Dr. Falco was nice, cleaned out my ears each appointment but only prescribed me ear drops that did not work. At the second appointment, he didn't really know what else to do so I switched to see Dr. Van Buren. Van Buren was the worst doctor I've seen in 15 years. Bad attitude and wouldn't help me. When I described how intense the itching was and that I couldn't help it, he told me he can prescribe anxiety medication....so let me get this straight. Instead of fixing the problem , you want me to mask the symptom and just take anxiety medication? Unbelievable. I've never been more angry in a split second than that. Completely dismissive and rude. The second appointment I had with him, he didn't clean my ears, spent 5 minutes with me and told me to keep using the ear drops that haven't been working. $100 for that appointment for him to do NOTHING. I asked what he thought was going on since no one had told me. He said he thinks it's eczema and that he sees thousands of patients with this every year so I should listen to him. Yet what he's been doing hasn't helped me at all. What a quack. Completely incompetent. I was done with that pathetic excuse of a doctor and clinic then scheduled with Spokane ENT in downtown. The doctor at the downtown location was wonderful. Prescribed me a medication that helped then gave me a referral to an allergist who was able to completely get rid of the eczema. After 1 appointment. Do better Van Buren. If you hate your job this much then leave. I actively tell people to stay away from you and this practice.

In my book Bryan Mclelland is a 5 Star Oral Surgeon…read more Earlier this year my wife had implants surgically inserted. It first involved grafting bone to her jaw to hold the implants in place; a couple months later the implants were surgically inserted into her jaw. Bryan Mclelland performed the surgery. His nurse and assistants are pretty incredible as they assisted during the surgery. The implants fit perfectly and everything went great! My personal experience was equally as good. My dentist referred me to Bryan because it looked like I had a small crack in one of my teeth. He thought it should be pulled. After looking at the Xray Bryan suggested we watch it for six to twelve months and then determine if it needed to be pulled. It's refreshing to hear that I could just wait and see what happens, I might never need to have it pulled. I felt like Bryan really cares about his patients, its not all about the money! I can't believe anybody would give Bryan anything less than 5 stars! - Richard Brantley, Spokane Valley

I Dr. McLelland!…read more I'm so pleased with he & his staff, you better pack a lunch for this one! I went in, scared to death about needing oral surgery, and I came out with this five-star review! Dr. McLelland was the third oral surgeon I had gone to after meeting 2 doctors in CDA who I just wasn't feeling: I liked the doctor but not the front office and vice versa. With Liberty Oral Surgery, I loved both. Let's start with Dr. McLelland. In a word: fantastic! He has such a great bedside manner and inspired confidence that put me at ease instantly. I was extremely apprehensive about having a tooth pulled and an implant installed but he put all my fears to rest. He listened to my concerns and clearly explained my care plan. He's also just a super nice guy who takes pride in what he does. The day of my both surgeries, I was greeted by his fabulous staff who were efficient and friendly and put me at ease: Briget, Denise, Megan, & Katie. Dr. McLelland explained my post-op instructions for successful results and they have been! He also called after each surgery to check on me. Who even does that anymore?! At my follow-up appointments, I had the pleasure of meeting Cliff & Staci, who both went out of their way to put me at ease about my progress. His front office is also awesome. Terri, the Finance Manager, was approachable and walked me through a cost breakdown. She clearly explained where my benefits would apply and was timely in terms of submitting my claim. I loved that there were no surprises when all was said & done. I live in CDA and Liberty Oral Surgery is in Post Falls. Not a huge distance but 100% worth the drive. I recommend Dr. McLelland 110% to anyone who needs an extraction or an implant.

I trusted Dr. Morimoto to redo my breast augmentation. My first surgery had been done 15 years…read moreearlier in Florida by Dr. Messa, and I was ready to go a size bigger. I knew I wanted silicone implants, fullness at the top, and for them to sit close together--just like they were before nursing my kids. Dr. Morimoto seemed confident in her ability, and after waiting and saving for years, I was excited. After surgery, I couldn't wait to see the results. But when I was finally allowed to unwrap them, I was heartbroken. They didn't look any bigger than before, and I knew they were still swollen. My right breast was also black and blue. I called the office, and Dr. Morimoto told me she could redo them--for almost another $5,000. I felt stuck. If I went somewhere else, I'd have to pay the full price all over again. At the time, I was actively competing in bodybuilding, and most other doctors wouldn't even see me for at least six months to allow for healing. Dr. Morimoto said it would be better to go back in quickly, before scar tissue formed. After several conversations, I agreed to have her redo them and paid the additional $2,800 we had agreed upon. But on the morning of the surgery, I got an email from her office saying I wouldn't be happy with the outcome. I panicked. Just hours before surgery, I spoke with Dr. Morimoto again, expressing all of my concerns and asking why I received that message. She reassured both me and my husband, swearing she understood what I wanted and could deliver those results. I went through with the second surgery--and I wish I never had. Yes, they were bigger. But they were heavy and saggy, and I ended up with stretch marks near my armpits. My breasts looked like "rocks in a sock." My nipples pointed in different directions, and I felt like Sid from Ice Age. I even had a nightmare about it. I know that may sound silly, but I had put so much time, money, and effort into my body. I was devastated. My husband was so kind through all of it. We scheduled a video consult with Dr. Messa--the same surgeon who did my original procedure in Florida. I had wanted to go back to him in the first place, but traveling for surgery was difficult and expensive. After many conversations with my husband, we decided it was worth it. I flew to Florida for surgery, and the difference was unbelievable. My results are beautiful. I had hardly any swelling, and the healing process was night and day compared to what I went through before. Even my husband said, "Wow--what a huge difference." I have gone back and forth about writing a review here but after giving it much thought, have…read moredecided that letting others know about my experience is ultimately a good thing. Two years ago, I purchased a Groupon for Tumescent Liposuction on two areas at Aesthetic Rejuvenation by Dr. Brecht for my upper arms. I want to preface this review with the fact that Dr. Brecht did say at my consultation that a lot of the "fat" on my upper arms was actually just loose skin and indicated that I may need something more like an arm lift, where the hanging skin is removed. All of my pre-op appointments with Dr. Brecht and her team were fine. I found them to be accommodating and more than willing to answer any of my questions. The ambiance of the office is quite relaxing too. My surgery was on November 5, 2015. I began to notice that something was wrong a few days after my surgery. For some reason, my left arm was tremendously more painful than my right and the two of them even looked different. My left arm looked as though there were stitches right above my armpit. There was dried blood. I truly, truly felt as though something had gone wrong with my left arm (and I still feel that way).  Worried, I called the office a few weeks later and Dr. Brecht called me back personally. She indicated that there were no stitches and that it was normal for one side of the body to heal better than the other, that since I am left handed that may be why that side is hurting more than the other, that you cannot begin to see your final results until at least 3 months into the healing process. She said that nothing had gone wrong during the procedure. At my first post-op appointment on November 21, 2015, I mentioned to Dr. Brecht again that my left arm looked considerably different than my right. Again, she said that it is normal for the arm to look like that and that I shouldn't worry until 3 months post-op. At my second post-op appointment on January 9, 2016, I mentioned the issue with my arm again to Dr. Brecht. We were just over the 3-month mark and I was still concerned. Her answer was that I shouldn't be concerned until 3 months post-op. I was a little concerned that she said that, as 1) we were past the 3-month mark, and 2) how did she not know that? When I told her we were past that mark, she opened my chart, was quiet for a minute, looked up and said it was 6 months that I should wait. So. Here I am. Two years later. Still concerned. Still wishing I knew what went wrong with my left arm that day. As Dr. Brecht had mentioned, the procedure did not remove the loose skin and I am okay with that. Despite the bit of loose skin, I am very pleased with the results of my right arm. However, running my hand over my left forearm, you can feel actual indents, as though some of the muscle was sucked out somehow. You can see these indentations if you look at my arm. There is a deep line down my arm, as though I was cut and it is scarred. The color of my skin on my left arm is even weird.  I lost faith in Dr. Brecht the day she told me at my 3-month appointment that it was normal for my arm to look like that until 3 months post-op. I did not go back. I would not recommend others for this type of procedure. Her unwillingness to recognize that something looked off on my left arm shows that she does not truly care about her patients. ‌

Surgery date: July 2nd, 2020…read more So the world started falling apart around us, and I had this "a-ha!" Moment where I decided I was finally going to get a breast augmentation. I'm 25 for some background- and had my first child at 19. Breastfeeding in combo with my fluctuating weight really did a number on my breasts- something that made me self conscious for years. One thing you've got to know is that the breast augs aren't performed with general anesthesia and in a lot of ways it is better that way. Dr. B used a numbing "breast block" in combination with some medication for pain/relaxation (I don't remember what they were but I had already showed up dosed up, that by the time I arrived to my surgery day, I felt like I was walking on clouds lol) so the other meds were for further relaxation and rightfully so. Even though I couldn't feel pain, only pressure from the implants, I got a little squirmy. I've seen reviews about people complaining about getting cuffed to the bed by their wrists, but as it is an AWAKE procedure, it's for everyone's best interests. I was, during the operation, consumed with emotion, but was comforted and told that I'm looking great and I'm in good hands. My emotions were both fear that I wouldn't look good and happiness that I just might! I put all my trust into my doc! Dr. Brecht even had no qualms about exchanging my previously decided 650 cc implants for 600 cc, and I'm so glad she could accommodate that because anything bigger than what I have now would be a little too big. This is perfect. Per the doctor's orders, I wear my compression bra alllllllll the time, eat a well balanced diet high in protein, and work out lightly without bouncing or lifting anything over my head. Ellipticals are your friend! The follow up appointments were so nice. I almost didn't make it to my first one the day after because I was so sore but my awesome boyfriend got me there and took it really slow. The staff at aesthetic rejuvenation understood whole heartedly and urged me to come in but to take my time as to not hurt myself! I don't look back on my surgery and think "wow that was almost a week of pain" because it was a week of me being cared for and pushed for the end result. Something I'm used to as an athlete. I want Dr. Brecht and the whole staff to know that I'm healing so well and feel like a million bucks. It'll only get better with time! One thing I would let a first time breast aug patient know is that in order to look like that girl you see on instagram or come even close to it, you've gotta go through some ugly stuff. I was wheeled out to my boyfriend after surgery and he looked terrified!!! He said I looked like I had "really been through it" but that's what any invasive cosmetic surgery will do. The pain was so bad for me, but I think it was worse for me than for others because I live a very active lifestyle in combination with weight training and my chest muscles that the implants were placed under I know for a fact were really tight! I came prepared to surgery day with all of my pain killers, anti-anxiey meds, antibiotics, etc that the doctor prescribed so I was all set to be dosed up for a week! It's all worth it I promise! If you can suck it up to being awake for something like this, it's pretty exciting. I also wanna mention that I appreciate an all female staff! I felt 10x more comfortable without a man telling me what would look best on me, which had happened at other consultations. Dr. Brecht let ME decide and I have zero regrets, only happiness! She's been available round the clock via Gmail for all of my questions and concerns and her staff are very personable as well. Like I would go out to drinks with those ladies that's how personable they are. Thank you Dr. & staff!
