It's a very humble store, but the butcher had a good selection of meats to choose from. It seemed that Spanish was the primary language and the butcher spoke very limited English, so we asked the cashier if she could help us with our order. I then began to talk to the person behind the counter about bulk ordering (whole, 1/2, and 1/4 cows) and the custom cuts process, because they are a "whole animal butchery". I was handed a card for a website that delivers arizona grass fed beef. I've never been to a butcher that doesn't allow custom cuts or bulk orders. You might as well go to sprouts for the same service and save the money. I bought some meat since I made the drive and the meat is definitely high quality, but my butcher was selling grass fed grass finished beef for $3 less /lb. Not to mention I was able to get bulk and custom cuts for even cheaper. I'm so disappointed that my butcher is getting replaced by them.
