    Love my Mercedes that I bought here, hate the service at this dealership…read more We bought my car used and it had a few little issues with warning lights not going off (the SOS alert--the Euro equivalent of OnStar). The sales guy promised to fix that and a bunch of other things...but the moment we signed for the car all the promises evaporated. I know. I shoulda got it in writing. Salesdude is now retired. This year, we had a problem with the ignition. We knew exactly what needed to be done but didn't have the tools/parts to do it--so we took it to the dealer. We told them what services we wanted performed, but they still charged us for expensive diagnostic work. They also left (completely non-ignition-related) parts of the engine only loosely attached (i.e. caps, plugs, etc.) and in some cases not connected at all. They also stated that they would clean/detail the car as a complimentary service--which they didn't do, but whatever, we weren't expecting or paying for that. And then... ...things started breaking. I'm not saying it was the dealer's fault, but it's a really weird coincidence that I had NO problems until that one, and after we brought it in, there was a veritable onslaught of minor issues (all of which, thankfully, my husband was able to repair himself). Repair costs are also incredibly expensive. That's typical with a dealership mechanic, though. Maybe I'd purchase another car from them, but I'd be sure to get every promise in writing before signing anything. Smarmy.

I have never received anything but excellent 5 star service. Just this past week I received the same excellent service with their personal "white glove" treatment by Service Technician (Jeff H.), Service Advisor (Tony A.) and Service Manager (Justin M.). Because I have a warranty I needed a dealership to inspect it and run it past the warranty company. Once they inspected and agreed with my mechanics diagnosis that it was the wheel bearing they contacted the warranty company, and when the warranty company said wheel bearings are covered, I assumed I would have to make another appointment to get it fixed. I was so glad to be wrong when Kline told me if they have the part they can fix it for me today! I was there for almost 4 hours as they finished it a little before 3, and my appointment was at 11. I would really like to shout out Drew specifically, as he gave me periodic updates about everything with my car and didn't act annoyed at all with my questions and explained everything very well. He was very kind and extremely helpful. I'd also like to shoutout everyone who worked on my car I just don't happen to know them by name. I'd also like to point out that not only did they inspect and diagnose my car, replace the wheel bearing even though they were insanely busy, but they also aligned all 4 tires, and also ran it through the car wash. Kline has a very welcoming atmosphere and very friendly, and helpful staff. They have a very nice and comfortable waiting area *i'd know as I was there for close to 4 hours ;) * It was by far the best experience i've ever had when dealing with my car which was amazing as getting anything repaired with a car is pretty much always stressful!     I lost $5,800 in a month, and was treated like an asshole. Buyer beware, this business has no…read moreintegrity. I bought a used car last month. They assured me they do thorough inspections and would never sell a car with issues. I was also told repeatedly the car had no issues. I was shown the CarFax. Considering it was a luxury car dealership, I felt comfortable buying the car as is. A month later (after only being driven for about 12 days and a little over a 1,000), the check engine light came on and I learned it needed a new catalytic converter and had several leaks that needed repair. I brought the $8,600 estimate in to show the salesman. I only expected them to say, "wow, that's terrible. Let's see if there is anything we can do," or "let us take a look at it and see if we can repair it for cheaper," or "that's too bad, but that sometimes happens with new cars. How about a trade-in?" Instead, the salesperson immediately scurried away to get his 20-year-old manger, who shrugged and said, "how is that our problem?" Eventually, the GM, Jeremy Mertes came out, and said, "it's a used car, what would you expect if you bought this on Craigslist?" I looked around and had to remind him we were in a luxury car dealership. The GM said there was no way for them to know about the bad catalytic converter. I asked them if they scan their incoming cars. He said they scan all of the cars that come into their dealership and the ones that don't meet their standards go to auction and the good ones they sell. He said their records showed no issue with the catalytic converter. I asked him for a copy of the scan record. He then said they only use handheld scanners on non-Lexus vehicles and there is no record of the scan. I asked him to speak to the mechanic who conducted the scan, and he said, "that's not happening." He just kept saying it's not his problem, and never displayed any type of empathy or understanding. I finally just asked him if he'd buy the car back. He immediately said yes, jumped up, and came back with the same offer he claimed he made to the original owners. The whole thing gave me the sense that at best, they're incredibly sloppy with their inspections. At worst they're the worst type of car salesmen possible: fraudsters. I won't be going back, and would encourage you to find another more reputable business. It was a $5,800 lesson for me to always do an independent mechanic inspection when buying a car, even from a place that sells Lexus. Finally, don't buy a 2014 Volvo XC60 from them. It'll run you at least $8,600 in repairs. VIN YV4902DZ4E2544697 It's a lemon.

    I took our new 2022 Model X into the Tesla Maplewood Service Center to have it serviced because of…read moreissues from delivery, our turning signal wasn't working. I took it in and was given the dirtiest loaner (Tesla vehicle) that I've ever seen. I took this in for the same problem twice. After that I was told that our car had new software and new turning signal. When we got on the highway we noticed lots of wind noise coming from the repaired side door. I opened the door and they forgot to put the door seals back on. So after a week or so we took our brand new X back in to service and received yet another filthy, banged up smelly loaner. Hours later Tesla called said it was fixed. We took a test drive with the service tech and we duplicated the issue again. I showed him where the seal was damaged and that that's where the noise was coming from. I was told to drive for a few days to see if it were just a temporary thing. It wasn't.. then Tesla mobile came out and that the protection tape was left on causing the seal to warp around window points. So we would have to take it back in for a new seal. At this point Tesla told me that this is how the seal comes to them. While the tech looked through our car he noticed that his service crew didn't put back some of the parts that were taken off for repair. It only took about five minutes to fix. At this point I didn't want Tesla's service center to touch our X again because of all the issues. So I went around the whole car and took pictures of the unfinished repairs. There were lots of imperfections with our Model X when we got it. They had us write everything down on paper and they gauge it to their technicians (eden Prairie, MN). This was to far of a drive so we chose Maplewood location. HUGE MISTAKE! Needless to say that there's still a lot of unfinished repairs but we're dealing with them. We do LOVE the X despite horrible experiences with the Service Center Repairs.

We spoke and had a for sure understanding of how things will work. It wasn't until Michael from maplewood mn Tesla location got involved that the deal fell apart. He was VERY rude, had nl idea what he was talking about, and made several personal insults during our phone call. I plan on driving 1 hour out of my way to make sure i never give Maplewood store ANY of my business and I will be relaying with the Tesla communities and Forums in wisconsin/Minnesota area to do the same. They lost a customer for life, and I hope many more with that kind of attitude.

    My gosh where to start. First off Kirk was the man at finding me a reliable car within my budget…read moreand getting me approved with a 587 credit score. He really out his nose to the grindstone and made it happen. I ended up driving away in an amazing 2022 Honda Civic Sport with only 8,300 miles on it!! I drive a lot for work and managed to also get me an extended warranty/service contract for 5 years- 150,000 miles which was the entire extent of the loan. Justin also was great explaining the features of the car and getting the paperwork done with me in under 45 mins!!! Any other time I've bought a car it was an all day ordeal. Sadly 3 weeks after purchasing the car, I was t-boned by another driver and my beautiful new car was totaled. I was devastated. After it was towed I needed to retrieve my belongings. But my title hadn't been transferred yet. So I called the office and the owner Jim Long answered and helped me. I had him on speakerphone with the attendant at the tow yard and after Jim was told what would be needed for me to get my belongings out of the car and have it released to my insurance, he got right on it. He personally made a trip to the DMV to get the paperwork and I was able to move the process along within 24 hours. So not only did Kirk unexpectedly get me financed for a pretty much brand new awesome car, but Justin had my old car traded in with all paperwork filled out and signed in under an hour and 3 weeks later after the car was totaled Jim went out of his way to get the paperwork needed to keep my insurance claim moving. I WILL NEVER GO ANYWHERE ELSE TO PURCHASE A VEHICLE AGAIN AMAZING QUALITY VEHICLES WITH UNREAL QUALITY SERVICE!!! One more important detail that shows how much class this place has and how caring they are is the first thing Jim said when I called about the paperwork was, "I heard what happened. Are you OK?" Where all other dealers would see this as an opportunity to sell me another car, not once during the conversation was anything about that mentioned. It shows you're not just some number with these guys but an actual human. That's why I'll be buying another car from Long's and I recommend you do the same!

Justin, Jim and the team at Long's worked with me and made me feel comfortable with my decision and stayed within my budget. I hadn't purchased anything late model used and knew there might be some work needed down the line. When I ended up having some repairs needed some time down the line, Long's was there to take care of me and did repairs at a fair rate and very quickly. Bob who runs the shop is a great guy. Now I won't go anywhere else for a used vehicle. Long's treated me like family so now I think of them as family!
