So far I have loved this practice. I live closest to the Sandhill location so I ask for appointments there and have seen a variety of doctors for my 18 month old who has been seen since he was discharged from the NICU. The doctors have spent time explaining various things to me and I never felt like they were rushing my son out the door. I have utilized the nurses line more than I'd like to admit and they are always prompt with returning my calls. We are seen timely and have never had an issue getting an appointment. Before I begin, I feel it is important to note that my review mainly reflects Hunterdon Pediatrics as an organization and not the doctors themselves. I would leave a review on a specific doctor if I had a compliment or negative feedback, as there are many, and my experiences with them have varied. I do not find it fair to generalize them all into one one review, as they are very different from each other. My children have been seen at Hunterdon Pediatrics since my first son was born in 2006. I was seen there myself as a child so I chose them out of familiarity. Over the years I have had many bad experiences with this office. They have made numerous scheduling errors over the years that have caused great inconveniences on many occasions. The receptionists are usually not very friendly, with the time to time exception. Every visit they give you a paper to sign verifying all of your child's information, such as address, phone number, etc., are correct, and whenever I do make a revision it is almost never correctly updated the next time I come in. There was a time when they were so over booked that I would call for a sick appointment and they would tell me that they could not even see me that day to call back the next day... When your child has a 104 degree fever, with an ear infection, and in the lot of pain, that is not something any parent wants to hear. I used to be left waiting for almost 45 minutes to an hour but I have noticed recently the wait time has gotten much better. Overall, Hunterdon Pediatrics is poorly managed and need to have a complete overhaul on there reception department. I have had some positive and some negative experiences with the doctors, but the most important lesson that I have learned over the past 8 years is that anything which is not basic care, I take my children somewhere else. read more

On-call nurse doesn't give a crap about your child or anything and we'll ignore the majority of the calls they said they'll get back to me as soon as possible but it'll be at their earliest convenience so be prepared to either not receive a call back or be waiting for hours read more

We left this practice after a particularly bad incident with their reception desk. I showed up on time for my son's 2-week checkup. I then stood behind the person in front of me as the woman at the front desk was reminiscing about being a twin and how her mother used to handle her and her twin. This went on for 10-15 mins. When she finally got to me, she said "I know that you've been waiting there for awhile, but it's now well past your appointment time and you will need to reschedule." I had a new baby, was there with him and my 2-year old, and I left in tears. I told her we would not be rescheduling, and we have gone to Yardley Pediatrics ever since. I will start off saying that I am a fan of my son's doctor, which is why we use Hunterdon Pediatric Associates. They also have extended hours which is very convenient. Unfortunately however, since the doctors move from office to office, it makes it difficult for the scheduling staff to keep up. We were given a sick appointment with our regular doctor and they failed to mention that it was located at another office 20 minutes away. When I showed up to the appointment at the office we always see him in, they said there was nothing that could be done because it was a "mistake" and we had to reschedule. They do however have a $25 missed appointment fee for when parents make a mistake. I have talked to others and this is apparently a regular occurrence. I advise you to always double check which office your appointment is at. read more

First of all...Both my kids come here. The staff is awesome and for those in these reviews bashing the front end, How would you like to deal with all of you? Reception has to be one of the most trying jobs especially with neurotic parents and sick kids. I'm just glad they come in and book our appointments. I also noticed that several people were not even from the area and to you, I suggest you go to the Dr's in your towns and stop using facilities meant for people that live in the community they serve. It took me a bit to find my sweet spot with care providers here but that's the beauty of this practice there are many providers to choose from. We have several that we see without any concern with regard to continuity of care. read more

Constantly disappointed in this office. The phone waiting times are ridiculous. They never show courtesy or respect. One time they made me go home since I was 10 minutes late with a newborn and toddler and I had called them on the way and they said it was okay to come in!? They are the only office to have such a stupid 15 minute rule and I come from a family of physicians. One time a physician scolded me for splitting up the vaccine schedule. And most recently the office heard my son crying over the phone since I wanted to come in for an urgent appointment. The receptionist said there was not 3:40pm appointment anymore while she was making it and then I called back and it magically existed again. Inefficient, useless office. They are rude, incompetent and should not be the ones taking care of our children which is why I am finally switching offices! read more

Worse place At Flemington, as I recently moved to this Location from Bergengen County. I have to say the town is Amazing, but I have No idea How this Company has moved here .they could be making things easier as they have an army of Doctors ( pedestrians ) to choose from, that was my first attraction to this Company and I trusted them my toddler and my 3 year old son. On our First visit this happens... first they make your kid get in a pajamas that are for medical purposes only as they look like they are on a hospital but they not, the room was cold on a cold day 57 out side and 68 inside may not seen cold but when you have an toddler naked with Hospital pajamas that concert me plus the time Spend in that room more than one Hour plz don't take me for a Fool, anyways my kid was ok only regular check out and the waiting time is crazy it took the doctor 30 min to come and see my kid while they are in those pajamas in a cold room they can only see one kid at the time even if you have your two kids with you One kid for appointment Hahahaha!!! It's a global pandemic. My baby is under age 2, and thus not supposed to or able to wear a mask as per CDC guidelines. We also live with a severely, immunocompromised grandparent and are thus being especially cautious. I asked (begged!) Hunterdon Pediatrics twice to provide my daughter's regular vaccines through a drive-up or outdoor visit. Many pediatric groups are doing this across the country. They refused. In order to get her vaccines, I literally have to bring my child unmasked into a busy office. There were about 10 people in the waiting room when we last went - no crowd control or letting people wait outside. Very upset by a medical organization not taking account of the latest medical evidence (i.e., COVID-19 can be airborne for up to 3 hours just from breathing) and adjusting practices as a result. Patient safety should be the #1 priority. I am trying desperately to find a more reasonable pediatrician in the area. read more

Do not like this doctor office. As a new mother I had some concerns about giving my 2 month old daughter several vaccines on the same day. The doctor spoke to me with a condescending and even angry tone. I was made to feel like I was inferior and that I had no right to even have brought the subject up. I am a physician and I would NOT recommend this place for any child. My daughter's leg was injured because the RN did not use the correct needle while administering her shots. She was limping for months and developed a serious bruise. The nurses technique and skills were extremely poor. She refused to acknowledge her fault when they were pointed out to her. read more

Never have I dealt with such arrogant, rude and unprofessional people including the doctors! They were not even competent to fill out a universal health care form for our son. I have heard numerous BAD reports about how terrible they are. This practice is an abomination and should be shut down. We have been going to Hunterdon Pediatrics since 2008. We had one bad visit with a doctor we were not familiar with over about 25 visits total. We could not get a same day sick visit once. The doctors are fabulous, Corragio is our favorite, but we like Braf and a few others. The nurses always give great advice. Billing is accurate, helpful and responsive. You may have to wait a day but you are dealing with people not robots. We have never had a bad diagnosis and we have gone to Clinton and Sand Hill for the majority of our visits. We will miss them when our child grows up. read more

I have been using HPA for 13 years and have been pleased with service I've received, especially in the Sand Hill office. (The Clinton office wait time was horrible several years ago but seems to have improved-not a big fan of one of the doctors there.) The wait time isn't too bad and when the doctor is in with my children, he takes his time and really seems to listen. We have been going to the same doctor for several years now and he really knows my children even though we are typically only in once or twice a year. I highly recommend the Sand Hill office. read more

This review is for one of the most fabulous Nurses I have ever met! Lorraine, in the Sand Hill office exceeded ALL my expectations yesterday, when my daughter's benign, 9 year old check-up, turned into "DEFCON 5", because she needed to have blood drawn. I don't know why she got so nervous, but her near anxiety-attack that occurred in the office, left me frustrated and ready to leave without having it done. Lorraine was incredibly calm, patient, and caring!!! (Even though I'm sure we put her WAY behind schedule, because it took a while to calm my daughter down). She treated my daughter as if she was the only patient in the entire office, and showed her cat video's, and pictures on her phone, to try and distract her! She even went out of her way to tie the plastic band around her arm, with something soft under it, to make my daughter more comfortable. **Most importantly, she was extremely proficient in blood draws, got it on the first try, and my daughter didn't feel anything!!! I thank her from the bottom of my heart, for having the patience and skill, to turn a rough situation into a success! read more

I agree with D.M's comment. Front office staff at Sandhill office are really terrible. They feel like, why did these guys came now to disturb us. Also they don't give any attention, they keep talking internally to other staff. Today we were 5min late and the front office was taking co-pay payment and the nurse came and showing her face as why did you accept this appointment. and then when I took my son inside, she didn't even read the chart or checked my son for any temperature or vitals. She was asking me, why did you bring him today, I said it is a follow up visit after we went to the emergency on sunday. next question, what did they diagnose in emergency? It is there on the report sent by the emergency. She says, no we don't have any reports. I asked, if you don't have reports, they who called me from here for scheduling a followup appointment. Then she didn't answer and later she is saying, we can see the report. If she don't feel like working, she should take off and go home, not show this kind of attitude towards the parents of the sick kid. But the doctors and other nurses were good. read more
