And I loved our view of the port & Bayfront Park from our room. That convenience was offset by the utter lack of parking at the hotel. In fact, this property should really remove all references to on-site or valet parking from their website. Parking of any kind is simply not available for 98% of their guests. We tried 3 separate times to valet park in their tiny parking lot, unsuccessfully. We finally gave up & found parking for around $12 in a garage about 3 blocks away, which wasn't ideal in hot & rainy Florida. That parking garage was actually further from this hotel than the Kesaya Center! Our room was clean (you know I checked the mattresses), and very large with a full size sofa & lots of windows overlooking Biscayne Blvd. We had a great view of the observation wheel in Bayfront Park & could see glimpses of the cruise ships at the port. That said, every single thing in this room was very dated. My staff encounters were minimal, and none were outstanding in any way, positive or negative. We didn't use any of the amenities as we were only here one night for that concert, & the lack of parking sucked up all of our spare time. The actual parking situation will be a factor for future stays, but I'd consider staying here again for the proximity to Kesaya Center.

Upon entering its lobby, a very good impression with its modern design appears to my mind. The guest room is bigger than Kimpton Hotels' in Los Angeles (Beverly Hills).  Also, the bed is very comfortable - we had a very good sleep. Due to its unique location, all guests rooms were sold out yesterday, today and tomorrow (2/28/2025) - Thanks for many mega cruise ships will begin sailing on Saturday, 2/29/2025. I am a little bit surprised that this hotel does not have a hot tub while most Holiday Inn and Suites have both a pool and hot tub (note: its swim pool has been closed for a while). This hotel honors an IHG Platinum member's benefit by offering two complimentary drinks (wines, beers, or sparkling wine, etc.), 600 IHG points, and free upgrade if a room is available upon check-in. This hotel adds a good value to an IHG brand name. Thank IHG for letting us find this hotel in Miami - we have achieved a price & performance goal. The Marina Bay Seafood Coastal Kitchen entered into the hotel one year ago and provides a very good all-you-can-eat buffet at $34 per person including tax and tips (daily hours: 7:00 to 11:00 a.m., and 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.) Wish list: Some floors and guestrooms should be remodeled because the carpet on the 3rd floor is too old, which may apply to those guestrooms on the same floor. Note: A BigBus (a tour bus) will stop in front of the hotel as station #8.

At check in they offer a free hotel coupon for one free drink at the bar which we used on a spritz and also grabbed some light bites. There is also tons of restaurants nearby in the downstairs area to choose from. The rooms were massive and had more than enough space and the great amenities expected the price and quality of this hotel. We never went to the pool since we were there a short amount of time. The beds were also very comfortable. The downstairs cafes next to the lobby was a bit slow in service and took so long to help the customer before us we just stopped at another coffee place before heading home. The parking fee is outrageous though since it's $75 a night with no in and out privileges so your options are park somewhere nearby or just uber everywhere you need to go until it's time for you and your group to go home. The first issue occurred when I ordered groceries and went to get a cart because the bags were too heavy for me to carry to my room on the elevator by myself. When I attempted to use a cart, Supervisor Isa approached me with an attitude and abruptly stated that I could not take it. I politely asked if I could simply bring it back after unloading my groceries, and he again said no. He stated that he would have someone bring the groceries up for me, but his tone and demeanor were unnecessarily rude. He then grabbed the cart and pulled it away from me in a disrespectful manner. Afterward, he walked over to the front desk, said something to Julissa, and she laughed. When I asked what the issue was, neither of them provided a professional response. I will say that the bellman who assisted me with my groceries was very pleasant, courteous, and helpful. The second incident occurred on my last night at the hotel/residence. While cleaning out the condo and removing my trash, I called the front desk three separate times to ask where the trash chute was located because I could not find it. No one answered. I eventually had to go downstairs carrying a trash bag in my hand, only to find Isa and Julissa standing at the front desk. When I approached Julissa and explained that I had called multiple times seeking assistance, her response was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. I then asked Supervisor Isa where the trash chute was and why no one had answered the phone. He responded with an attitude, stating that the phones do not ring at the desk. When I requested corporate contact information or the name of someone above him, he refused to provide it and instead instructed me to call the same number that had gone unanswered. The level of customer service displayed by both employees was unacceptable. Guests should be treated with respect and professionalism, regardless of the situation. Based on my experience, I would not stay at this property again, nor would I recommend it to others. The behavior I encountered left me feeling disrespected and unwelcome, and I believe management should seriously address these customer service concerns. Very racist establishment. Do not stay here!!

Walking distance to a Publix, the mall, bakery, etc. The hotel checkin is on the 6th floor, the first floor is mainly a seating area and concierge. They offer free hot breakfast, mini fridge and microwave in the room, cruise shuttle at time of this review is priced at $12 with pick up times at 10a, 11a, and 12p. If you miss breakfast, they had breakfast bags with fruit and other grab and go items. You will need your room key to access the laundry room and guest floors. There is no carpet in the room I was in (basic king- not the elite level) and pets are not allowed. Service animals only. The hotel has a lobby bar, three restaurants are located right next door (Sproutz, Batch Gastropub, and Shahs of Kabob). I dined at Sproutz and Shahas of Kabob and both are good, but they are not affiliated with the hotel. I stayed 3 nights prior to my cruise and I really enjoyed my stay. The air conditioner worked with no issues, pillows are very soft, bed was firm, but not uncomfortable and I slept better in that bed, than my own. There is a master light switch to control the overhead light in the entry and bathroom. You can operate them separately (it just takes some flipping of lights to figure it out). Decent water pressure and nice, hot water at night. Morning time I suggest getting your shower in early. Hot water is still present but not as hot as it was the night before. Tip- I took my shower at 5/6am the morning of checkout and the water was hot and perfect for a nice shower before leaving for cruise. Staff was always smiling, friendly and willing to assist. Carlos at the concerige desk is very helpful, ask for his recommendations and he is more than happy to assist. The 7th floor has the laundry facility, but many machines were out of order. This is going on my pre cruise hotel list because it was the perfect hotel and the perfect location. It was about a 15min ride to the cruise port and airport. The cruise port ride was booked for 8am, so I beat the 9am bumper car cruise port traffic. The video I posted is short and quick, but a glimpse of the room

We had a two day stay before heading out on a cruise. An extended vacation if you will. The service was phenomenal! We stayed on the Elite Level which provided extra goodies, and benefits. Sharing a picture below of what they define as the elite level and the benefits included. The location is perfect, in the middle of all things Brickell/Downtown. We were surrounded by restaurants/eateries, coffee shops, stores, the park, city centre you name it! Super convenient because we didn't need to call a Lyft to get around. So you better believe on the days we did go out, we got our steps in. It's giving HEALTH! 2026 who?! We are starting NOW honey! Okay, back to the review....hot (and cold if you're into that) breakfast was served each morning for free! You read that correctly. Free food honey. I mean you did pay for it so why not go ahead and eat? Your business not mine. Non-smoking hotel. Pools. Fitness center. The whole ordeal. A little store with snacks, drinks, and whatever else you feel you may need or want. I should also add that the hotel prides themselves on being accessible. Let's move towards cleanliness. Because cleanliness is next to what?! Godliness! Okay, I see yall! The room oozed of cleaning products. You would have thought the staff had just left from pouring Clorox and whatever other good smells needed to make a space smell delicious. Oozing with fresh aromas! The bed, not mine, but theres, was one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in when traveling. Hotel beds typically don't bring out the best in me, I am in fear of all beds that are not my own. Laugh if you must but I am who I am! However, a soft bed with clean linings - sign me TF up. The elite levels are on the 14th and 15th floors. They provide robes and slippers. Did not wear the robe. Read what I said about the beds and sit with that. Anyway, I did wear the slippers and they are about as thin as a sheet of loose leaf paper lmao! The chair rolled on top of mine and ripped the back of it so they lasted about 12 hours for me. #SelfInflicted I know. It's a nice touch to have in your hotel room though. Me personally, I travel with slippers. As I bring this review to a close, I want to highlight the staff members that assisted during the stay. Mr. Ernest, Russell, and everyone else at the front desk that extended a warm welcome and consistent assistance. Thank you again! One hiccup that was addressed immediately. They have an "in-room dining option." This particular policy states that you can order food and have the food delivered to your room. Okay convenience! And accessibility! Well I ordered some food from a nearby eatery and the delivery person was not allowed up. "We don't allow people to come up to the rooms for safety reasons." Heard. And appreciated. Truly!! They value safety. My issue was when asked about the policy in place, being asked if I had a medical condition to where I couldn't come down and to get my delivery. While a relevant question, that is something I'd recommend treading lightly around. You never know anyone's health/medical condition. Furthermore, if your policy states one thing then every staff member needs to be on one accord. The issue was taken care of and the person was able to deliver my order. The front desk member was also not rude just inquiring. I appreciate how quickly the matter was resolved. If you're headed on a cruise or you're in need of a nice hotel that is conveniently located, Hampton Inn Brickell is your girl (or boy), be who you are!

We stayed in a two-bedroom suite with a bay view, and it was huge, complete with a sofa bed, full kitchen, and very comfortable beds. The amenities were great as well, and we enjoyed some time by the pool during our stay. That said, there were a couple of things that took away from the experience. Upon check-in, we were informed of a $200 per day security deposit, which was not clearly disclosed during booking. On top of that, about $67 per day is automatically kept to cover amenities like the gym, pool, and Wi-Fi, which I personally feel should already be included in the rate. Another downside was the pool bar. The drinks were honestly not good, we tried one of the tropical frozen options and couldn't even finish it. Also, while not directly rude to us, the server seemed a bit disorganized and made a comment about another guest that came across as unprofessional. Overall, it's still a nice place for a fun weekend getaway, and I would recommend it, but just be aware of the additional fees and manage expectations around the pool service.

What stood out to me immediately was the leadership behind this operation. I had the pleasure of speaking directly with Mr. Ramirez, the manager, and he is the kind of leader you rarely encounter. His presence reflects confidence, pride, and a deep commitment to excellence. You can tell he doesn't just manage--he actively develops his team, sets a clear standard, and leads with intention. The consistency in service--from housekeeping to valet to registration--is a direct reflection of his leadership, attention to detail, and investment in his staff. In a busy, high-class establishment, that level of cohesion and professionalism is truly impressive. Nichole, the concierge, is gracious, kind, and warm, with exceptional active listening skills. She makes every interaction feel personalized and genuinely welcoming, embodying the friendly professionalism that defines this hotel. The rooms are modern, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, complete with a full refrigerator, stove, microwave, and even a toaster--everything you need for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly soft and comfortable, providing one of the best nights of sleep I've had while traveling. The rooms are also built so well that you don't hear any outside noise, making it feel like your own private apartment. We stayed in a skyline-view room with a balcony, and the view of the city was absolutely stunning. The amenities were just as impressive--the pool is large and beautiful, and the hot tub is spacious and incredibly relaxing. I also appreciated the added layer of security--the key card system only allows access to your specific floor, which makes you feel safe and well taken care of. Everything about this stay exceeded expectations, and the photos online are completely accurate--they truly reflect the level of quality you'll experience. I sincerely hope this review reaches the brand management team at the Elser Hotel, as it highlights the exceptional leadership, dedication, and uncompromising attention to detail demonstrated by Mr. Ramirez, along with Nichole and the entire team who consistently elevate the guest experience to a truly outstanding standard. I would highly recommend the Elser Hotel to anyone visiting Miami and will absolutely be returning.
