Dr. Costa took the time to listen to my concerns, and addressed them in detail. His team is highly trained, and it was one of the most pleasant and low stress doctors visits I've had. His office even took it a step farther and followed up with me the following week to review lab results and referrals. Providence truly exceeded my expectations and made it feel so personal. After suffering a heart attack, taking time off to recover, and relocating, I've been struggling financially and haven't been able to pay the monthly fee required to continue seeing Dr. Cranney. I've been trying to renew my long-standing prescriptions for high blood pressure and depression--medications that are essential for my well-being. Despite explaining my circumstances, the office refused to refill them. I understand policies and procedures, but this felt cold and irresponsible, especially given the critical nature of the medications. I followed their recommendation to contact the CHAS clinic, but the first available appointment isn't until the end of June. I was then transferred to the hospital's follow-up department, but they were unable to help. At this point, my only remaining option seems to be urgent care, just to access the medications I've been stable on for years. I'm deeply disappointed by how this was handled. I believe patients--especially those dealing with serious health issues--deserve more compassion and flexibility. I hope sharing my experience helps others understand what to expect.

When I needed insurance information and was out of town, I called their office to see if they had the details I needed. Initially, only a portion of the information was found; I received a call a few minutes later from their Office Manager who had gone back into my records and found what I needed. My regular PCP moved to the ER and I was assigned a new PCP through Multicare. However, when I needed to be seen for a physical, I was told that I would have to wait 6 weeks for the first appointment just to meet my newly assigned PCP to establish care... and of course, a copay was expected for that visit. Dr Rietze accepts text messages and phone calls and responds within a day, offering a visit within the next few days, if necessary, but never more than a couple weeks out if non-urgent. She takes her time with me and truly cares about my health... and I'm saving so much money, even on top of insurance premiums! I highly recommend Lilac DPC - this alternative has restored my faith in healthcare.

I scheduled a standard well check. I had no medical concerns, didn't ask any questions, and didn't request lab work. The only reason I went was to request a routine prescription refill. I knew Providence had a policy about being billed for anything "outside the scope" of a well check, so I intentionally kept it brief and on-topic. Despite this, I was billed for two visits. The clinic said I went beyond the scope of the well check--but couldn't explain what that scope is or what I did that triggered the second charge. They also refused to define what is included in a well check at all. The appointment itself was completely scripted. I wasn't invited to speak, ask, or engage. It was cold, rushed, and impersonal. Providence's policy of not allowing questions, labs, or refills during a well check is not only inconvenient--it's inhumane. It reduces care to a checklist and leaves no space for real preventive medicine or meaningful connection with your provider. Patients deserve clarity, respect, and ethical billing practices. I received none of those things.

I was once run our by a golf cart, which opened up a very large cut on my chin . I drove to the office and got a large flap oof skin stitched up. We thought the shin may not be saved, but the job they did it turned out great w/o any infection. I have also have had delays with prescriptions and had to do follow up. She is one of the only or very few doctors that has special or advanced training specifically dealing with seniors. Another thing I like about Dr Ashley, being retired USAF, she cuts to the chase, no BS. She also has a positive view of supplements over many prescriptions. She also sells the highest quality supplements in her separate business next door. I also know she has the same problem as many others businesses. Some people she has hired as admin people just work for a short time and then quit. Finally , a small item, but she has the best phlebotomists anywhere hands down. It should be noted that all the negative reviews I saw were from the same gender.
