    Chicken Parmigiana Sub with fries.

A solid four star. I don't get the bad reviews. All of the staff were incredibly nice and friendly. The portions were huge and to go boxes and containers were stacked up in the dining room. Food was basic Italian food and very tasty. It is fast casual. You order at the counter and someone brings you your food. Would definitely come back.

This place was amazing. We stopped for a quick lunch on the way back from Christmas shopping. He wanted pizza and I've passed Carmine's a dozen times and just never stopped. He got the lunch combo. It consisted of a slice and side salad. I got the chicken Parmesan sandwich. Food came out quick. They definitely had a serious lunch rush going, but the wait wasn't bad at all. He's a native New Yorker and said this was the best pizza he's had down here and that it really reminded him of what he got back home. Sadly, my sandwich was not good. The chicken was left in the fryer too long and was burned. The bitter taste took over the entire sandwich. I talked to the manager and he immediately made it right. He offered to make me another sandwich, I opted for two slices of pizza instead. Great choice. The fact that the manger didn't put up a fight and immediately fixed the problem earned my loyalty. Carmine's will definitely be in heavy rotation in our house.

Carmine is an awesome little restaurant. It has quick service and the atmosphere is fun. The pizza is good. I would try this again.

You should go here it's amazing!! If your thinking about it, just go!! A newer addition to this shopping center, Carmine's is like the older style italian deli/pizza place but new. They have subs, hot and cold, salads, entrees, and pizza pie or just a slice. There is a specials menu for lunch when you walk in and their prices are very reasonable. I got the Garlic Knots and Italian Sub (heated just a little). The italian sauce they use on the sub is devine. This is my second trip while crossing the bay bridge to make a point to go to this restaurant. Staff are friendly, you can get a glass of wine or beer with your food. Go buy and pick something up for take out or dine in. You won't be sorry.

Got here at at 11 as soon as the restaurant opened on a Sunday. The door was locked so we had to wait for them to open it. As soon as we got inside tho, we were served at the counter for take out. The lunch special was available on a Saturday which was a good deal, considering most places only honor lunch M-F. It was 1 New york slice pizza (any kind), a salad and large fountain soda. They also had beer. I only had 1/2 slice of pizza but i ate the whole salad. It came with a house sauce i guess, which was good! As we left out, about 15 mins later about 3 cars pulled up and also went inside of the restaurant. One star because the door wasn't unlocked / open when we got there at 11. The door time said it was to be open at 11a.

First of all, can we just talk about how cute historic Stevensville is?!!! There's a cute little historic Post Office and cute little shops. Anyway, the food here was great! We came a bit early so we were seated right away in the bar portion of the restaurant. But mid-dinner, the place started getting packed! This is a popular place! We started with drinks. She ordered a smoked old fashioned which was an experience! The smoke lingered for a bit. I got the limoncello martin, which had this delicious foam on top. They were both STOUT drinks and very tasty. For dinner I ordered the special, which was the Seafood Cannelloni. OMG, it was so good! The pasta tubes were stuffed with shrimp, scallops, crabmeat, ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, and spinach. The sambuca cream sauce was divine! It was sweet. The hostess and waitress were so kind, friendly, and accommodating! They brought out a water bowl for our dog. We ordered the whole oysters flash fried (special of the day), the shrimp and grits, and the shrimp salad sandwich with island fries (upgraded for 3.50). The oysters were fantastic. Freshly fried and super juicy. We loved them. Our sandwich and shrimp&grits took a while to get to us, but worth the wait. The shrimp in the grits were massive. My husband couldn't finish it all. The shrimp salad was stellar. And the brioche bun went so well. I will say the island fries had a spice we didn't love. The queso dip it came with was good. Didn't love the chili aioli it came with. It was weirdly sweet. I'd probably stick to the regular fries next time. Service is a little slower than were use to, but it definitely fit the vibe of the area. Just low key and relaxing. We would definitely come back!

Ordered takeout and was really disappointed…read more The food overall was bland. The steak was overcooked and lacked flavor, and the crab cake was burnt. The biggest issue, though, was the order being wrong. I ordered a chicken Caesar salad and even called ahead to confirm it, including requesting extra dressing. I was told everything was correct. When I got home, it was just a plain Caesar salad -- no chicken and no extra dressing. The only bright spot is I wasn't charged for the chicken I didn't receive. For the price, I expected much better quality and attention to detail. Not sure I'd return after this experience.

Just west of the Kent Narrows bridge, we came across Dock House, off US-50, with lots of parking and some free docking to the right (east) of a large enclosed boat-storage building. Dock House a bright restaurant with a light modern nautical theme. There's window seating for around 100 with a lovely view the narrows, also visible from the 25-seat bar. There's further indoor seating for another 80, and seasonal outdoor seating with water views for at least a hundred more! The bar area is self-seating, and it was pretty quiet on a Sunday early-afternoon (Jan 2026). Their friendly efficient staff took our drink orders immediately from their creative cocktail menu. We had a $12 Pomegranate Manhattan from their Classics: Louisville Old Forrester bourbon and bitters, gently sweet from tinted pomegranate juice and lightly flavored with a mild rosemary simple syrup. This was a delight! Our designated driver liked the quiet sophistication of the $8 spirit-free Cranberry Rosemary Spritz from their Mocktail list. They offer a wide range of seafood and American fare, with mains and sandwiches from $15-$40, plus soups, salads, and a kids menu. We had a bright fresh $15 Harvest Salad, a generous patch of light tender baby kale, bright cubes of soft roasted butternut squash and fresh walnuts, sprinkled with creamy goat cheese crumbles and sweet pomegranate seeds. We got their tangy maple vinaigrette on the side. A tasty fresh refreshing salad. And we went for their $19 "new" Fried Flounder Sandwich, crispy lightly-fried sweet tender flounder on white bread which they toasted for us. It had fresh lettuce and plenty of tomato slices, and a light layer of tartar sauce. A delicious crunchy handful, which we got with a generous side of piping hot lightly crispy fries. We loved the quiet cool of the place and the delicious food, the amazing water view, the attentive staff, and the chance to catch the afternoon football games on two TVs over the enclosed bar. A perfectly pleasant Sunday afternoon. It's easier than it sounds below to get to Dock House at exit 41 off US-50, just west of Kent Narrows, just off the public boat ramp under the bridge. There's plenty of parking east of that huge boat-storage building for several shops. Dock House is in a separate building at the north end of that parking. Or you can dock your boat there for free. TLDR, well, maybe read once: If you are westbound, Exit 41 just after of the Kent Narrows bridge puts you on Piney Narrows Rd, and you keep straight until you are nearly under US-50, then turn left to the boat ramp. If you are eastbound, from Exit 41 take a left on MD18 Main St and take the next left under US50 onto Piney Narrows Rd, just west of the Kent Narrows bridge, then an immediate right to the public boat ramp. Either way, in the ramp's parking lot you turn left, away from US-50, and keep to the right around the huge boat-storage building. Really, the first time you do it, you'll find that the only trick is to see that turn off Piney Narrows Rd towards the boat ramp.
