Knockoff Ketchup?
Peter D.

It's a diner, so I got my usual order of broiled rainbow trout and roast stuffed duckling. I'm sorry friend...I lied just there. I didn't order either of those things, and I don't know why this diner or any other diner has these things on the menu. I truly wonder whether or not they actually have ducklings back there, how long they've sat there, and who ordered the last one. It's a diner. You want breakfast foods, chicken fingers, burgers, grilled cheese, or fried appetizers. If you have an option when it comes to fries, go with the curly fries. Honey mustard beats barbecue sauce here, but get both and see for yourself. If you are feeling really frisky, get some Greek food, but only if they actually seem Greek. Our waitress handled our table of 15 with aplomb, and they didn't screw up my grilled cheese. That's about all you can ask for. ____________ P.S. The chicken fingers don't say it, but they come with fries. Which means you should ask for curly fries.

Decent food for a diner. It's nice to have something open late on weekends as well. Service is decent. I have no complaints about it

Not my favorite diner. Not many options, not very flavorful. Great location but they could use an overhaul.

We loved The Brunch House so much that we came not once, but twice during our visit to town! Our…read morefirst visit was on a Friday, and it was nice and quiet with only about five families there. The waitresses were very attentive, the layout was beautiful, and everything was clean and welcoming. The only little thing that bothered us was a fly that kept coming back to our table. The food, however, was fantastic! On our first visit, I had the Kimchi Bowl, my husband had the Steak & Eggs, my daughter had pancakes with strawberries, and my son had Chicken & Waffles. Everything was delicious! We enjoyed it so much that we came back on our last day, which was a Sunday around noon. This time, I had the Steak & Eggs, and let me tell you--breakfast of champions! My husband had the Breakfast of Champions, my son made his own burger, and my daughter had the Nutella crêpe with strawberries. Every single plate was left empty! We even had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who was so lovely and welcoming. We're already looking forward to coming back to town, and you can bet we'll be making a stop at The Brunch House again--especially for the Steak & Eggs and those delicious crêpes!

I visited The Brunch House and ordered a cappuccino, which was actually pretty good. I also tried…read morethe Reuben with corned beef, and it was just okay. It didn't feel like one of their specialties, so if I come back, I probably wouldn't order it again. But i love the fries. Overall, the place is nice, and I'd return -- just for something else on the menu.

I left the restaurant feeling immensely bloated, as if the food was just sitting like lead in my stomach. Shortly after feeling genuinely sick. It is clear that either the ingredients were not fresh or the kitchen hygiene is seriously lacking. I will never step foot in this place again.

But it was a good meal. The Cottage Pie was pretty good..again, I prefer the classics so I would rather a Shepherd's Pie ( with seasoned ground lamb and not beer ), but it was still a nice comfort meal. The decor is cute..I miss the dim light and warm / dark woods and colors that you expect in an Irish pub. I met the owner on the first visit and she is very nice and I wish her great luck..but the kids who work there have very little passion or personality unfortunately. This really is a nice little place and I hope it succeeds..but it has a few up hill issues..first is its smack in the center of many already establishment great restaurants the other big one is this: 75% of people who live up here moved from Southern Westchester or the Bronx..what does that mean? ..it means we all grew up on Rorys!!! And that is what we are seeking up here. Anyway, nice little place for a comfort meal if you are tired of Good Chinese or Italian. Enjoy!

The regular chicken parm sandwich came out fine but was nothing spectacular. Not worth getting there again. The Buffalo chicken wrap was tasty but did not have much buffalo flavor and certainly no ranch. I will likely never go back cause there are too many other delis around. Cute interior though! Probably a good spot to sit down with a coffee.
