Most Hispanic markets tend to be a little messy and sometimes even dirty. I visited with the owner a wonderful woman and very proud of her business as she should be. ** November 2021 Visit **…read more After a severely disappointing breakfast burrito I decided to give this meat shop/convenience store a shot since it was close by. It's a very humble store, but the butcher had a good selection of meats to choose from. It seemed that Spanish was the primary language and the butcher spoke very limited English, so we asked the cashier if she could help us with our order. My friend and I decided on a carne asada burrito with rice, onions, cilantro, and salsa. It was fresh, the tortilla had a nice char and was very filling. If you want authentic Mexican food this is a good spot!

So we decided to drive over and meet him and try some food. I will tell you in advance this place is busy. I don't mean a little busy... It's BUSY, busy. There is parking on both sides of the building, but not much. We had to circle the block three times to find a spot. When one car leaves another takes the spot. Once inside the line is pretty long, but goes super fast. There are multiple workers helping keeping up with the flow. We decided to get a few carnitas tacos as well as share a chicken quesadilla. My son ordered the last of the asada on his quesadilla. We also picked up some fresh veggies, salsa and meat to cook at home for tacos tomorrow. Meat selection was great and the vegetables fresh. The store was clean and organized. Before leaving we picked up a few teas in the refrigerated section; which also sells beer, sodas etc. as well as some candy at check out of course. The carnitas were AMAZING and after topping with some pico and red sauce even better. They were so full we needed actual utensils to eat the meat and such that was in the container. We couldn't let any go to waste. My son was right when we said the quesadillas were huge! We barely could eat half between the two of us. I picked up some green sauce for the chicken quesadillas and it was so good! The cheese they used made it even better and they do not skimp on the fillings/meat. Don't sleep on this place. Go check it out for yourself. Prices were fair for the amount of food and items we purchased. The pictures of my food speak for themselves!

My son chose another type of meat, and they even offered to marinate it for us. The marinade tasted so fresh--I can't wait to try it cooked! The cashier was just as friendly and welcoming. We also picked up some chicharrón, and it was super fresh--one of the best I've ever had. She told us about their Taco Tuesdays too, and now my son can't wait to go back and try it. We had an amazing experience at this store. My son will definitely be back!
