December 9th - December 16, 2017 Eastern Caribbean Port of Calls * Half Moon Cay, Bahamas * Nassau, Bahamas * Full Day at Sea * Amber Cove, Dominican Republic * Grand Turk, * Full Day at Sea Wow Carnival !!!!!! You have truly out done yourself. I had such an amazing time that I didn't want to exit the ship this morning. Everything was amazing from the food, activities, ports of call, room stewards, movies, fun squad, cruise director and the bartenders. Every event that I attended was awesome from the comedy club, karaoke, parties on the Lido deck, liquor tasting and all sorts of fun raffles to win prizes. Half way through the cruise we were introduced to two new comedians and all the shows were worth watching. I loved how they offered a PG show earlier in the day and a Rated R for 18 and older later that night. I loved all the Dive-In movie options * Cars 3 * Disciple Me 3 * A Christmas Carol * The Holiday * Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Man Tells No Tell

I've been aboard more cruise ships than I can now remember, but I will remember the Carnival Glory as I had such a wonderful time. Though an older smaller ship and with a rather garish Las Vegas type of interior décor, it's one of my favorites because it's one of the most fun ships to be aboard. That plus it offers the best bang for the buck of any ship I've ever been aboard. The food and service were top notch with music and entertainment everywhere, and compared to the newer larger cruise ships, the Carnival Glory stands as a testament that bigger isn't necessarily better. I had an exceptionally large room which our good room steward who recognized me by name from having been aboard other cruises on other ships kept immaculate and spotlessly clean at all times. Though an older ship and though my cabin toilet malfunctioned and the ships anchor and casing showed embarrassing signs of rust, they were quick on remedying the plumbing problems and doing an anchor area repaint. What is particularly unique about the Carnival Glory and makes it a standout is how much fun it is. Everyone, the passengers as well as the wait staff and crew members all join in on having a good time. I haven't seen an actual dinner wait staff "March of the Baked Alaska" aboard a cruise ship in years, but I saw it here along with their after dinner dancing and singing; a totally delightful treat. Though some poke fun at Carnival ships, referring to them as being the "Walmart's of the Seas" or the "Ships of Party Drunks," I'll take them anytime over Holland America, Cunard or the likes, which though also owned by Carnival Lines are just too pretentious, stuffy, nose in the air and boring for me and generally way to formal (I really don't like wearing a tuxedo or suit for formal night dinner). After all, I'm on vacation. I want fun, and though I may be 72 years old, damn it all, I want to roll out the good times and party it up; not sit around in some lounge chair reading a book or fool around dressing up in a tuxedo for dinner.

I went on the Carnival Glory out of Miami on September 19th for my first cruise. We cruised through the eastern Caribbean for 7 days and stopped in Half Moon Cay, Bahamas on the 20th, St. Thomas, USVI on the 22nd, San Juan, Puerto Rico on the 23rd, Grand Turk, Turks and Caicos on the 24th and disembarked on the 26th. All of the ports were beautiful and I loved each and every one we visited. Overall, the cruise was a lot of fun, and there was so much to do on the ship. There are several bars, pools, a casino, piano bar, karaoke, a nightclub, comedy club, and shows that take place in the main showroom every evening. You get a schedule every day of what's happening, but it's nearly impossible to attend everything. All of the service workers were really friendly and helpful. The food was pretty average, but there is a lot of options and you can order as much or as little as you want. We dined in the alternative steakhouse ($35 each) on the first night because they offered a complimentary bottle of wine, and that was one of the best meals I had on the ship. It was definitely worth the experience and everything was very tasty. Just don't expect the rest of your meals to be at that same quality! My favorite dining option was Guy's Burgers. For our stateroom cabin, we had balcony room #1038 on deck 10 closer to the front of the ship. I don't think we could have had a better location. I had an excellent view of each port from our balcony and it was in a very quiet area, but also super close to the pools on deck 9, the red sail buffet, guys burgers, and the blue iguana. I think cruising is a great way to see a lot of different places in a short amount of time for a pretty good value. However, I did experience some motion sickness and there were some days where I felt more rockiness on the ship than I had anticipated and glasses were sliding around on the table, but it wasn't unbearable and didn't ever last long.

This place was in the negative stars by day 2, their only saving grace was the casino. I am appalled at the customer service. When we got on board there was no ac in our room, you could feel nothing was coming out of the vent even on the lowest setting so we complained to guest services where they assured us someone would fix it. By the time we get back to our room there's a card saying the room meets boat standards...funny cuz it was still boiling at this point. So we attempted to sleep, no such luck in the heat tho so we complain again the 2nd day & receive the same card w/uncomfortably hot temps in the room still so we complain again & had the guy Samir from guest services come to our room w/us & he even said this room is very hot & no there is no air coming out of that vent...interesting that an employee will tell us to our face that we were right but just leave a card saying everything is fine if we are not there. Samir was helpful & got us a fan to help out-not the same as the ac we paid a lot of money for but whatever. Of course it broke the next day so we had to address this issue again where the employees accused us of breaking it-unacceptable, the technician came in & tested the outlet & one didn't have any juice-an issue that was probably there from the start of the trip but we hadn't been using it & as far as the fan, it was running 24/7 so it's understandable that it would die-maybe just fix your ac? During this whole fiasco, they are again assuring us that the room is up to standards b/c it's allowed to be anywhere from 65-74 degrees-I have photo proof that my room was 74.8, taken by the staffs temp gauge...so we're still making this up?? Unreal! Sooo now instead their solution is to give us a room on deck 1 when we paid to be on deck 8 with no monetary reimbursement for the DOWNGRADE in the room, so now they want us to pay for services we didn't receive? Umm no. We asked to speak to a manager & they're telling us there's no manager on duty so we had to go to the casino manager-Vincent (who was great btw) and have them call, he took care of things right away & got in touch w/Felicia, manager in guest services...you know what her solution was? We should skip our excursion in Belize to stay back to talk to her when she starts her shift at 8-say what? Skip our excursion to deal with this? I don't think so. She said fine, she'll meet at 7...well she didn't show up til 8 & we had to leave so we had to wait all day to deal with this again. She ended up giving us a $300 spa treatment to make up for it, but honestly that's not good enough. We wouldn't have gone to the spa otherwise so you're not doing us any favors for the awful service, you're just giving us something in addition to what we already paid for...not to mention those nickle dimers at the spa were trying to haggle more money out of us too. They should have reimbursed us for the drink package or given us some money back on the room if they really wanted to make it up to us because that's what good service does. I also found it annoying that no employees knew anything, for example we asked a few people where the cinna bar was & they had never even heard of it then another day we asked 3 people what the drink of the day was & got 3 different answers. Is there any communication amongst the employees? Also, the food options were not the best. Everything closed at 2:30-even on days you're docked and not back until 4 or 5. The burger bar and taco bar were cool but should have been open later. We never even got to try the BBQ place cuz it was as barely open and for dinner, what were you supposed to eat everyday? It's like they force you to pay extra and get the steakhouse one night cuz how many times can you have the buffet? The captains dinner was very nice tho and the food was good there. We also spent a good amount of time at the deli and pizza bar cuz there was no where to eat. Our favorite part of the boat (besides the excellent drinks we had-shoutouts to Tuana at the alchemy bar, the ladies at the coffee bar by the casino and the rum bar staff) was the casino. My boyfriend gambled quite a bit of money this week and they really took care of us-not only with helping us out by getting the manager but they kept offering us drinks on the house but since we had the drink package they comped us a dinner at the steak house with a bottle of wine and gave us a voucher for another cruise and 6 chocolate covered strawberries delivered to our room. So so nice of them!! They were very friendly and always greeted my bf Greg by name because they knew he was a good customer-prob one of the best this week. We loved the cashier Joe, the dealer Jonathan and the manger Vincent. The casino was a ton of fun! (Wish it was non smoking tho). The ports were great, we had fun each day we docked but the boat in general was more stressful than it was fun so it was extremely disappointing and this was my birthday cruise. It was supposed to be a good time.

Want to cruise the Eastern Caribbean, get on board the Glory. The Crew has one mission, to ensure you have the time of your life. They execute this mission perfectly. From our Stateroom Steward Youok to our Guest Services Associate Mohamed Ali Mahrsi, our wish was their command. After breakfast, we started the day on Deck 9 with our favorite Mixologist Vasily who always crafted us a fine morning brunch beverage. We totaled 37 in our Family Group which you'd think would be hard to simultaneously seat. The Hostesses that we had Maja, Kelia, Bernadett, and Jin always git the job done. The food was fantastic as the on board Chef and his Team had it down. For lunch, I highly recommend that you get the Ringer @ GUY'S BURGER JOINT. That's right In 2011, Guy partnered with Carnival Cruise lines, to create Guy's Burger Joint to feature Guy's signature burger creations fleet-wide. Guy's Burger Joint offers fresh made to order burgers and fresh cut fries to cruisers all over the world. Guy's Burger Joint Can ONLY Be Found Onboard Carnival Cruise Ships. Since I was on vacation I thought I should treat myself to a Bamboo Massage and Christine Christobal was my masseuse and does she do a great job. Great Ship, Excellent Crew, cruising in the Caribbean, who could ask for anything more.

What an awesome vacation this was on the Glory! We took the sister ship to Glory in May (Conquest) so knew my way around the boat very well. Also, was happily surprised that Glory has a serenity deck unlike the conquest. I will say the food on conquest was a little better, but both overall great boats. To start off our trip we boarded in Miami. The parking at the port was scarce and confusing, but we were able to find parking in Terminal D and get all our luggage where it needed to go and on board. This is our last cruise as Gold VIFP members as our next one will be platinum so we thought we would have long waits getting on board, but with the assigned check in times boarding was a breeze! We were about 20 minutes early before our assigned time and were able to walk right onto the boat without any lines hardly. This was awesome! We immediately went to get lunch on lido and had no issues. Our rooms were ready by 1pm with our sail and sign cards already there for us instead of having to wait in long lines for that and our luggage was there by 3pm. The boat itself has the 2.0 upgrades so Guys Burgers, BBQ, and Blue Iguana are on board which makes for a great cruise! All of the crew and staff are very friendly we had an issue with our beds being put together when they should've been separate and our room steward was able to fix that within no time. My parents room had an issue of the door getting stuck and they gladly responded to fixing that and even continued to fix it as it happened again later on the trip. Dinner was really one of our only complaints as it took much longer than it ever had before on any of our other cruises, but the servers were friendly and brought us everything we asked for. It was also unfortunate that our rooms were at the very front of the boat and we were placed in the dining room at the very back of the boat. This caused one of our guests who gets seasick to not be able to attend dinner due to the rough water being felt at the back of the boat. Overall, food was decent although would've liked to see better options on the menu as I don't remember ever struggling to know what to order in the past and that happened this trip. One perk is the Carnival Hub app has the dinner menu posted so you don't have to leave your room to know what is going to be served. This was our first time having balcony rooms and we really enjoyed being able to see the sunset each night and walk out for fresh air. Our first stop was Grand Cayman, we decided to do a private excursion to Starfish Point and were very impressed with this. Tendering is always a little more difficult than walking off in port, but our group went straight to the gangway and was put on a tender right away. We had no issues getting off or on and had a great day on the island. Our second stop was Honduras, which we also did a private excursion to Little French Key. This was a great trip and we have been to LFK twice now and will probably continue to go back if we go to Honduras. This is one of our favorite ports Carnival goes to which makes it exciting for us when we see Honduras on the cruise itineraries. Our third stop was Belize. This is also a tendered port and a long one at that, but we had no issues as we booked the Carnival Cave tubing and zip lining excursion. This was a great excursion and something everyone should do once. The only downside is the 1 hour or more travel time into the rainforest to get to the caves by bus, then a 30 minute hike through the forest to get to the actual caves. Our excursion guide Melvin was great and I highly recommend doing this if you're looking for more adventure than a beach or snorkel excursion. Our last port day was spent in Cozumel. We decided to go to Xel-Ha in mainland Mexico as we have been to Cozumel multiple times. This was one of the coolest places since it included unlimited food, alcohol, drinks, and activities. The downside here was definitely time. We were barely at Xel-Ha for 3 hours before having to come back. It requires a 45 minute ferry ride and a 45 minute bus ride just to get there, but we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. C-love is a great cruise director and cruising during the Christmas season was excellent. They had a special Holiday Show, a massive Christmas tree in the atrium, crew dressed as Santa and elves. It was truly a magical time, especially since I've only cruised during the summer. The Glory isn't your biggest and newest ship, but it has everything you could want or need. The comedians were overall pretty good, the deli has an updated menu that's super delicious, waterslides, shopping, activities and so much more.

So me and my best friend rang in the New Year on Glory. Not gonna lie, almost everything about this ship I liked - Our balcony room, the Discount Ryan Seacrest MC'ing the NYE ball drop on the Lido deck, the food (not the dinning room food, more on that later) and the general happiness of the my fellow passengers AND the staff. For what we paid, I can say we did get our money's worth. The excursions. Probably the best one was in Cozumel where we took a Salsa, Salsa Margarita class. Meaning we got to make our own various salsas and margaritas and once we were drunk off our asses, they attempted to teach us how to actually "salsa" heh heh. Kudos to the "adult section" of the boat. On our sea days, there was usually plenty of seating to choose from that were kid free and since it was during the holidays, that was a huge plus. My only real complaint was the quality of the dinning room food! Usually, it's the buffet food that's garbage and dinning room that great. This time the exact opposite. Bland over salted steak!!! And as we all know, bad steak makes the baby Jesus cry. Me too for that matter. :( Honorable mention to the WORST beef Carpaccio I have EVER eaten! Think slimy beef. Ugh! :( All in all, a relaxing and enjoyable vacation had by all!

My 4th cruise (2nd sailing with Carnival). I have to say this experience was one of the best ones I've had - the room with the balcony was a great decision; an offshore tour too (Mayan ruins in Belize for the 7 day cruise); etc. The cleanliness of the cruise was GREAT; you didn't see any trash cans - but every employee working very hard to ensure the place was clean all the time. The entertainment was off the chain; props to Dustin the cruise director!!! The night shows were great; specially Amor Cubano! The food was REALLY good; the variety of the items was a plus; the staff was great and friendly. I can't wait to sail with Carnival again; and I surely hope it continues to excite me and never disappoint me!!! :) Thank you guys!!!!!!

Cay Caulker one of the ports, we will definitely be back to visit.

We took the Carnival Glory out of Miami 12/2/2018. It was great. We have never had a bad Carnival Cruise. The staff on board are always amazing, the service, the shows and there is so much to do. We love to do cruises with our kid. He has a blast when we go on cruises with our friends with kids. The buffet food is fine, the special restaurants and reservations for those are worth it. On this Glory they had Guys burgers and it was amazing and a Mexican cantina. Never had a problem finding somewhere to sit by the pool. We definitely love to do cruises every now and then and so far have only some carnival, but never had a bad experience and with kids and a large group it's been great. We did one out of Puerto Rico for our honeymoon and it was during Hurricane Irma, the cruise line made us feel safe. I realized on that cruise though they are so much more fun with a group, but for our honeymoon it served us well to decide where we wanted to go back to, which is why we love cruises. We loved Guatemala and Belize when we went on this cruise and will definitely go back to both on a different trip.

This was our first time on Carnival. We're relative cruise neophytes--three priors on NCL, and one on Royal Caribbean. Our itinerary (which, due to my usual foresight, preceded Hurricane Michael by a month) was Miami-Half Moon Cay (Bahamas)-St. Thomas (USVI)-San Juan, PR-Amber Cove (Dominican Republic)-Miami. To start with the worst and work our way up from there, boarding was, oh, about as organized as debarkation from /Titanic/. Because of limited space at the dock, arriving passengers are accommodated in scheduled half-hour cohorts, and those mutinous enough to arrive more than an hour early are left with pretty much nowhere to stand, let alone sit. Once our destined half-hour arrived, boarding procedures were no more onerous than airport security, but that's not saying much. Yet, in the fullness of time, we did get aboard; and, unlike previous experience with NCL, our balcony cabin was ready for occupancy. Our first informal meal aboard was excellent, multi-option burgers from Guy's, on the Lido Deck. This is, I believe, an older ship; everything is clean and functional, but the midship atrium area, in particular, feels a bit compressed. Dining options include two main dining rooms, Gold and Platinum. Guests may be assigned to an early or late dinner period spanning several hours, or an all-evening option. We never had to wait more than a few minutes to be seated. Food was excellent, with daily menu changes. Some servers, however, were definitely English-challenged. Alternatives to the dining rooms include a large buffet (though not as varied as on NCL, and with more limited hours), and a number of specialty dining places, some of them free, some at extra charge. Bars galore, some with a tropical theme. The unlimited-drinks package, however, is no bargain: $49.95, plus 15% gratuitÿ, per day per person, and if one person buys it, all adults in the same cabin must. Only the most determined boozers will get their money's worth, even at shipboard drink prices. Nightly entertainment in the main show room is elaborate and professional, though shows are conducted by the ship's own troupe rather than outside acts. Two of the ports of call, Half Moon Cay and Amber Cove, proved to be isolated enclaves operated by and for the cruise line. At Half Moon, especially, there's essentially zero opportunity for contact with locals not in the employ of Carnival or its concessionaires. San Juan and St. Thomas are much better in this regard, with docks right in town, leaving passengers not choosing from the large menu of shore excursions at liberty to explore on their own.

This was our eleventh cruise with Carnival Cruise lines and we were very disappointed in the dining in the ship especially every part of the dining management. First of all my daughter in law has severe allergies to seafood if it comes in contact with her. So we did exactly what we always do and requested early dining so she would have the same wait staff who can seat her at a table away from the kitchen and out of the way. The day before the cruise we got an email stating we were in early dining. However, when we go our room keys they stated we had anytime dining. That first day we spoke to several persons and no luck. We were told they were overbooked and they could not help us. The first four dining experiences were atrocious as my daughter in law ended us using her EpiPen due to allergic reaction to being seated right in front of the rotating kitchen door where all the lobsters were coming out. Even asking for a table change early didn't help to no avail. I believe that Elena the greeter purposely seated her in that spot since we complained three times prior attempting to get early dining it even a side table out of the way with the same wait staff each night. The waiter brought two extra lobsters out and shoved them in front of her and her husband knowing she was allergic. After having 600-700 lobsters come past her out of the kitchen as well as the smell from the kitchen itself it was done. She had a reaction and needed her EpiPen. A sad state of affairs. We have been in so many Carnival cruises as they are so accommodating but not this ship. It was an utter failure at accommodating a sever allergy. I do not recommend the Carnival Glory for anyone who has a severe food allergy because my daughter in-law saw her throat seize up due to incompetence. We complained and spoke to the kitchen manager over the whole ship and they sent it to corporate however we have heard nothing. One Star.

My family and I had so much fun on Carnival Glory! The Eastern Caribbean Cruise included ports of call from: Half Moon Cay, St. Thomas, San Juan, and Grand Turk. Half Moon Cay- This was my favorite beach stop! The beach was so pristine with it's soft sand and clear blue water. Beach loungers were plentiful and free for the picking! As soon as I found my spot, I plopped right down and took in the sun. Later on in the day, I made my way over to the food pavilion. I thought it was amusing that when I was biting into some jerk chicken that random chickens would strut by me. I'm sorry chickens, but you are too delicious! St. Thomas- You will have to do some planning here. Unless you are shopping at the nearby mall, then you will need a taxi to get to any destination worth going. Protip, St. Thomas is the perfect place to bargain for jewelry. San Juan- Wepa! Again, do some leg work beforehand and figure out what you want to do. I wandered the streets a bit, then made my way to El Morro. From El Morro I took the free trolley to Cristobal. Man, I wish I had more time to explore the streets of Old San Juan! Grand Turk- I love how everything was centralized. You get off the ship, walk down the pier, pass the shops, and boom you are on the beach. Unfortunately, the beach isn't as clean as Half Moon Cay, but still fun! Protip, bring swimming goggles. The water is more rough here, but if you swim out enough, then you get to see some awesome marine life. During the "At Sea" days, there were still so many activities going on that you couldn't have been bored. Even if you lock yourself in your cabin; you could still have fun staring at your random animal towel. You could also watch a live or previously recorded streaming of the ship's more popular events. Definitely try to catch at least one late night comedy show and the love and marriage game show. Foodwise, it all depends on what you like. I love sit down dinners, but sometimes I felt like I wasted 2 hours when I could have been watching a show or doing something else. Dinner is slow, but entertaining. The Lido deck has everything you need so that maybe a more convenient option for some during dinner time. Yes, it's an older ship, but it's a well run older ship! From food service to activities to debarkation; there was staff always willing and ready to answer any questions or requests that I had. I couldn't believe how many hours the employees worked just to make everyone's vacation that much more enjoyable. Also, the Cruise Director, Mike, was such a riot! He was always on point with his corny jokes and suit changes. He also made a point to meet and chat with everyone on the ship, which was really cool of him! Honestly, this is a great ship to be on if it's your first time. I know if I went on Carnival Glory for my first cruise, then I would be hooked.

Sitting in the floor because it's such a cluster trying to get off this ship. Kicked us out of our cabin and have nowhere but the floor.
    Happy C.

Overall, a very good experience and good value, but several things need improvement. First of all, on the first day everyone was required (mandatory!) to report to a "Muster Station" for a silly safety demonstration about how to put on a life jacket. Supposedly required by law, so okay. Except several hundred of us stood in a cramped space with no ventilation, fans or air for 45 minutes. This was uncomfortable for all, but impossible for elderly folks, disabled people or children. Kids were screaming like crazy, and I didn't blame them. This was a hot mess and poorly organized. Shame on you, Carnival! The second thing is, don't bother to pay for "Premium Wi Fi." It's a joke and a waste of money for downloads and apps that load at a snail's pace or time out before they ever load. Save yourself the frustration. Most disappointing was the First Aid Station, supposedly staffed with medical personnel. God forbid you would ever get sick or even need a Band Aid on a Carnival cruise, because it will cost you. I had a nasty scratch and wanted to get a better, waterproof bandage so I could do shore excursions in the ocean and pools. I was naturally concerned about getting an open would wet, but the Carnival witch doctor was not! She tried to charge me $60 for a "consult" and a piece of Saran Wrap. There was no "consult" because she never asked me to remove my bandage so she could look at my scratch. She was not interested in anything except collecting $60 from me, which I refused to pay because it was such a joke. Seriously, Carnival, this is outrageous to have such an utter disregard for the well being of your guests. Last of all, beware of playing Bingo on this ship. The game hosts will push you to buy a $40 special for two people to "save money." What they do not make clear at all is you are buying a "fanatic" package and a $120 charge will appear on your account later. Total scam. Beware of Carnival Bingo!

Honest Review - Royal Caribbean Radiance of the Seas We…read morerecently took a cruise on the Radiance of the Seas with Royal Caribbean International, traveling from Fort Lauderdale to the Bahamas for 3 nights and 4 days. As Hindu (Krishna/ISKCON) devotees, we follow a strict vegetarian diet--no onion or garlic--and we also offer our food to the Lord before eating. Because of these dietary restrictions, we were honestly very hesitant and nervous about booking a cruise. However, our experience turned out to be absolutely wonderful. To our surprise, there were several Indian chefs onboard who took exceptional care of us. They personally came to our table for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, spoke with us about our dietary requirements, and prepared fresh meals exactly according to our needs. We were expecting that we might have to survive on fruits for the entire trip--but instead, they provided a variety of freshly cooked vegetarian dishes made specifically for us. The level of service truly exceeded our expectations. For any Jain or strict vegetarian devotees who are hesitant about going on a cruise due to food restrictions, I can confidently say that Royal Caribbean is a great choice. Just make sure to inform them of your dietary requirements (such as Jain vegetarian or no onion/garlic) at the time of booking, and they will accommodate you throughout the trip. Overall, the cruise experience was excellent. The service was outstanding, and we had no complaints at all. We were even provided with a quiet conference room where we could perform our daily prayers peacefully. I would give them 10 out of 10 for their service. Thank you--this is our honest review.

I paid $140 for two seats that were clearly shown as a two seat row. When my wife and I boarded, we discovered the row actually had three seats. No one pays extra for a middle seat -- ever. My seat number was k6 and the seat has no cushion whatsoever, I had to stack pillows and blanket to prevent back pain Most incompetent company I've had to deal with. Called someone in Detroit to get information about the plane and flight, he gives me another number to call I believe it was in Chicago. I call that number, another person tells me we don't handle this, you have to call another number. Called that number, that person gave me the original Detroit number. I called Detroit back, another person answers and gives me the information I was asking to begin with. Not done yet. I finally check in and get on the plane, plane was gorgeous and flight attendants for most part were very hard working. Half the people on this flight were idiots, loud, arrogant, dirty and bathrooms even after a couple hours in flight were dirty, urine on the floor, clogged up sinks. Absolutely disgusting!!!! Like a fourth world country on a top of the line plane. I will never ever fly Royal Jordanian again!!!! Would rather pay twice as much and get to Amman in 3 days then fly this airline. Rather take any other airline that go through that hell again.

A Great Cruise With Some Gaps -- But The Haven? Game‑Changer…read more Norwegian Cruise Line delivered a really enjoyable vacation overall, but let's call it like it is: this isn't the most kid‑centric cruise line out there. If you're expecting wall‑to‑wall family programming, this isn't that. That said, the Kids Academy was an absolute hit--the staff was fantastic, the activities kept the little ones happy, and it quickly became the go‑to spot. And the arcade? Total blast. Easily one of the highlights for the kids (and, let's be honest, the adults too). Entertainment-wise, the shows could use a little more spark. Nothing bad, just missing that "wow, we need to see that again" energy. A bit more excitement or variety would go a long way. Now... the part that bumps this from a 3.5 to a solid 4 stars: The Haven. We scored a deal, and if you know, you know. Private restaurant, priority everything, a butler who somehow appears exactly when you need them--it's a different world up there. The Haven experience smooths out every rough edge and turns the whole trip into something special. Overall, Norwegian delivered a great cruise with a few areas that could level up, but thanks to The Haven, it felt like a truly elevated getaway. Would absolutely sail again--especially if another Haven deal pops up. Bon Voyage

We have three different categories of rooms, including one in the Haven, a family balcony cabin and a regular balcony cabin. The Haven cabin is gorgeous, super comfortable bed and we have plenty of storage. We have a butler and a concierge team and they are taking great care of us. We love our nespresso machine as well for our morning routine. The Haven restaurant is nice as well, MUCH quieter than anywhere else on the ship. The Haven Bar is also a quiet retreat in the evening. The bartender's know our names and are phenomenal at what they do. We've been to several specialty restaurants so far and Sukothai's red chicken curry has the 'win' as well as the Sole from Palomar. Don't miss these. The Starbucks on the 7th floor is a hopping place and we've enjoyed a taste of home daily. There is SO much to do- between the pools; the aqua coaster, activity center with mini golf and such, the kids are happy.

Once my first thing in the morning appointment time came a group of us were let in the appointment side. They also take walk ins, through a different side of the building. However if you have an appointment you go to the front of the line for security screening and get to the processing windows first. Security screening (think airport screening) was quick and I was off to the processing window. They reviewed my paperwork and I was told it usually takes about 2 hours to be processed. The procedure for picking up my renewed passport was explained and they also told me a text message would be sent when it was ready. After exploring Miami a little bit I was texted and I got my new passport. Very efficient process and the employees were great.

Somebody told us about it. The park meet at Omni Center building is pricey at $15 for the first 60 minutes, eight dollars for each additional minute and $50 maximum daily rate. We had plans to travel to the Bahamas on Thanksgiving day. On Monday night, we realized we didn't have passports for the kids!!! No, seriously. Our two oldest have expired passports our youngest never got one. Oh man!!! This slipped our mind as we travel to Bahamas often and just forgot that you need a passport for travel there. We jumped on the computer and went to the passport website. Very secured site as they ask for email and phone verifications. Good for us! They literally had one appt open at 9:30am on Tuesday morning, the next day. We snagged the appt and got all paperwork together, completed necessary forms and gathered proof of documentations. Woke the kids up the next day at 6:30am and went to Walgreens to get passport photos at 7am. Walgreens hustled and got us 3 passport photos within 15 minutes. $16.99 for each passport photo. Amazing! Worth every penny. Drove to Miami in the morning rush hour, funnnnn! Made it there by 9am for our 9:30am appt. Found out they have a passport photo service on the first floor. They charge more at $24 per passport photo. It's worth it for the convenience being in same building as Miami Passport Agency and a quick solution. There's also World's Smallest Café on first floor across from passport photo service. Coffee, tea, empanadas, small pizzas and pastries. Went to 4th floor for Miami Passport Agency. Lots of security. They check your printed confirmation of appt. Then they check your documents before you go through the security check. Once inside, it's massive. Quite efficient and smooth actually. You wait in line for them to check all actual documentation, they input into computer and give you a number. You sit and wait for them to call your number and which window to approach. Once we got called, they get everything together, confirm all information, check that both parents are present for kid's passports, confirm kids match passport requests, double and triple check everything and then you pay all the fees (application, expedited fee, etc). They print a receipt and let you know you can return the same day between 12-2pm to pick up your passports. My return time was 1pm. They emphasized that you must be here before 2pm or you don't get in!!! We arrived at 9am and everything went smoothly. We left around 10:30am. I came back at 12:30pm for passport pick up. The first line before security was super long, about 30-40 people deep. Waiting to get through security. Once you get through security, the room I was in before was PACKED!!! Everyone that came back to pick up their passports. Almost every other chair was full and still more people coming in. Although my pick up time was estimated for 1pm, they didn't call me until 1:45pm. Keep in mind, if they did call your name and you weren't there, they will repeat your name. Got the passports!!! Yayyyyyy!!! So freaking happy. All in all, I have to say Miami Passport Agency was incredibly efficient and such a smooth process. Of course it was a waiting game. But if you have everything they ask for, it should flow pretty smoothly. Thanks to everyone who helped us here! We are so grateful this worked out and we can travel to the Bahamas in less than a day now!

Overall a fantastic experience on a brand new ship, specially designed for Caribbean or warm weather cruising with extended outdoor deck spaces for lounging and pools on lower decks in addition to upper deck so you can love the shade or the sun depending on the time of day. Fun rides and games great for older kids and adults like the Tee Time Mini Golf, Drop Dry Slide, Twin Racing Aqua Coasters, Glow Court Interactive Games, and an entire arcade with Duck Pin Bowling. Dinner options are spread out across two main dining rooms, a buffet, an Indulge food hall with international cuisine, local pub & cafe, and 6 additional speciality restaurants. Casual clothing is welcome everywhere on ship and all nights. The current cruise director likes to theme nights according to decades, plus a glow party night- main late night activity after main stage performers is dance party with DJ or sitting in a lounge listening to musicians or comedian. Excellent thermal spa worth the extra spend for the trip if you need quiet spaces to escape and relax, but doesn't offer any true hydro-massage, mostly heat therapies and cold contrast therapies.

But after seeing the ads and reviews for Virgin Voyages, I was intrigued, especially by the adults-only concept, so I decided to try a solo trip. I sailed on the Scarlet Lady for a 5-night cruise out of Miami, with stops in Key West and Bimini. Pros: - Virgin really puts thought into the solo traveler experience. I received a welcome note in my cabin with details about a solo meetup on day one, which made it easy to connect with other travelers and dedicated crew members. - Black Friday deals made it possible to book without paying a double occupancy supplement, which is a huge win for solo trips. - The option to bid for a cabin upgrade was a nice perk for securing more space and a better location. - Dining reservations for the more popular restaurants can be secured once you board. If you miss out initially, you can still join a waitlist directly at the restaurant. - Being able to go straight to your cabin upon boarding was super convenient, and my luggage arrived within a hour. - The sail away party, complete with unlimited champagne and high-energy music, really set the tone for the trip. - The food options were a highlight. Between the rotating ice cream shop, late-night pizza spot, Opa Hour tapas, and The Galley (the avocado toast and desserts had a serious hold on me), there was always something good to eat. - The PJ party was a whole vibe. The DJ kept the energy up with a diverse playlist that had everyone engaged. - The balcony hammock in the cabin is elite. It's the perfect spot to unwind, and a nap is almost guaranteed. Cons: - The pools are on the smaller side and not very deep. - The music playlist can feel repetitive at times. I noticed the same songs playing in the same order two nights in a row. - The complimentary Wi-Fi is inconsistent. It worked fine for scrolling, but streaming apps like Spotify were a struggle. - While most of the staff were great, a few interactions felt less than welcoming, which stood out. - The beach club in Bimini was overcrowded. By the time I arrived around noon, finding a lounge chair was a challenge. Overall, there are clearly more pros than cons when it comes to sailing with Virgin. While I'm still not fully sold on cruising as a whole, this experience definitely shifted my perspective. I'm already considering another Virgin trip; it just might be the one that converts me.

The restaurants that were unique to this ship compared to the last one I was on were the " Chi-Bang", Cucina del Capitano, Teppanyaki and the steakhouse. I also really enjoyed the pizza from the " pizzeria del capitano" as it was very thin and had fresh ingredients! We did eat at the " cucina del capitano" one night for free, but it wasn't anything special, so I wouldn't go again for $8 per person. The rest of the cruise food was the average meals that you get on all ships--- a bit on the heavier side and tough on my digestive system, but it was nice to have the opportunity to skip the seated dinners to eat a quick salad at the buffet or have other lighter meal. In regards to the layout of this ship, I felt that it was a bit confusing and I definitely missed having the central atrium that was present in all other ships. However, we were fortunate enough to have a room in floor 16 so we could be close to the Lido and serenity. Speaking of serenity--- on previous ships, this was on the back of the boat and thus made for a less windy experience, whereas this time it was located on the front of the boat and you were lucky if your food or towels didn't blow away. My other critique of Celebration is that many attractions required an additional cost--- if you're going to advertise a " roller coaster at sea!" , then you shouldn't be charging guests an additional $15 per person to ride it ONCE. Our local 6 Flags has better deals than that. Furthermore due to the high winds and chilly temperatures during our cruise, the " Bolt" rollercoaster was closed more often than it was open. As a result, when we tried to book a ride, they were all sold out. The ropes course and the water slides are free, thankfully, but one of the slides was broken during our trip, so that was a bummer. In regards to the shows and entertainment on this ship, Carnival Celebration blew all the other ships out of the water ( pun intended). Color my world, We Are One, Noche Cubana, and the circus show were absolutely AMAZING. I felt like I was watching some " cirque du Soleil" shows on the cruise ship, and was very impressed! As usual, their Punchliner comedy shows were also hilarious, and they were always a great end to the evening. Overall, due to the greediness of the owners of the ship in making us pay extra for random unnecessary things, I give the ship a 4/5. That rating also includes the fact that, despite advertising " Celebration Key" as a Carnival owner island, all the activities one would want to partake in cost money. I wish cruise ships would stop getting greedy and instead focus on keeping their customers happy by avoiding extra unnecessary charges.

The suite life was definitely not as great as Royal Caribbean! The things that we like were the spa shower, the Loft deck (for suite guests use only) and the complimentary bottle of wine. The best perk for booking a suite was the nice size of the room. Unlike Royal Caribbean there was no suite lounge or daily reception. No concierge for booking spa treatments, fine dining etc! There was no coffee available in the suite. There were no treats left by the room attendant. There is reserved seating at all events on Royal not Carnival. Carnival only allowed one meal on their private island Celebration Key (after that you have to pay) Royal provides an endless buffet. There was no private area for suite guests like on Royal Caribbean's private island. The thing I disliked the most about this Carnival cruise was the presence of so much security they were three or four deep everywhere on the ship. In the Limelight club the DJ stopped the music, the lights were turned on and security addressed cruisers with drinks in there hands and no shoes on the dance floor (this happened 4 times while we were there during which the DJ scorned the crowd) It was so tacky. Didn't go back there again. We ate most nights at the Lido Marketplace ( buffet). I like having choices and the food was generally good with the exception of the chicken three times we found it undercooked. The ChiBang restaurant was underwhelming. The appetizers were good the dinner entrees so much. Guys burger joint was delicious just a little salty. The coffee offered in the Lido Marketplace was weak. We had to buy coffee everyday to get a decent cup. The cruise staff were really friendly. The New Year's Eve event was okay. (I like the two Royal Caribbean new years cruises better.) We skipped visiting St. John and Amber Cove ports opting to enjoy the quiet boat instead. Disembarking the boat was quick and easy because we got to the staging area very early and carried our own luggage. Though the walk pushing my luggage back to the car was no fun.
