The review is for celebration rather than carnival as a whole: After traveling many different cruise lines, i found this ship to be way too crowded and the layout of some of the decks are horrible. The center stage is a good idea with horrible design. The live music was really good, but the shows were all pretty bad. Most importantly, if you're reading this and new to carnival. Let's just say this ship lives up to the bad reputation. Terrible behavior all over the ship and carnival has little control or staff to create a better experience

This is the ultimate Christmas cruise!!! Everyone is in the holiday spirit and you'll see everything from holiday pajamas to the Grinch lounging with you on the beach at different ports. Go! Pack your Christmas pjs and get going! Don't delay. You'll be happy that you did.

Gold Card member yay!!!! I went on a Mother's Day Cruise 2024 and just returned home. Carnival Celebration owes me nothing. Check in process, embarking and debarking was speedy . Website paperwork was easy to access, my cruise travel agent Audra Cook did an amazing job on my cruise package. All staff from taking our luggage from shuttle to getting it on the ship , to our cruise director Lee, housekeeping staff, cooks, entertainment, comedians, servers , guest services etc did an amazing job. Kudos for being so attentive, helpful and friendly. This ship is huge , many directions to go. Download the Carnival Hub app and it's the ship directory in your hands. So informative. A hr by hr detailed itenary of activities. Also help you see and or make reservations, restaurants names , shore excursions, planners . They have a new process where you can pay $5 to chat across the site to friends and families. Heads up whoever you want to chat with must pay :( I felt this should automatically be available at least to your room to be able to find each other . The ship is huge and you're bound to lose track of each other in 7 days. (Ijs) . Food was delicious, EVERYTHING in my opinion, if you didn't like something, pick up something else simple. We tried Rudi's Seagrill , Fahrenheit 555, and Bonsai Teppanyaki. Each place gives you a starter, appetizer, Entree and dessert. So much food . Drinks were amazing!!! Games were Family Feud, Love and Marriage, Deal or no deal. This ship is one of the newest for 2024 and I really enjoyed it . Until my next cruise 5 star for sure !!

I have very mixed reviews on this one. I'm torn so I will give it a 3.5. I've cruised with Carnival multiple times, but this time was the worst. New boat, but that's it. I'll start with my luggage. My luggage wasn't delivered to my room until late. About 7pm. We sailed off at 4. I checked in at 1130 am, so why so long for my bag to be delivered? So many people were looking an waiting on bags. The two people who I dropped my bags with in my group got their bags hours before me but they were on the same cart. Made no sense. Cleanliness- the level of cleanliness I've experienced on Carnival has declined. Almost everyday, I found hair in my bed, in the showers, or somewhere in the room. My floors weren't vacuumed or if they were, not well. Food- There were so many options to choose from but not many were good. Everything was super bland. I had nachos with no cheese....where is this done at?!? The specialty restaurants should've been regular because there was nothing special about them. Also, everyone doesn't eat pork, so why would you use a utensil for cutting pork items and then non-pork items! I think they should get dietary restrictions and work as such. There were a lot of fun things to do on this boat. There were a lot of great shows on this boat. You barely could enjoy any of them because of the space available or just being overly crowded. I understand this boat had about 6500 people on it. They needed more adult areas/pools. Serenity area was always slammed packed. All pools were crowded. So it was a no for me. There was a group of 9 of us who went. Majority hadn't cruised before and they had a blast. I had fun and didn't. Our ports were awesome. Not sure if I'll do another Carnival after this one. Oh, this is specifically about the USVI port! No one should be harassed as bad as we were here. You come to enjoy the area but were asked 100 times about buying some jewelry from those Carnival connected stores....I'm on vacation and I don't care about Tanzanite! I'll go to a reputable jewelry store and buy what I want. Leave me alone! This is the worst part about it! Anyway, if you e made it this far, you get it....I didn't really love this cruise. I loved the military appreciation gathering, the Veterans area, Shaq's Big Chicken, Guy's Burger Shack, the water slides....and that's about it!

With this being the newest ship in Carnival's fleet, it was very new looking, sleek, and had plenty to do on board. The food exceeded my expectations, and the staff were as wonderful as can be. The ship layout however, is very strange, and I honestly didn't like it. The main theater on the side of the middle of ship just doesn't work, and walking anywhere requires navigating through a maze. I think this ship is a step in the right direction for Carnival, but the ship is still lacking. I think a better interior design would make this a truly spectacular ship. Still had a great time, and I'm sure you will too! Stay Fresh Mother Fooders! :p

This was my 16th cruise with Carnival and I must say this was a nice ship. Everything was great from the time I walked on the ship until it was time to leave. The food was good so many food options I didn't get to try out every thing. The newer ships are really a change of pace for me since I've been cruising awhile. Staff is always wonderful and will accommodate you the best way that they can. Only downfall i really dontt care for on thr newer ships are the auditorium are not the biggest, so if you looking to see a show u might want to get a head start about 30 mins prior.

    Frozen Drink

The drinks was good. I did Karaoke it was so crowded. The service was okay. When I walked in to the comedy room there was this Lady being so rude and nasty and disrespectful like was guarding the door the whole time. The food was warm I wish they had a microwave. The elevators took a long time to come also the elevators was skipping floors and everybody wanted to get on the elevator. They need some AC in the elevator it's so hot in the elevator. The breakfast line for the Omelet station was very long. The IceCream was Delicious. I had an IceCream making class. The pizza was good. The Pizza was the only thing that was hot

So I got an AMAZING deal for an 8 day cruise to aruba curaco and bonaire and I took it. My sister and i celebrated our birthdays and we had a fantastic time. The food was redundant at the buffet but that's to be expected. Breakfast bounced back and forth between pancakes and bacon or French toast and sausage. The drinks were amazing especially the Lychee martini in the casino which was always provided to us by Nelson who was absolutely amazing, by the end he knew our drink orders and where we would be in the casino. The rooms are your normal cruise rooms nothing special but we were only ever in there for sleeping and showering. The serenity area is such a relaxing place and if you find the right area the breeze is perfect. I never got into the pool because they are usually crowded except for on port days. My favorite lunch spot was the salad bar called fresh creations in the serenity area topped with chicken from shaqs chicken. They also had Gelato in the buffet during lunch and of course ice cream machines that had frozen yogurt flavors were vanilla chocolate and strawberry. The strawberry wasn't good in my opinion. The comedians were hilarious and i did tend to prefer them over the shows in the middle of the ship but the game shows in the main auditorium were great. Leon the cruise director was amazing and Bam the host for most comedy shows was a sweetheart. I miss being on the boat but 8 days is a long time!

My family and I sailed aboard the Carnival Celebration on a trip out of Miami to Amber Cove in the Dominican Republic; San Juan, Puerto Rico and Saint Thomas, Virgin Islands from May 7-13 2023. It was an amazing trip that we will remember for the rest of our lives. The ship, which is the current flagship for Carnival Cruise Lines, is gigantic! According to some information I found online, "coming in at 1,130 ft long and 137 ft wide, it's roughly the length of 3.1 football fields, as wide as 2.6 tractor trailers, and the same height as a 17-story building." Yeah this is big. There is plenty to do on the Celebration as it is sailing from port to port. There are trivia games, a video arcade, bars, a mini golf course, a basketball court, table tennis, corn hole, an obstacle course, and even a rollercoaster. Yes! You read that right, a rollercoaster! It is a lot of fun! There are plenty of pools to relax in as well. You can also gamble. There are also parties and live events a plenty! Plenty of shopping can be done here. There is a duty free liquor store, candy shop, perfume store, jewelry stores and so much more! It also has tons of restaurants and bars as well! There is also a fully stocked medical center. I can tell you the care is top notch, I had to use their services on the day before last I was on the ship. The rooms are also very comfortable. At least the two my family got were. We got Cove Balconies. Plenty of room and amazing views! The Celebration has it all!

    You're the best!

Carnival Celebrations...main dinning room staff was the best!!! Ty Suyana and staff for going above and beyond!

I absolutely love Carnival cruise line. The newest ships are the best. They are so much better than the older fleet. So many restaurants to choose from. From sushi to Guys Burgers. The food is a 4 but the ship itself is a 5. The entertainment is so much better than years past and nonstop fun. Go when kids are in school crowds are less. But they have plenty for the kiddos. Celebration is a beautiful ship!

Support is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for passengers needing help with reservations, flight changes, cancellations, rebooking, baggage inquiries, refunds, and other travel-related concerns. The customer service team assists travelers with managing existing bookings, updating itineraries, exploring alternative travel options, and addressing questions throughout the travel process. ##High Expectations, Average Experience## As an Emerald member of the oneworld alliance, I have consistently enjoyed complimentary seat selection when traveling with partner airlines, so I expected a similar level of service from American Airlines. Unfortunately, this flight did not meet those expectations. I paid an additional $140 for seats that were displayed during the booking process as offering a more desirable layout. However, after my wife and I boarded the aircraft, we discovered that the actual seating configuration differed from what had been presented online. Paying an extra fee for seats that did not match the advertised arrangement was an unfortunate start to the journey. ##Seat Comfort Left Much to Be Desired## My assigned seat, 6K, lacked the level of comfort I anticipated for a long-haul flight. The cushioning felt inadequate, and the limited lumbar support made it difficult to remain comfortable for extended periods. I relied on extra pillows and blankets throughout much of the flight to ease the discomfort. Considering the premium price paid for seat selection, I expected a noticeably better seating experience. ##Customer Support Was Difficult to Navigate## Obtaining basic flight information turned out to be far more complicated than necessary. My first call was to an American Airlines representative in Detroit, who transferred me to another department, reportedly based in Chicago. There, I was informed they were unable to assist and was given yet another contact number. That conversation ultimately redirected me back to the Detroit office. After several transfers and repeating the same questions multiple times, I finally reached someone who could provide the information I had originally requested. ##Well-Maintained Aircraft, Inconsistent Cabin Experience## The aircraft itself appeared modern, clean, and well maintained, and the flight attendants remained courteous, attentive, and professional despite managing a full cabin. As the journey continued, however, the onboard atmosphere became noticeably less pleasant. Several passengers were disruptive and noisy, while the lavatories gradually became untidy, with wet floors, messy sinks, and cleanliness that declined as the flight progressed. ##Overall Impression## The professionalism of the cabin crew deserves recognition, as they handled a demanding flight with courtesy and efficiency. Nevertheless, the uncomfortable seating, confusing customer service process, and declining cabin cleanliness ultimately had a greater impact on the overall experience. Based on this trip, I would carefully compare other airlines before selecting American Airlines for a similar journey in the future. ##Reliable Journey & Smooth Arrival## The flight departed with only a minor delay and arrived close to schedule. Inflight snack and beverage services were delivered efficiently, and baggage delivery after arrival moved relatively quickly. Unfortunately, customer service before departure proved frustrating. I initially contacted a representative in Seattle regarding flight details and aircraft information. I was then transferred to another department, believed to be located in Portland, where I was informed they could not assist and provided another contact number. After several transfers and repeated explanations, I was eventually redirected back to the original department before finally receiving the information I needed.

The ship itself was in decent shape despite its age, and our room was comfortable with a great view. Our room attendant, Rio, was excellent, and our dining room waiters, Walter and Lou, were truly outstanding and a highlight of the trip. However, several issues significantly impacted our experience. We noticed ongoing problems with toilets not flushing consistently while docked, including in our stateroom and around the ship, which became increasingly concerning toward the end of the cruise. The biggest frustration came from the spa and Guest Services regarding billing and refunds. We made changes to prepaid spa services on embarkation day, but were later charged incorrectly and told conflicting information for several days about refunds that should have been straightforward. Despite multiple visits and calls to Guest Services and assurances that it would be resolved, there was no clear communication or follow-through until several days later when the refund finally appeared. While individual crew members were excellent, the lack of consistency, communication, and accountability from the spa and Guest Services left us very disappointed overall. This experience has made us seriously reconsider future cruises with this line.

Game‑Changer…read more Norwegian Cruise Line delivered a really enjoyable vacation overall, but let's call it like it is: this isn't the most kid‑centric cruise line out there. If you're expecting wall‑to‑wall family programming, this isn't that. That said, the Kids Academy was an absolute hit--the staff was fantastic, the activities kept the little ones happy, and it quickly became the go‑to spot. And the arcade? Total blast. Easily one of the highlights for the kids (and, let's be honest, the adults too). Entertainment-wise, the shows could use a little more spark. Nothing bad, just missing that "wow, we need to see that again" energy. A bit more excitement or variety would go a long way. Now... the part that bumps this from a 3.5 to a solid 4 stars: The Haven. We scored a deal, and if you know, you know. Private restaurant, priority everything, a butler who somehow appears exactly when you need them--it's a different world up there. The Haven experience smooths out every rough edge and turns the whole trip into something special. Overall, Norwegian delivered a great cruise with a few areas that could level up, but thanks to The Haven, it felt like a truly elevated getaway. Would absolutely sail again--especially if another Haven deal pops up. Bon Voyage

But after seeing the ads and reviews for Virgin Voyages, I was intrigued, especially by the adults-only concept, so I decided to try a solo trip. I sailed on the Scarlet Lady for a 5-night cruise out of Miami, with stops in Key West and Bimini. Pros: - Virgin really puts thought into the solo traveler experience. I received a welcome note in my cabin with details about a solo meetup on day one, which made it easy to connect with other travelers and dedicated crew members. - Black Friday deals made it possible to book without paying a double occupancy supplement, which is a huge win for solo trips. - The option to bid for a cabin upgrade was a nice perk for securing more space and a better location. - Dining reservations for the more popular restaurants can be secured once you board. If you miss out initially, you can still join a waitlist directly at the restaurant. - Being able to go straight to your cabin upon boarding was super convenient, and my luggage arrived within a hour. - The sail away party, complete with unlimited champagne and high-energy music, really set the tone for the trip. - The food options were a highlight. Between the rotating ice cream shop, late-night pizza spot, Opa Hour tapas, and The Galley (the avocado toast and desserts had a serious hold on me), there was always something good to eat. - The PJ party was a whole vibe. The DJ kept the energy up with a diverse playlist that had everyone engaged. - The balcony hammock in the cabin is elite. It's the perfect spot to unwind, and a nap is almost guaranteed. Cons: - The pools are on the smaller side and not very deep. - The music playlist can feel repetitive at times. I noticed the same songs playing in the same order two nights in a row. - The complimentary Wi-Fi is inconsistent. It worked fine for scrolling, but streaming apps like Spotify were a struggle. - While most of the staff were great, a few interactions felt less than welcoming, which stood out. - The beach club in Bimini was overcrowded. By the time I arrived around noon, finding a lounge chair was a challenge. Overall, there are clearly more pros than cons when it comes to sailing with Virgin. While I'm still not fully sold on cruising as a whole, this experience definitely shifted my perspective. I'm already considering another Virgin trip; it just might be the one that converts me.

I was concerned about the ship capacity at 7,600 passengers being so crowded that I would be able to get around easily or even find a nice place to relax on the sun decks. This was not the case at all. We were at capacity on our cruise and there was always a lounge chair open and open table in the windjammer buffet area. I will say there are times during the day if your looking for shady place to relax can occasionally be difficult, but still rare. There was so much going on entertainment wise that we didn't even get to do it all. I tend to be a person that likes to pack in as much as I can on vacation and on past cruises got bored because there wasn't enough to do. This was never the case on this ship. If anything I was wishing for more time to find more fun. I am an early riser and usually started my day around 6:30 am and shut it down around midnight, so I really did try to maximize the experience. I would 100% cruise on this ship a dozen more times and would highly recommend it. I had a couple of cons though. First the advertised sofa bed for cabins with 3 people is not a bed. It is just a sofa that they put sheets on. I was pretty upset when I found out my 21 year old son had to sleep on a couch for a week. Second, 3 of the water slides were out of service for the entire cruise. Kinda disappointing since it's one of the most impressive features of the ship.

Wow! What a ship! I…read morehave been on prior cruises with Royal Caribbean and Icon is the biggest one I have been on so far. Our family of four was blessed and fortunate to have the opportunity to be able to experience the ship. We departed Miami, had two days at sea, with port days at Costa Maya, Honduras, and Cozumel. It was a fantastic week sailing in paradise! It was quick to get on since we went a couple hours after it first opened to the guests. We were able to leave our luggage to be brought to our room before going through the terminal. The staff practiced safety and made sure the passengers got through the check-in process quickly. When we walked in, we were amazed on how big it actually is. Seeing pictures and watching videos prior to going on board doesn't do justice like being there in person. The ship is absolutely stunning and we received phnemonal service throughout the entire journey by all the staff members. The junior suite we stayed in was kept clean and the beds were made neat when we were out of the room for a few hours at a time. The stateroom attendant greeted us daily and we had a good amount of space for each of us. The extra storage in the closet made a huge difference. The bathroom was nice with a shower and tub combination along with a vanity with drawers and shelves for items. It was so nice not to have water flowing from the shower since it happens in an outside cabin with a smaller bathroom. There was plenty to eat and drink on board. Calories do not count! There was an endless buffet at the Windjammer Cafe that we stuffed our faces at most of the time. We ate in the main dining room, Coastal Kitchen, and had room service a couple of times to the room. The Grove, which is only available to suite guests, was lovely. It had bites and drinks for us to enjoy at certain times along with a pool and a hot tub with less people. If you are able to afford a suite, I highly recommend it since it was more private and the staff members were really accommodating. There is a "compass" for each day of the itinerary, which lists the schedule of activities and times of restaurants will be open. We could play at the casino, eat, go swimming in one of the pools, watch a show, drink, play bingo, eat again, explore the ship, duck hunting, shop until you drop, and other countless things to enjoy while you're on board. We chose to bring our luggage with us for the early departure since we didn't want to have to wait to be called by number on the last morning of the trip. The staff members were extremely helpful with the questions we had and guided us to where we needed to go if we were lost. A cruise ship is one of the best vacations you can go on with the transportation, room, food, and entertainment included in the price. It's cost effective and the things you have pay for is the additional services they offer, such as the spa, adult beverages, photography, specialty restaurants, shops, and excursions.
