Nurses and X-Ray Assistants have always made me feel comfortable during treatment or just making idle chit chat. Yes, alot of patients, including myself are there for chronic pain and are frustrated about day to day life. Dr. Hatheway isn't there to listen to us complain and hold our hands. He is there as a professional, attempting to resolve the issues with the skill and treatments he has to offer. I even love the valet parking and their attendants. And NWP validates!!

Not only does he actually take the time to listen to your concerns, he genuinely cares. Most Doctors shuffle you in and out as quickly as possible but Dr. Hurley makes it a point to get to know the patient. I don't know what I will do when he decides to retire. Hopefully that's a long way off.

Treatment of patients with movement disorders seems to be a passion for him, as he frequently will discuss progress and breakthroughs occurring worldwide. Another indication is his involvement with current research in these fields. I will also give a shout out to his staff. They have always treated me well, been informative, polite, and jovial. I always leave his office in a better mood than when I arrived. It must be difficult for Dr. Aldred and staff to provide care for a patient population with a chronic disorder. It is hard to be a member of that demographic, but I've been grateful that I have been in his care since early in my diagnosis and can't recommend his practice high enough!

I was told Dr Aldred was the best with Medtronic DBS programming for Dystonia. He wasted months of…read moremy time programming me like a Parkinson's pt. Causing me more pain and side effects. He did say he shouldn't have done that with me, so I will give him that. He sent me to his ARNP who didn't introduce herself and barely spoke to me and did nothing for my program. Next appt saw him we agreed that he needed to get my program under control before going to her. The front desk didn't know his schedule for a follow-up appt said they would call. They call I have to see the ARNP I ask why, I'm told he wouldn't be there. I agreed to see her because I was having side effects and needed relief. Came in and as I'm walking the hall with my husband there was Dr Aldred. Try to make next appt same scenario they will call they never did!! As a Pt continuity of care is important. My condition is not easy to work with and seems he wasn't up for the challenge. Which is strange considering the bragging he did about programming his other Pt's, and having your staff lie for you, well that's a whole other level. He seems to be very knowledgeable but I believe he would be better suited in a position of teaching students rather than Pt care. Too much ego and not enough compassion.

Dr. Moss did my total left hip replacement just yesterday, 7/8/26. He's great. He explained…read moreeverything that he would be doing in surgery. Everyone at MWOS was great from the moment we checked in. The receptionist was very friendly and discreet when it was needed. My nurse, Cathy, was awesome She took great care of me, again explaining everything she was doing and why. I needed some special assistance at one point before going in for surgery and she handled it professionally and, again, with discretion. She also took care to include my husband in all conversations as did everyone who talked to me before surgery. The nurse who took care of me in recovery was great! I think her name is Wendy. Made sure I was comfortable and coming out of it well. The nurse who wheeled me out to the car whose name I didn't catch was also very friendly and made sure I was moving correctly when getting into our Jeep. Everyone here was awesome! I highly recommend NWOS and Dr. Moss. I have not had one bad experience there with anyone and am looking forward to having my right hip done there as soon as I can.

I explained I needed it for my sick time request and she said to wait in the lobby. I proceeded to wait thirty minutes and had to request the two line note three times before they handed it to me. The nurse who took my vitals threw my arms around like i was a toy or something. They also ordered an xray when we already has an MRI. They also didn't offer to validate our parking but did for all other patients we witnessed checking in. I'm really confused and bewildered by the way I was treated. I also need to get a second opinion because she treated my obvious issues in the scans as non problematic. If you have a choice go somewhere else. people are just paychecks to this clinic.

My first and only appointment with Ms Hall was for an annual exam. She did absolutely nothing…read moreduring the exam. Did not listen to my breathing/lungs or heart. I had to ask for the basic blood test. She did not order a mammogram, colon or bone density test. I complained of my ear plugging and she did not even look at it. I had injured my arm and found out later that she made no notes of it and wanted me to come back in merely to order an x-ray for it. It would be impossible to see what was wrong with a probable Deltoid muscle tear without an x-ray or MRI so why she refused to order one, I do not know. I guess just to get money for another useless visit. I told Whitney that I was depressed after losing my grown daughter w/young children to cancer. She immediately turned the conversation to all about her own problems without addressing any possibilities that might help me to better cope. After telling the staff manager, Margaret, that I had been told via text I would be switched to an actual doctor after reporting the poor service from Whitney, she said that they do not text and it must've been a robo response. I then sent proof with copies of the actual text messaging that I had an ongoing conversation with someone that was going to assign me to an actual doctor, which never happened. Margaret never acknowledged, apologized or helped in any way. Northwest Family Medicine is a terrible place and I would advise any and all to stay clear! Even the offices did not feel that crispy clean like one would expect from a good medical facility.
