It was early so the dining room had only two or three occupied tables and no one at the bar in the back yet. I was greeted immediately and waited a short time for my order to be ready. All the way home I could smell delicious odors from the bag! I ordered Churrasco de Entrada which is grilled skirt steak with chimichurri sauce and two sides. The steak was amazing! Tender, juicy, melted in my mouth. I had grilled vegetables and baked potato for sides. The vegetables were a mixture of broccoli, cauliflower, pea pods, carrots, and zucchini. They were cooked well and flavored with garlic. The foil packet of potatoes contained three small round potatoes also perfectly cooked through not seasoned at all. The meal came with three small dinner rolls and a few packets of butter. Everything was flavorful and delicious; garlic was quite strong though which I loved but might not be everyone's liking. I also ordered Alfajores from the bakery section for dessert. These are little sandwiches with soft shortbread cookies on the outside and soft dulce de leche and coconut filling between them. Four came in the box. This meal was at least two servings for me and it was a wonderful experience. I look forward to eating in the restaurant next time.

I wished the fries were "fresh-cut", I understand that frozen fries are easier but a good steak deserves good fries. Another thing that lowers the experience is that the condiments like ketchup and mayonnaise are in packets like a fast food chain. They were not watery which only good thing about it. The plantains - The only item that was fantastic. It had a burnt slight crisp on the outside and were actually the best plantains I've ever had. I had to mix little bites of them to be able to eat any of the food. The lechon - in the photos they look really good. Even the photo I took did not look the same as in person as it shows on camera. Pale in color (old not fresh), dry and horrible flavor if I can even call it that. What a huge disappointment overall. The restaurant is a bit run down and most people grab food to go as we did our first time here. The following times we wanted to enjoy their cocktail, well actually, I think it is a shot that was recommended when we asked for a "Dominican" cocktail. It's so yummy - rum, wine, and some type of bark - delicious! We've had the pork ribs and a couple of the stews (guisados) and EVERYTHING is wonderful. I highly recommend getting the yellow rice with pigeon peas over the white, it is so flavorful.
