Service...meh. Polite, but drink lids had a ton of soda on top, us idiots didn't realize and spilled it on ourselves. Used plates dishes weren't removed from the tiny tables until you asked. Not very attentive. Little things like that. Would DEFINITELY come back! Food and atmosphere were awesome.

The service was excellent, the first lady that helped us put the TV on to the basketball game for us immediately upon asking then introduced us to our server right away. We couldn't decide on a pizza so our server told us they could do half and half of two flavors so we did the Boss and I think the other one was Davinci (I think!) We got them with no meat, and they were delicious! One had goat cheese and pickled jalapeño which was wild delicious! The other one had pesto and arugula, and tomato. They also put this yummy herby oil on the crust that makes it even more amazing. The caprese salad was perfect, the tomatoes were nice and firm and the cheese was moist and slightly salty, perfection! The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the tater tots, the flavor was good but they were not crispy. The other reason I knocked off a star was that the wait was super long. Granted I did see that they had a whole lot of orders coming in but we were the only ones in the dining area and it was just a longer than usual wait. We will still make our way back there next time we are in Boerne because the pizza is absolutely top notch!

For my first order I went with the meatball sandwich because the pictures from previous reviewers looked pretty amazing. Although the wait was a little long, I have to say, it was well worth it! This is not your typical food truck. This is top-tier! The dough, sauce, cheese, and crumbled ground meatball were all amazing, it tasted and smelled like it came out of a wood fired brick oven from Bleecker Street in Greenwich Village. Texas is not typically known for its pizza, but that's only because people haven't tried Pizza Volterra. Due to the longer than normal wait time for the sandwich, the staff gave me a free beverage. I will definitely be back to try some more menu items!

I was only asked once if he was a service dog (as he didnt have an obvious identifier on) and was so pleased with our service and interactions with the staff regarding his presence, and during our entire visit! Well, I ordered fried cheese curds which caught their attention. Those cheese curds did not have a chance - they were gone pronto. Next, I told them about the Pub Classic but one asked about the triple meat but I told them that it's just too much food. Anyway, The Pub Classic won out. When the food arrived, these 2 big eaters polished off their burgers quickly. They got pretty full and their comments were classic. I heard delicious, one said very filling and delicious and no negative comments at all. They were very impressed. The place was full when we got there so the ambiance was very lively and noisy. We skipped dessert - these big eaters were full to the gills! We left and rode into a thunderstorm in Boerne, TX! Very unexpected but delighted that we drove through the rain. I suspect my buddies will go back there soon. They really loved the food there!
