This small, no-frills carryout spot delivers authentic Roman pizza at its finest. The dough is light, crispy, and perfectly balanced, making every bite a delight. My go-to is the Funghi--simple yet packed with rich, earthy flavor. And no visit is complete without their decadent tiramisu, a creamy, dreamy indulgence that's the perfect ending to a great meal. If you're craving a true Roman pizza experience, I highly recommend this place . Quality ingredients, expert execution, and pure deliciousness--what more could you ask for?

The drink options were ample; they seemed not 100% in stock on salads and desserts. The pizza slices held considerable intrigue. The ones I ended up trying included a potato slice; the thyme made for a nice flavor hit, but the thinly sliced potatoes didn't hold up well upon reheating. Notably, getting your slice heated is optional here as cold pizza is another aspect of the Roman style. The spinach and goat cheese slice was likewise high in quality, and the two slices were filling.

1/5 -- One of the Worst Dining Experiences We've Had on the Eastern Shore…read more Our family of six came here expecting a good meal after seeing a glowing review. Unfortunately, our experience was the complete opposite. When we arrived, only one other couple was seated, and the rest of the dining room was empty. Despite that, the service was unbelievably slow. Our waitress, Kelli, repeatedly misunderstood our order and seemed not to listen when we spoke. We waited approximately 45 minutes for our appetizer of fried pickles, which arrived tasting awful. I had to ask three times for a single slice of bland cheese pizza. During our wait, three additional tables arrived; two received their complete meals before we even received our appetizers, and another received half of its order. We ordered a buffalo chicken pizza but were given buffalo wings and a cheese pizza instead. When we questioned it, we were told they were "busy," even though the restaurant was nearly empty when we placed our order. Drink service was equally frustrating. Kelli only offered refills to half of our party. I had to request refills for two others--one Coke and one pink lemonade--but she returned with two Cokes. The fountain drinks also tasted like carbonation with almost no flavor. After approximately an hour and fifteen minutes, our food finally began arriving: * The steak-and-cheese sub tasted like Steak-umm and barely contained any meat. * The BBQ wings did not taste good. * The cheese pizza sauce lacked basic Italian seasoning--no noticeable oregano, basil, or garlic. * The garlic bread tasted like plain buttered bread with no garlic flavor. I ordered chicken fettuccine Alfredo, but everyone else had already received and finished their meals while I continued waiting another 20-30 minutes. I eventually canceled my order. Another table waited about 45 minutes for the rest of its order. When the steak-and-cheese finally arrived, the meat was partially raw and the fries were missing. They gave up and checked out around the same time we did. Between the extremely slow service, repeated order mistakes, missed refills, poorly prepared food, and meals arriving at completely different times, this was an unacceptable dining experience. Based on our visit, I cannot recommend this restaurant. Save your money and go somewhere else.

My friend ordered the lasagna and salad, which they'd had before and enjoyed. I was torn between the shrimp scampi and the 7 Fishes, which both sounded wonderful. I ordered the shrimp scampi, which came with asparagus "tips" and "fresh" tomatoes. The server asked if I would prefer angel hair to the spaghetti it comes with. I thought angel hair was a given for scampi, but I said yes, angel hair please. When the server brought our food and put my plate down in front of me, I can only describe the feeling as disappointment. It was a pile of mush with a few shrimp on top. It was spaghetti, not angel hair, and it had been cooked to death and was water logged. Same with asparagus and tomatoes, which were also cooked to death to the point where they were unrecognizable and tasteless. There was not one asparagus tip; rather, it was tiny chopped bits of mushy stalk. I couldn't tell if the red mush was tomato or red pepper. The shrimp were seasoned well and tasted good, but they were also a bit overcooked. Everything else was tasteless. Once the server brought our food, she didn't come back until we were done. She then noticed all my spaghetti noodles and asked why I didn't say something about it not being angel hair. I was like, because you didn't come back! I ate the shrimp out of it and took the pasta home with me. I put it in a skillet on the stove top and added herbs and spices and was able to evaporate some of the water out of the noodles. What I made out of it was fantastic. I would go again if someone else wanted to go there, but I think the key is to order something that's hard to screw up, like pizza, lasagna, etc. I make better food at home.

I ordered the 14-inch Meat Lovers pizza, and as far as the food goes, Ledo delivered. The pizza was delicious, with a great balance of meat, cheese, and sauce on that signature thin, flaky square crust. At approximately $21 after tax, it is definitely on the pricey side for a pizza, but the quality was good. The biggest issue was the service. I placed my order online and arrived approximately 30 minutes later to pick it up. My pizza was already prepared and sitting on the counter, yet I ended up waiting far longer than I should have just to have someone acknowledge me and hand me my order. The restaurant wasn't busy. There was only one small group seated and eating, one waitress, and two employees working in the open kitchen directly behind the counter. Both kitchen employees looked directly at me while I stood at the counter but never acknowledged me or asked if I had been helped. What was even more frustrating was that the waitress had just finished checking on the only seated group as I walked in. She saw me approach the counter, walked past without acknowledging me, went over near the register, pulled out her phone, and began texting. After waiting about 15 minutes without anyone offering assistance, I finally said, "Excuse me." Her response was essentially, "Oh, do you need help? I thought someone else was helping you." Given how quiet the restaurant was and the fact that no one had spoken to me, that explanation was difficult to understand. On the positive side, the restaurant itself was clean and well maintained, and there is generally plenty of parking unless the nearby escape room is particularly busy. I've been a Ledo Pizza customer since the early 1980s, going back to the original College Park location, so I'm very familiar with the brand and have been enjoying their pizza for decades. That's part of what made the customer service at this location so surprising. It came across as though the employees simply weren't concerned about whether a customer was being helped. Whether that's an employee engagement issue or simply a need for better customer-service training, there is definitely room for improvement. Would I return? Yes, because the pizza was very good. However, between the approximately $21 price tag and the disappointing service, this probably wouldn't be an everyday pizza stop for me. Great pizza, clean restaurant, but the customer service needs serious improvement.
