We did not want to spend 8 hours getting to the small island (and another 8 hours getting back to Athens). We only had 10 days, including travel time. Taking a few tours was fine, but we also wanted to do some sightseeing on our own. We had 7 people that included children and needed accommodations for 4 in one room and 3 in another. So, I reached out to my pal Taimy to see what she could put together for us. And our trip turned out to be the perfect combination of guided tours (when needed) as well as some sightseeing on our own. The hotel in Athens was great: the location was perfect and the staff and service were superb. The tour guides that we had, for the most part, were excellent. (Shout-out to Theo from Getaways and Mary from Top Santorini Tours.) Taimy was available to us throughout the planning process and while we were on the trip. (We had one flight cancelled and had to scramble to rearrange our itinerary.) She also takes criticism well. (I hated the fact that most of the vouchers and tickets were electronic and wanted to be able to print them.) I would add a half star for 4 1/2 stars, but Yelp doesn't offer that option. The level of service, attention, and care from the staff made the entire experience feel incredibly special from beginning to end. Every staff member we encountered was so kind, welcoming, and always smiling and ready to help with whatever we needed. You could genuinely feel how much they cared about making sure everyone was having a wonderful vacation. Our butler, Putu, was incredible. He was always on time, attentive, dependable, and there whenever we needed him. He took such wonderful care of us throughout the entire cruise and made everything so easy and enjoyable. Our waitress, Joiereel, was also absolutely amazing. She was so sweet, warm, and personable, and she always seemed to make everyone around her smile. Seeing her genuinely made our days brighter, and she made us feel so welcomed every time we saw her. While Putu and Joiereel especially stood out to us, I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about all of the entire Haven staff. Everyone went above and beyond, and their kindness was a huge part of what made this vacation so memorable. I honestly did not want to get off the ship! We had such an incredible experience that I would absolutely choose The Haven again. I am already looking forward to our next Norwegian Haven cruise and hope it is very soon!

He got us an amazing deal for an all inclusive trip to Cancun with airfare all within our budget and with a flight out the next morning. I've never used a travel agent before but I'm sure glad we did.
