10000000/10 Carmy's Salon did my hair cut and hair color, and I'm so happy with the results! They're also Filipino like me, so I can easily explain what I really want for my hair. This is the first salon I've ever gone to here in the USA, and they made me feel so at home. The mother-and-daughter team did an amazing job, and the lady who trimmed my eyebrows was so good too! They even give discounts. Since I'm new here in America, I can't give them anything back except a review and they truly deserve it. Since I found them, I've never tried any other salon. Finally we found someone that knows how to cut my daughter's hair!!! Carmy is amazing!!!! You have to trust her skills to end up in the results that you want. I had my daughter dye my hair in a red tone which I've always been attracted too. Then over time I had root touch up and a little crazy blonde highlights on my own . Unfortunately, the last root touch up was a disappointment because the lady who did my hair well let's just say made me cry. Overtime, my grey hairs grew out and didn't care much to get it done. I highly recommend Carmy's Salon! They did such a great job getting our hair done. My hair cut with Mrs. Carmy was one of the best! (Photo on the right) She also suggested a couple things to keep my hair healthy since my hair is dry after some years of bleaching it myself. Carmela is also amazing!! I've been going to this salon for over 8 yrs! Love the staff here! Carmy and Carmela are the best at what they do! Carmela is the best at coloring (any color you want) and Carmy does great haircuts. My daughter and I came here for haircuts, and Roja did a great job! We would come here again. It is a great value. The salon is clean and modern looking on the inside. It is behind the bus stop and next to the water spot place in the corner of an older strip mall. Call ahead just in case, we didn't make an appointment but made sure they can take walk-in. if i could give this salon a zero, i would. i've been going here to get my haircut since 2015 and i never really had a big issue until a few months ago. i went in already knowing that there was going to be a long wait, (per usual) so i sat down and got comfortable. i noticed a couple waiting and it seemed like they've been waiting for a while because the lady sort of looked impatient to the point where she stood up and asked when she was going to get her toes done. the owner, Carmy, was still in the middle of a client so one of her workers started prepping the water and what not. after she was done, the lady called me up instead of her which i thought was a little odd since she was there before me. Carmy even said that it was for the other lady but said it's fine it'll be quick. and she took that very literally. the water was still boiling hot to the point where i could barely dip my toes in it, and once i did one of the workers started. all was well up until carmy took over. she rushed through everything. she even cut some skin on both of my big toes while she was scraping my nails. and let me tell you, after she cut me, the rest was absolute hell. anything that had a tiniest bit of alcohol in it, sting the cuts so bad. i literally wanted to cry. i held in my breathe every time she did anything because i couldn't bare the pain. i think the part that topped it all off was when she was cleaning her mess ups around my toes and had to use nail polish remover. these cuts affected me even after my appointment, putting on socks hurt so bad because the cuts would get stuck on them and taking them off hurt so bad. worst experience ever. next was my haircut. i thought it was great until i went to another salon a few days later to get my hair color and the lady told me my hair was choppy and she fixed it for me for free. i sadly don't have any photos of the cuts she did on my toes, but i hope the details of my experience can prove it enough. although i do have the photos the other salon took of my hair to show how choppy it was, and after i saw the way she cut it, i will not be returning here ever again. read more

I'm just coming to this site out of courtesy to other future customers. Ive been to quite a few salons and properly disinfecting and replacing tools if necessary for a safe and sanitary salon. Files were NOT replaced after doing a predicate and tools were only sanitized for about 10 seconds!!! Very very disgusting and disappointing. After a very rough experience on a pedicure I was unfortunately left with a few cuts on my cuticles. read more

I checked with them through yelp if they would be willing to do trim for my 1 yr old daughter.. they replied saying sure and to make an appointment so my daughter doesn't have wait. I called asking if I could come in same day and she told to come in at 6:30 PM. So we went in at 6:30 and we were waiting for about 15 mins at which point I asked is it going to take time and she was like yeah you see I have a customer here from 5 and can't do anything about it to which I replied saying but you gave me a appointment at 6:30. I didn't like the way she replied, She was very rude and unapologetic.she didn't even care if I want to reschedule at which point I left. It is ridiculous that there are even bad reviews about Carmy's. It's so RIDICULOUS. Even though I rarely get my hair done (I seldom feel the need to spend big bucks on my hair ), I always loved the results. I regret coming to another salon to have my hair colored since it was so expensive even with the "HOOK UP" (backstory: I used to work there as a receptionist...never again!!!) they gave me. RANT! This is completely unrelated to my review but it makes me cringe on how (excuse my language) IDIOTIC these low starred comments were.
