Norwegian Cruise Line is my go to cruise line for vacation. Having gone on a couple of them and never having any problems is something that is very shocking to me because how many things could go wrong. I love their building in the port of Miami, it is very clean and nicely laid out with there being many many seats here so I don't have to fight or hunt for any seats while I am waiting to board the ship. Staff is very nice and the security is very quick with checking bags and getting you checked in for the cruise. The couple ships that I have been on have been very clean and have some of the friendliest staff that I have ever met in the travel business. I will say there have been a couple times there was a difficulty in understanding a bartender here and there but that isn't anything to get upset about on my end. The shows and entertainment they have to offer on their ships is always wonderful and being able to just relax and not deal with screaming crowds is also a huge win in my opinion. My only complaint about NCL is that their elevator situation is always tough because they are rather slow on both of the ships I have been on, but that isn't something they can do anything about!

Best staff . Great massage , pedicure and highlights done amazingly and spa 10/10 . Plus the private island at great stirrup cay is the best kept secret to best drinks of my life .

I have traveled with Norwegian a bunch of times, more than any other cruise line. My first time with Norwegian was to the Bahamas and sailed from NYC to Orlando, FL, Nassau, Bahamas, and back to NYC on the Breakaway. It was a one week trip with my husband (when we were first dating to see how we traveled together). I had food poisoning the first four days of our trip. The ship itself was nice and we enjoyed our aft-balcony so much that that was the only way we'd ever book a cabin again, especially because we were treated to the cabin with a butler. Despite the food poisoning, we had a lot of fun and enjoyed our trip. We were bummed that they skipped their island for an extra evening in Nassau. Second time with Norwegian was through Australia and New Zealand for two weeks on the Jewel. This was one of the best trips we've ever had and everything was planned out perfectly. We were able to visit every port on the itinerary and everything ran smoothly. It was this trip that made us love NCL. Third time with NCL was on the Dawn for a two weeks sailing on the west coast of Africa, starting in Cape Town, South Africa and ending in Barcelona, Spain. This was the trip that made us realize we will no longer be sailing with NCL (and if we do, it's because of a really good deal). This itinerary was originally phenomenal, but after purchasing our cabin, they cancelled 2 ports (including Morocco which was a main reason we booked this ship). While on the cruise, they skipped another port. Dawn was going to be on drydock for refurbishing after this itinerary and you could tell that everything was just pure lazy. 2 nights of entertainment on a 2 week cruise, out of so many types of food and beverages, and at one point, our cleaning guy left broken glass on our bed. This trip was particularly stressful because my husband became very ill on this trip and we ended up using the infirmary for a good week, including going to the hospital in Namibia. The medical staff are truly amazing on NCL, albeit, expensive no doubt. Dawn is a horrible ship that needs to retire. Our cabinet doors were hanging down, holes in the curtains, and the ship in general was just in poor shape. The food was mediocre except for the restaurants you pay extra for. Overall, NCL has gone down hill terribly. Pre-COVID, NCL was fantastic! But now, they've cut corners. I prefer Princess, now.

We are loyal to NCL and working toward gold level for more perks. The crew we find so eager to please and the food is always good. Service is excellent. Our destinations from Miami on the NCL Jewel was Cayman, Panama Canal, Costa Rica, Cozumel. Each with some great excursion options. Mixed crowd and ages from all over the world due to these destinations. Our highlight was seeing in person while being narrated through the locks on the Panama Canal. Enjoy!

This was our second cruise, but the first with Norwegian Cruise Line. There were several things that we liked, however, there were things that left us with questions and frustration. When we booked our cruise then we did so with the understanding that Spice H20 an adults only area would be opened. While it was in fact 'open', there wasn't any H20 to be found in the hot tub... This was part of the reasoning we booked this particular ship, The Encore. The onboard show, The Choir of Man, was excellent! So much so that we saw it twice. A very interactive show that was different each night. The elevators are small and solid whereas our last cruise had glass elevators that made it seem not so claustrophobic... Food was good most of the time. I loved that we ate dinner whenever we liked and didn't need a reservation.

We love NCL very much. This was our first time floatin' out of Florida, and we truly had such a nice time. The food is excellent, the staff is super friendly, and we be overall accommodations are top-notch.

I've completed 57 cruises over 20 years and now my favorite by far is Norwegian Cruise Lines. NCL has an unbeatable Premium Plus beverage package that includes unlimited Starbucks coffee, energy drinks, fresh squeezed juices, premium top shelf wines and spirits and much more. The dining is also hard to beat with the larger ships having about 10 specialty dining restaurants including seafood, steakhouse, sushi, italian, french, and more. Most of all I like the NCL welcome back spirit where bartenders and other crew remember you from months to possibly years ago sailing with them. The crew goes above and beyond with programs like dinner with the officers and my vacation hero cards that help reinforce the outstanding service. I did seven cruises last year and six of them were with norwegian. Strongly recommended!

I had the best cruise experience on the Norwegian Pearl. The ship was immaculate, the food was delicious and the entertainment was superb! Embarkation and disembarkation was seamless. The entire staff was pleasant. I'm looking forward to booking another NCL cruise soon.

On vacation, enjoying our moments away from reality. I always loved Norwegian Cruise Line and Norwegian Encore is one of their largest ship. It was luxury and huge despite our small inside cabin. There were 3 main dining room to choose from every day, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Food was like fine dining. They serve you like you're royalty . When their main dining rooms are closed we have the buffet, called Garden Cafe. Dining with a view. Ocean view. During peak hours finding a table could be challenging but if you're patience other people will leave and you can have that table and ask the attendant to clean. We had fresh made to order omelette, cold cereal, warm oatmeal, croissant, melons, bacons & sausages, you name it, they likely have it. One evening they even had oxtail stew which was my favorite. I overate that evening haha. Plenty of activities to help you burn off those calories from morning yoga to running tracks to mini nightclub, Social club to broadway shows and comedy. For down time and relaxations there's several pools, jacuzzi and my fav, the Observation lounge. I can hang out there all day and sip hot tea. They even have light snacks and a nice bar if you prefer a mai tai. We did have to wait about 1.5 hr before we were allowed on the ship when boarding. The last day, we packed and had breakfast and hung out at the lounge a bit before getting off about 10am eventho ship arrived to port at 7am. The traffic and crowd was a bit crazy as we were leaving the port area but if you sit tight and not in a hurry to catch your flight, Uber/Lyft went from $50 to $20 just because we waited 2 hours later when most of the crowd was gone. There's a small area you can spread your towel to sit or sit on the curbs or wherever it's safe. Weather was perfect 80 degrees with a slight breeze in early December. A few things they can improve is that the jacuzzi temperature was not warm enough. It was lukewarm. They should hire at least 2 DJ as I saw only 1 and he seem to play the same list of songs. More group activities and line dancing in pool deck both during day time and evening please and less children on the stage. I was really looking forward to the Glow aka white party but little kids were on the stage all night and the emcee left the stage shortly so people were just standing around wondering what they should do, looking a bit bored and lost. Perhaps a competition or prizes for best dress or dance moves? Our guest room attendant, Richard was amazing and attentive. We were in room 11-401. Thank you Richard for cleaning our room and making our bed. All the staffs in the buffet were fantastic and so friendly despite a pile of dirty dishes in their arms. You guys are amazing! Thank you Just a note about excursions. We did the panoramic overlook at St Thomas and quite disappointed. First the shuttles were late and this was a 3 hrs excursion. The overlook area was next to a gift shop and it was very crowded. The staffs in the gift shop was not friendly. We barely had enough time to take photos with people in the background, purchase their famous banana daiquiri and a couple t-shirts. On the way back the driver stopped at another local street vendors selling more souvenirs where I bought a baseball cap and then he dropped us off at the mall area instead of near the pier so we had a long walk back. Another scheme to get us to buy more souvenirs? Hmmm... We had a wonderful day at Tortola with our Long Bay Beach excursion but we only had 2 hrs and paid $69 pp. There was no snacks or lunch provided, only a bottle of water. The local vendors tried to get us to pay $25 for lounge chairs but we politely declined. I see no reason to pay for lounge chairs for only 2 hrs. Instead we spread out our towels on the sand and enjoyed the warm clear water and some sunshine. It was lovely. Our ship had to leave at noon and we just got there at 7am. If only they could stay until 5-6pm and our excursion last until 3-4pm would've been nice. Our first port was at Puerta Plata but we didn't even leave the port vacinity since it's not a walkable distance and taxi were $100 round trip. No thanks. We stayed in the cruise provided pool area and it's free. They had nice pool area with DJ playing energetic music and a lazy river, all free! Thank you Norwegian. Last thing, our package came with 150 WiFi minutes but at midnight on the last day it was automatically turned off by the ship and I still had plenty of minutes to use. It was disappointing since I couldn't log into any social media, text my friends and family or check other things. We had to wait until we were off the ship. Something to prepare for. We had a great time otherwise and a slight sunburn haha. We will be back someday

We have taken several cruises on Norwegian in the past in Europe. This was the reason for using again and on the Prima Haven. Very disappointed on this 11-night cruise. The Haven was very nice, and we had an amazing room steward. We are still not sure what the Butler was there for as she didn't add any value. The restaurant in the Haven was great. The staff was amazing, and the food was good. The issue is the menu was the same every day. No changes in breakfast, lunch or dinner. The Prima is a beautiful ship but was lack luster in the staff (outside the Haven), the entertainment was second rate, and the tours were not as per the descriptions. Perfect example was the "windmill" and Delft. We stopped by one windmill for 5 minutes. Was not worth the amount of money for what we received vs what we signed up for. As mentioned, Irene our room steward went above and beyond. Michael and the Haven bar staff were amazing as well. All of them knew everyone's names and what they like to drink. The highlight was seeing the Northern lights. Definitely not in the same class as Celebrity Retreat class.

Best trip so far, and I have done 6. The food was great, had a room upgrade. Its the "suite life" from now on. Bathtoom had fully stocked toiletries. Good to know lol. Bars served whatever you liked. Nothing like a friendly bartender. Ports of call were Ravenna, Italy, Croatia (where Games of Thrones was filmed), Istanbul, Turkey, Santorini, Mykenos and Athens. Love their customer service and wide variety of food offerings. Ship was the Viva which has a 3 story water slide and go karts!!. Travel on and make memories. Eat well and enjoy

Really nice ship, wonderful service staff and food wasn't too bad. Enjoyed the cruise and this ship was made just for our Maxwell Urban Suite cruise theme

Just got back from a four-day cruise aboard the Sky. I wrote a separate review for the ship itself but wanted to give everyone a rundown on things to do at these ports. Grand Bahama Island/Freeport -Do yourself a favor and book an excursion at this port. There is nothing in walking distance except for the small tourist area when you first get off the ship. Don't get me wrong there are restaurants to eat at and a few vendors (conch salad stand was AMAZING). But if you want to get a great experience you need to take a taxi and leave that area. - A few days before the trip I searched online for day passes to resorts. I found an inexpensive day pass to the Grand Lucayan Beach resort. We took a $10 per person taxi (round trip!) to the resort. It was only about 20 minutes away and was absolutely gorgeous! -Only go in the designated Taxis! There were a few random people trying to get us to go with them in their cars on the way back but we just ignored them and walked away to our meeting point. Nassau The United States issued a travel warning for Nassau a few days before our cruise. We were nervous about leaving the tourist area. We did take a short 10 to 15 minute walk to the Hilton hotel. But that's about as far as we went. We remained around the straw market and surrounding stores for the rest of the day. You really have to watch yourself in these areas. Others from the ship went to Atlantis on the excursion. They raved about it and I think I will check that out next time I'm in Nassau. Great Stirrup Cay This private beach is very beautiful. You'll have to take the tender to it however, so this island stop is weather depending. We got very lucky because the winds were high the night before we stopped here. We weren't sure if we would make it, but we did. They have a small cash only straw market on the island. The rest of the vendors are all from Norwegian. You can use your state room card to swipe and pay later. We stayed on the beach and relaxed all day. I rented a snorkel and swim out to the rocks and saw many colorful fish and even a stingray! That was the highlight of the trip. There are free drinks and free food on this island as well. I'll things considered we had a great time. It was a fun getaway and to me the perfect cruise length.

When I booked on TripAdvisor, the tour was listed as being 1hour and 20 minutes. The sail time was listed as 2:30pm with a suggested arrival time of 2pm. We arrived at 2pm on March 19th 2026. We easily found the waiting area...by the Ferris wheel and Hard Rock Cafe. There was no particular order to the line. Once the crew arrived they scanned our digital confirmations and handed us paper tickets. They pulled this wooden ship's wheel out, and began directing us to the wheel to take a photo. We knew this to be a marketing ploy for possible purchase of the photo later. Normally, I do not have an issue with this, I get it. However when we tried to decline the taking of the photo, we were told it was for "safety purposes " and we could always decline the purchase later. Really? I've never heard of such a thing? I felt as though they weren't being honest with us. Once on board, the ship did not pull off until 2:50pm. We returned at 3:50pm. So, in actuality the tour was an hour. The tour let us know about a few historical facts about Biscayne Bay and pointed out celebrity mansions. I know this is a pretty standard tour for the area. This particular one felt rushed with the narrator speaking fast, the music mediocre and not much group interaction. I probably have exhausted my Biscayne Bay tours. I do not see me taking another one, and certainly not with this company.

That aspect made the tour unpleasant and it's unacceptable. THEY NEED TO CLEAN THAT BOAT! PS. The music they play its EXTREMELY LOUD!

Dr. George has a plethora of knowledge about literally anything we seem to pass by and provides the commentary in a generally neutral and positive way (not always easy to do when discussing Miami's history!). There was also staff onboard from the museum that were very helpful to answer questions. Just a couple points of feedback about the ship: the snack and drink bar seemed to not be able to accept card, due to technical difficulties, which was a bummer since many people nowadays don't have cash. Also, the indoor space at the bottom seemed to be kept very cold. But of course, there were lots of other options for seating including the top that is covered and the front part of the boat had a great view and plenty of room for lots of people.

You should reserve tickets in advance if you want to secure a time. The departure point in Bayside Marketplace, an open air mall and bar / restaurant / entertainment complex in downtown. Parking here (for 2+ hours, which is pretty much required to cover the entire cruise + check-in window) was $34! You are required to check in 45 minutes before departure, probably so they can ensure you don't show up at the last minute and demand a refund. From what I could tell, there were several other boat tour companies also hawking trips from multiple booths at this mall, so maybe you can just walk up for some of them (?). We boarded about 15 minutes before departure. This involved getting forced photos taken, which is always a bad sign to me. If you had arrived early enough (before we did) they even tracked you down before the departure to try to sell you photos. In our case, we just exited afterwards and never got the sales pitch. The cruise itself is not bad. Miami's Biscayne Bay is certainly scenic, and the boats, homes, and skyline you see are interesting. My advice would be to sit on the right / starboard side, as you can generally get better views from there. The cruise starts along the Miami shoreline, then heads out into the bay past various islands. Eventually, you come upon a few areas that are densely developed with high-end homes. The owners of the homes were mostly people whom I'd never heard of - local retiree billionaires who sold pharmaceutical companies, whoever founded Instagram, someone who owns and NBA franchise, etc. Occasionally some name would come up that I had heard of (people recently tried or jailed for things, musicians from a bit further back, etc.). You then pass some even more exclusive island with more generic condos where other celebrities (most of whom I'd heard of) live at least part time. Then you pass the working port area with the cranes and large container ships en route back. The last 10 minutes of the cruise is again the Miami shoreline. The guy doing the narration was good - he seamlessly switched between English and Spanish and sounded fluent in both. There was a bar on board and some of the tour group were quite enthusiastic about it. However, given that I was facing 30+ minutes in Friday Miami rush hour right after the tour, I didn't really want to add alcohol to that scenario. In summary - this wasn't bad, it just wasn't "for us". The scenery was nice, but a lot of the 'content' was stuff I just don't care about.

The water is super shallow so it didn't seem dangerous at all. The water is also salty and easy to float in. The boat was nearby the main snorkeling area. The bad: The area for snorkeling was pretty small. It was an artificial reef where the fish were but outside of that area there is just seagrass and there's no living things to observe. The website says snorkeling starts at $75/pp and up but that's misleading b/c that's only the price if you have 8+ people. When I came to the marina, the worker who had me sign paperwork said that "$25/hour tip is required" when I got an email saying 15% tip is optional. My husband clarified and he said "yes, it's required" but later retracted his statement after I clarified that it was strange to give tip upfront before we even went on the excursion. However, I did already give 15% tip upfront on 50% of the value and then Zelled an additional $25 tip to the captain himself afterward. The cost for snorkeling ended up being $407 for 2 people (pricey). The interesting: The captain swam with us to lead us to the reef and then swam back and was mostly on his phone.

Excellent and speedy service! I highly recommend this if you want a private boat excursion…read more I booked this for my friend's bachelorette party. I used WhatsApp and they respond really quickly. Just provide details like the day, amount of people and the time. You can also book through their website which I also did but WhatsApp was immediate service. We quickly found an option that fit our budget and they send over a contract to sign. A small deposit is due during the time you sign your contract with the remaining balance and tip on the day of your trip. They offer drink and food services but we opted to bring our own as they provide an ice cooler. Our captain, Daniel, was great. He texted me right before and we let him know we were running late. Our Uber dropped us off at the wrong location which made us more late but he still gave us our time back when he did not have to all. Once he helped us onto the boat, he asked where we wanted to go and took us to a small island with other boats. He also gives you full access to the music. They also have an option for a large floatie for everyone to lay out and relax on. I highly recommend this if you're looking for a private boat ride. Prices are very reasonable. Easily our favorite excursion on the trip!

The inside where the kitchen was had a very bad smell! The boat was so out dated! The mat was torn! We had to lay our towels down to sit on bc the boat was so unsanitary! The leather was torn badly! We had to do our own leg work upon boarding (as in picking the captain) and etc. We was told to arrive a hour early just for us to be sitting in our cars! Do I recommend this boat or company! No! But if others want to rent choose Jorga for your captain, he was a vibe! Oh we was on the 40 ft Sea Ray! Abort mission do not rent this particular boat!

I booked the Miami on the Water sunset boat ride by Fiesta Cruises…read more It was a really nice experience and well worth the $35 per person. We went around the mansions and islands of Biscayne Bay for about 90 minutes as the sun set. The tour guide was informative while keeping things light and fun, and the DJ added to the atmosphere by timing songs from artists like Shakira, Jennifer Lopez, and Ricky Martin as we passed their homes. There were plenty of photo opportunities, and although the boat was on the smaller side, it didn't feel crowded. The top and front were open-air, with covered seating downstairs. Approaching the lit-up Miami skyline at the end of the ride was a highlight. The boat had a bar with reasonably priced drinks ($5 beers and $10 cocktails) and snacks available for purchase. The only downside was unclear check-in instructions. The email said the booth was inside Bayside Marketplace behind Chili's on the second floor. Right across from Chili's is a storefront for a different tour operator, and downstairs there are at least ten other booths with similar names, which made it confusing. After asking around, we learned the Fiesta Cruises booth was actually outside on the dock--you have to walk through the Tasca Paella restaurant to reach it. Once we found it, check-in and boarding were smooth. Parking at the garage can also be challenging, especially on weekend evenings or during events. My tour coincided with a Miami Heat game next door, which made traffic and parking more difficult and expensive (a $57 flat event rate). The company did send a warning email recommending public transit or rideshare. Even arriving an hour early, it still took about 40 minutes to park and locate the check-in booth.

We live in Miami, but wanted to bring some friends in town for New Year's on a boat cruise to see the cruise port/downtown Miami area and the value for $70-80/per person was really great for a 2 hour cruise! Ask to be dropped off at the main parking/taxi area and walk straight back to the boat docks and you'll see a red umbrella for the Fiesta Cruises booth and they'll check you in for your reservation or sell you tickets if you don't have them. All staff were so warm and welcoming and we were shown right on the boat and got drinks from the time we arrived and the bar staff had a great selection of drinks and were all so warm and friendly. The captain and staff all were warm and welcome and had a great personality and were all knowledgable and had a great tour of the Miami area. The tour was truly outstanding and is a great tour for Miami locals and anyone visiting the Miami area from out of town!
