It seems recently many of the sourdoughs I have tried are missing that bite that I love in a good sourdough.

I also ordered a bagel with cream cheese, which they offered to toast for me. The food came out pretty quickly and the person taking my order was pretty patient with me taking my time to look at their menu. The ambiance was nice too - it seems like a cozy enough place for people to hang out and I even saw someone working on their laptop for awhile. I will say the foods looked good but seemed a little pricey for the service size, so I avoided ordering anything else this time. Might check them out in the future.

Then somehow the avocado toast we waited 15 minutes for, was remade in less than two minutes...we just threw it out because they likely just put it in a new container. Space is cute, and we drove 30 minutes to come, would not do again or recommend.

I ordered the #1 on a plain bagel and swapped the cheddar for Gruyère, and it was absolutely delicious. The combination of fried egg, crispy bacon, fresh tomato, creamy aioli, and the rich, nutty Gruyère was perfect. Every ingredient tasted fresh, and the bagel itself stole the show. We also picked up a half dozen bagels to take home, and they were just as impressive on their own. You can really taste the quality and care that goes into making them. What made the experience even better was the staff. Everyone was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and happy to answer questions, creating the kind of neighborhood atmosphere that makes you want to come back. If you're looking for an exceptional bagel sandwich or just want to experience a truly great sourdough bagel, Hank's is absolutely worth the stop. I can already tell this is going to become one of my regular breakfast spots

I did have it toasted and took it to go and it was a little hard to chew...so next time I'd probably not have it toasted or just eat it on the spot. Lately I've been without wheels, and have ordered from here for delivery, but this past Friday we actually had a small meeting near by and we all ate in this restaurant. The food, the service and the quality were all present and worthy of FIVE stars. I had my usual Flying Fried sandwich and it did not disappoint, in fact it seemed slightly better than the last one I had. Their coffee was as good as always, a welcome beverage during a busy morning. Well played FLYING YOLK, you are a credit to our community, keep up the good vibes.

To add a drink and a little tub of fruit to my order was like $5. Eh. Not impressed. 8 grapes, 8 blueberries, one strawberry. Fountain drinks all have sugar except for the Diet Pepsi and the worst iced tea in existence. The most shocking was the restrooms. Omg. The womens was "out of order" and the mens stunk worse than a morgue with faulty air conditioning. My husband wanted to go before we left. I don't know how he did it. I went next and -- this has never happened to me -- as soon as I closed the door I immediately had the urge to vomit. I ran out and exhaled. Gawd it was the most horrid sulfur, rotting flesh, overflowed septic smell ever. So, today is 7 May 2026... if you go there any time soon and think you might need to "go", check in the back before you order. You might want to skip this place til they get their literal shite together!
