Don't go to this woman. First, you have to pay approximately $2000 just to get in the door. As I was establishing my medical needs, she told my office visits were covered by the $2000 and I could call her for any of my medical needs. On several occasions I reached out with questions or a problem only to be told she wasn't available. I was charged for EVERY visit. I expected to pay for some, but was repeatedly reassured that there would be no charge. She insisted I take several vitamins or supplements, which I could only get at her office. And, if I wanted to use a credit card, I was charged an additional 3%. Nope. find someone else. read more

I have been seeing Dr Ashley for many years and my care has been of the highest quality short term and long term. I was once run our by a golf cart, which opened up a very large cut on my chin . I drove to the office and got a large flap oof skin stitched up. We thought the shin may not be saved, but the job they did it turned out great w/o any infection. I have also have had delays with prescriptions and had to do follow up. She is one of the only or very few doctors that has special or advanced training specifically dealing with seniors. Another thing I like about Dr Ashley, being retired USAF, she cuts to the chase, no BS. She also has a positive view of supplements over many prescriptions. She also sells the highest quality supplements in her separate business next door. I also know she has the same problem as many others businesses. Some people she has hired as admin people just work for a short time and then quit. Finally , a small item, but she has the best phlebotomists anywhere hands down. Nightmare office. In late October I visited the office due to a severe headache due to an incident. The doctor scheduled me for a CAT scan because, and I quote, "I want to make sure you're not bleeding on the brain." She also scheduled me for other specialists, which I then spent the next month trying to track down because the office completely ghosted me after this visit. No one ever bothered to call me. I then emailed the office three times via their website contact form AND the email listed on their website. After several weeks, I played phone tag with a less than responsive front desk receptionist who, BTW, is the rudest receptionist you will ever meet. After doing all the footwork myself, I was able to track down all the specialists but the CAT scan one. Long story short, same rude receptionist tells me it's my imagination, that there is no prescribed CAT scan. Yeah, she called me a liar. in front of people in the office. Then told me to "calm down". So I imagined the entire doctor visit and referral. Then, I had to explain the incident that caused my injury, which was embarrassing in the reception area and she again told me I was lying and that the doctor takes copious notes so if it does nto say CAT scan or head issues, then it does not exist. Can you believe it? They refused to simply call the doctor to validate what happened and just kept telling me to calm down. I can handle doing all the work and tracking down specialists and doing this offices' job, but I will not be called a liar and if I die because of this brain issue, I want it known publicly that this was MALPRACTICE and was 100% the responsibility of this office for telling me I may be bleeding on the brain, then calling me a liar for wanting the referral and info to get the CAT scan THEY PRESCRIBED. The headaches are worse now, btw and I'm scrambling to find another primary doctor. It's been a nightmare. To illustrate just how incompetent this office is, when I asked them why they never email me back and they said, "we don't answer emails..." So I asked, as any reasonable human being would, then why do you have an email and message portal page on your website. Her answer was, and I quote again here: "I don;t know. Visited first time with Susan Asley on 11/15/23. Immediately, upon entering office, received a strong sense of patient dislike from staff, unfriendly and rude. None of my concerns were answered including getting correct referrals for other providers, answering questions, nor resolving the reason I came in! Hard to get a callback, lots of delays and mistakes, especially from rude Kaylie, medical asst. Wanted me to see the Dr. a second time to go over things I could not get answered from first visit! She even goofed up the phone call appt. scheduling... After I complained, they dismissed me, without resolving my issues. Complaints underway to Insurance company, state medical board, and Office of Civil Rights for Patient Bill of Rights violations. This place is a huge departure from how care should be. STAY AWAY!!! Be sure to read the reviews below and on Health Grades, same sad treatment. If I could give a negative review I would!! I made an "establish care" appointment with this office which is covered at 100% by my insurance. She then coded it as something different and sent me a bill for over $150.00!! She was literally in the room with me for less than 5 minutes, didn't seem to give a crap about me at all!! So disappointed in Dr Susan Ashley. I really liked her, but it took me 8 days to get my Estradiol prescription filled. The prescription was sent the following day 6/1 to Optum but they were out of supply. Left 3 messages for the MA to call me back to have the prescription sent to Rite Aid. I even left another message saying where to send it. Then I left a message for Susan Ashley. Never one return call. Finally I asked if Optum could forward the prescription to Rite Aid and I finally got it filled on 6/8. After leaving a review on google I got a response from her that her MA called and talked to me on 6/7. Which is a lie, I wish I could have talked to someone. Then they try and tell me they were waiting for blood results before they could prescribe the medicine. They already prescribed it on 6/I, I just couldn't get it transferred to Rite Aid. Then I was told that She would send my medical file to whatever doctor I get. I just can't believe Susan Ashley doesnt want me as a patient because of a honest review. They also did a blood test which cost me out of pocket $183 after my insurance paid, but they tested for the wrong thing, it should have been for hormones. So I had to take another blood test and now I'm waiting for that bill. And now no doctor to read it. See her google response! read more

Dr Ashley and her clinic were able to get me right in when I was sick this winter, with what I thought was a bad cold but was instead pneumonia. They take walk-in visits which is nice, since as my PCP she already knows my health issues. If you want excellent healthcare from a doctor that really cares, this is the place. read more

I have been seeing Dr. Ashley for 2 years. Every time I go in, no matter what time of day I have an appointment, there is always a 45 minute wait until I go back. An appointment will usually take an hour and a half including wait time. Also, it is very difficult to be seen. At least 2-3 weeks when I call to schedule an appointment. On the plus side, the Dr. does spend a good amount of time with me. The communication between the Dr.'s office and their natural pharmacy Healthy Living Northwest is terrible. But what was really terrible was they way they treated my Mother, who referred me to this doctor. She had tried to refill her hormone RX a week before she ran out. It had been 3 months, and she did not know that her RX had expired. The pharmacy tried for 4 days to get a hold of the doctor with no response. When my Mom was finally able to reach someone at the Dr. Office, they told her she needed to come in and be seen before they could refill the RX. She had questions that they didn't have the time to answer for her. This process took over a week, and she was now out of her RX and upset by the entire ordeal. She expressed her frustration without cursing or belittling the person she was talking with. Three days later she received a letter in the mail telling her they could no longer see her as a patient. This was not on the Dr's letterhead, and was signed with a stamp. When she called the Doctors office to find out why, they said that she had upset the person who took her call and she felt "threatened" The doctor did not bother to talk my Mom to hear her side of the story, they just released her as a patient. So if the office staff does not like you for any reason, they can release you as a patient just to be spiteful. Which is what happened to my Mom. read more
