the desk is very nice. And overall the office is cheery and nicely decorated. Finally, when my wife gave birth to our second, we never got to St. Peter's hospital where they have rounds and instead had to go to RWJ in Somerville. Even though they couldn't go into the hospital to see us, we got fabulous support from Dr. Jessel when the baby was having some difficulties. She was available on the phone, super supportive and provided our baby wonderful care. Can you tell we love them? My wife and I say that nearly every time we leave.

Dr. Jessel now has her own practice in a beautiful new office in Bridgewater (by the Bridgewater Mall). Her calm demeanor, professionalism and knowledge of pediatric medicine are excellent. She has worked with us very closely through medical issues with our second child and gives us the comfort of knowing we are getting the best care possible for our children. She is extremely responsive and always makes us feel like our concerns are important. We recommend her highly to anyone looking for a pediatrician as an expecting parent, parents who are new to the area or are looking for a new doctor for their children. Finally, I love the patient portal which allows me to see my children's upcoming appointments, check in for an appointment, see their medical history, request a refill and send questions directly to Dr. Jessel. We are extremely happy with the care our children receive from Dr. Jessel.

She answered all of my questions and gave my great advice. Her bedside manner is amazing. She is very professional and very compassionate with my baby. I am extremely lucky to have Dr. Satwani as my baby's Pediatrician. In addition, all the nurses were extremely friendly and professional with my baby. Love the Edison practice. The nurses did not know how to follow the vaccine routine made for kids which led to them giving wrong vaccines and neither the parents or any higher authorities were informed of the mistakes even after the manager found out about these incidents. In addition, some of the nurses fail to understand simple blood reports and make decisions based on them. Their negligence has caused many kids to get sick.

She is kind, knowledgeable and friendly to talk to. She has always been spot on with her diagnosis, with the medications and we have always had a hassle free experience scheduling our appointments or even when we had to see a doctor on emergency. The other doctors Dr Patel and Dr Edelman are also great at what they do. The facility is clean and well maintained and their parking space is quite ample.

That is more of a personal preference. I like Dr. Gavai, a knowledgeable and nurturing mom-like doctor and Dr. Edelman, a knowledgeable and articulate doctor. Dr. Edelman takes his time to explain and answer all questions. Dr. Gavai asks questions (especially if a new mom) about mom's health too. When I make well visit appts I request one of those two doctors. For sick visits, I see any of the doctors available. They are all thorough. The nurses are great. They're quick with shots. They call back when I leave a message with a question or a request for a refill. My only complaint is there is some turn around with the receptionists. There are three that have been there for years. Marisol is the best! And then there's the new addition who needs some training on customer service. She's horrible and I intend to inform the doctors next time I visit. I have visited the East Brunswick office on weekends or for sick appts. That office, like the Highland Park office, is older. I do expect a pediatricians to have more of a spic and span feel. Not that they are dirty, they are just old offices. The one star deduction is for the inconsistent receptionist service (minus Marisol bc I can't say enough good things about her) and the need for an update to the waiting areas.

We have been going there for the last 9 years, and they have always been there for us. During Covid when other pediatricians offices were sending their patients to CVS and urgent care centers, the Ped Center was open, standing out in the cold to see all the children AND their families. They are there whenever I have needed them, and I have been there on almost every holiday. I have never been told no, or there is no time for my child. I was hugged and supported as my son was taken out of the office via ambulance at one of our worst moments. Romelia, the nurse practitioner called to check on me in the following days, which is rare these days. Nurse practitioner Clare McKegney has never judged or laughed at any silly questions I have. Dr Moskowitz spent many visits explaining how best to help my child, helping him to avoid the hospital, and ensuring we are making the best choices for him. I know a lot of the staff by name, and they are always kind and caring. Dr Chin, Dr Visci have always been so helpful and caring. They speak to the child, and not just the parents. This is a much deserved but overdue review to this amazing hospital. I just moved to NJ a couple of…read moremonths ago and looking for services, I was looking for a place that had: therapies, doctors and affordable. Finding this place helped relieve a lot of the stress and I found everything I was looking for. I have to be honest, at first the application process was confusing and just speaking to so many employees over the phone was frustrating just because every person I talked to was referring me to the wrong person until I called my county office and as a lucky strike the person that assisted me at the county personally knew Jennifer at this hospital. I called and let me tell you, Jennifer was not only apologetic but empathetic and took my application and processed it in 3 days instead of 2 months. My child was schedule for their assessment and approved for full services. Most of the employees are friendly and warm. Of course like in any place you always find that one person who has an attitude but I won't let that lower my 5 star rating. They have other facilities but driving to mountainside from elizabeth is so worth it just because the location is beautiful and in a nice area. They accept most insurances except for Aetna. I found out that Aetna doesn't cover this hospital either. If you are just starting the process of application just be patient, the wait can be long but it is worth it. I am happy that NJ has such a great hospital, where kids with special needs can be comfortable and no one gives you an uncomfortable stare. They also offer swimming, martial arts and social group activities. The waiting list is long to get into any of their activities but parents love each group since the activities are tailored for each child's needs.

Alex did all our paperwork to set us up, and she did a great job staying on top of things and calling us when we were approved in the system so we knew we could set up our first appointments. We've been for covid tests, general check ups, and ENT specialty referrals - we can't say enough great things about the staff there. Some things to note now: When you arrive, you need to call them when you're in the lobby of the building- you're not allowed to be in the lobby of their actual doctor office. Covid tests are done in a completely separate area than the Dr. office. Results for those tests are available within about 15 minutes - after a covid test, you have to wait in the lobby until results are provided before you can proceed with the rest of your dr. apt. Overall - very happy for our switch and for the support this office provides!
