We were promptly greeted by the owner and ordered steak to go. We waited a little and took it home, as we had a bears game to get to. What I didn't expect was how GOOD this steak was! Forget Philly steaks - this place crushes the popular places! We are already eying going back soon to dine in, as we want the loaded fries! And they help everyone out, which we need more people like Stuff'd steaks in this world!

The parking lot is small so we had to circle a few times just to find parking--and the restaurant was packed! But this is a good sign! We ordered our food and decided with two adults and two kids we could probably have two sandwiches but some extra fries. It was the perfect amount of food! When I ordered, I had asked the girl if the have just standard water and she said something about how they do but the bottle hasn't been changed so right now there only selling bottled water. Okay? The cheesesteak was awesome. Hit the spot! would come back for it. I also bought a cookie thinking maybe the town is full of it. We ate it for dessert and discovered they don't sell it in the other places so very pleased with the purchase! Very yummy

I love cheesesteaks when they're made correctly, and Penn Steaks got it right! Truly excellent; I…read morewish I visited this place sooner. Super fresh rolls with the right texture that have some give, some squish, but still held up well to being stuffed with the steak, cheese, and add-ins/sauce. Also good quality ribeye steak that's well chopped. I prefer mine with provolone and sweet peppers, along with marinara on top. But honestly, these cheesesteaks are good enough with just steak and cheese. The fries here are shoestring, which is perfect if you don't want soggy fries when you let them sit. Penn Steaks uses beef tallow which gives it a bit more savory taste. I'm not really into beef tallow for frying, yet I still enjoyed then. I'd still prefer Five Guys fries over these. But don't let that stop you from trying them! And the service was fantastic. The person taking my order was polite and helpful. I even met one of the co-owners who was very friendly! A great guy to chit-chat if you like that sort of thing. I learned quite a bit from him during my visit. They sell their cheesesteaks in 6", 9", and 18". The 9" is generous and should satisfy most people. I might be able to finish an 18" if was really hungry and didn't add too much to it, but I'd be in pain afterwards! The 18" is better for sharing. I'll stop by more often for a good cheesesteak. Next time I'll get extra cheese on it. I know I'll probably be addicted to their cheesesteaks sooner or later. Edit: added photo of their cheesesteak

We stopped by The Cheesesteak Guy on a Friday night about an hour before closing. There were a few…read morepeople there when we arrived, and more filtered in as the evening went on--always a good sign. I ordered the Cacio e Pepe Cheesesteak for $16, while my dining companion went with a traditional Cooper cheesesteak with onions and peppers on a non-seeded roll ($15), plus an order of tater tots ($5). We both grabbed sodas for $3 each, and our grand total--including tip--was just over $50. The traditional Cooper cheesesteak, tots, and sodas were pretty run-of-the-mill--solid, satisfying, and exactly what you'd expect. But the Cacio e Pepe Cheesesteak? That deserves special attention. The Cheesesteak Guy raves about this sandwich on Facebook, describing it as a fusion of the classic Philly cheesesteak and the Roman pasta dish Cacio e Pepe--and for once, the hype is fully justified. Thinly sliced ribeye topped with melted Pecorino Romano and a generous amount of freshly cracked black pepper, all on a perfectly seeded roll. It was rich, indulgent, and gloriously peppery in the best way. Plenty of Pecorino (which is currently my favorite cheese), bold flavor, and a roll that held everything together beautifully. Truly perfection in a bun--tender, savory, and downright unforgettable. My only suggestion? A little more consistency in the meat prep. Some chunks of ribeye inside my sandwich were quite large and seemed to miss the slice-and-dice phase. Still delicious, but smaller, evenly chopped pieces would make it easier to eat and even better overall. That said, I'll absolutely be back--Patty Melt and Greek Burger are already on my list. Bonus points for plentiful free parking since it's located in a strip mall. One tip if you're going at night: pay close attention, because the sign isn't lit and can be easy to miss in the dark. If you're craving a cheesesteak with a creative twist, don't sleep on the Cacio e Pepe. It's something special.

The roll was excellent, I wish there was actually a little less meat on the sandwich so I could get bread in every bite. Cheese was nicely distributed throughout the meat. Steak was good quality, but there were some bits of gristle mixed in. A little pricey, which I understand considering current meat prices, but I'd personally prefer a little less meat for a couple of dollars less.

While I think Bruno's is up there on my list, I cannot say that they are #1. What I WILL say....is this was a perfectly fantastic sub. This thing had just about checked all of my boxes. It had enough seasoning on the beef that it didnt overpower it. The bread was soft but had great density. I don't believe it to be fresh made there but it was definitely one of the better rolls I've seen on a sub. There was adequate Cheese : Steak ratio. I opted for the cooper sharp and would get it again. The one thing that held me back from making this my top cheesesteak in the Lebanon area....No bacon option. I cannot stress this enough...Bacon, mushrooms and sauteed onions are the perfect combo for a cheesesteak and this lack of a bacon option is preventing me from giving this the #1 spot on my list. Bruno's, if I am mistaken here let me know! I would be happy to change my rating if I can see Bacon as an option when ordering a cheesesteak from your online menu. I did not go to the physical location but from what I can see from the road, it seems like a decently newer building with standard seating. I was able to save half of the sub for lunch the next day and can confirm it was just as tasty as the day prior. Overall this was a 4/5 rating for the sub and the same for the shop until I can see bacon as an option for the "build your own cheesesteak" menu item. No pic or banana for scale as I ate everything. XD
