I can only say that my dealing with Carmax in BR was perfect, easy, stress free and worth the hour drive. Ms. Susie was hands down the easiest salesperson to deal with. No haggle pricing. Great cars - very very clean, low miles, etc. I highly recommend.

Love my platinum F250!
 Thx again George & Margaret!

Service review for an oil change Dec 2023…read more Todays experience with Royal GMC service in Baton Rouge, LA was service number 4 and I will honestly say it will be the final time I ever use this dealership service for ANY reason at all. The service at this dealership is a complete disaster and a failure which is a direct indication of the lack of leadership from the service manager. Absolutely shameful that current problems have been consistently occurring for almost 12 months. Before I write my review on what went wrong today, I do have to give credit to Hannah (service front desk). Without her help and consistent apologies, this review would have been a zero stars. Hannah went above and beyond to help clean the mess that was left behind by the service technician. Absolutely nothing that occurred today was her fault, in fact she deserves all the praise and credit because she was the only employee who cared enough to provide a solid customer experience. The service technicians at this dealership DO NOT treat your car with respect. today was the second consecutive time in which grease and oil from the technicians hands were left all over the interior of the car. The seats, door panels and center arm rest was covered with oil and grease. Once I brought my concerns up to Hannah she sprinted into action attempting to make the situation better by cleaning up after the technicians. A complete disappointment with every level of management at this dealership. Customer be warned....until they start to address management changes, you need to take your car to another dealership

We pulled to the side and finally got it restarted and got off I-10 on the Siegen exit. The check engine light came on and we started getting texts to SERVICE TRANSMISSION IMMEDIATELY. We drove by a Chevy dealership first. Called them and explained our situation. They said they couldn't help us til Monday. This was Saturday morning. We kept driving and came across Royal Buick GMC. We pulled into the service department. They immediately diagnosed our problem. They completed the repair in less than an hour and it was under warranty so we didn't owe anything. I'm so thankful they could help us immediately and so quick!!

Thinking of buying here? Read this first…read more In September 2026, I accompanied a friend to Max Quality Auto to look at a 2024 Mitsubishi listed at $13,600. We wanted a third-party pre-purchase inspection. The dealer required a $5,000 deposit before letting us take the car off the lot. My friend was charged $3,000, and I was charged $2,000. The inspection found a long list of problems. I asked the inspector: so is this car worth $3,000? He said: "Don't spend any money on it." We returned the car the same day and told them we weren't buying. The dealer promised a refund within 7-10 days, to our faces. What followed was over two weeks of silence. My friend's text messages went unanswered. When I sent a written demand, the reply was that he had no details on my deposit, couldn't do anything about it, and I should call and ask for a manager. After my formal notice, all he did was note it down and pass it to "the management team." No refund date. No confirmation of refund. Not a single apology throughout. As of October 13, 2026--20 days after we returned the car--I still have not received my $2,000 refund. I have filed a chargeback with my bank. It can take months to finalize, and the dealer suffers no real loss. The worst outcome for them is simply returning money that was mine to begin with. That's why they can do this to me--and they can do it to you, too. Two pieces of advice for anyone thinking of buying here: 1. Get a third-party inspection. Without one, you could drive home an overpriced lemon thinking you got a deal. I don't know how many of those five-star reviewers ever got a third-party inspection. 2. Don't assume they'll make the inspection easy. They'll charge a hefty deposit up front -- and you'll have to fight tooth and nail to get it back. Conclusion: don't even go to this dealer. Unless you are prepared to struggle just trying to get your deposit back -- MAX PAIN!

It was a nice drive from NOLA to BTR, that went well. Lol…read more I tried to call PRIOR to making the 80.8 mile drive to the facility to ensure 1) the vehicle was still in place 2) inquire of the condition 3) make sure they would be open Memorial Day. Well the answer to the 3rd question was resolved by the website. questions is 1 and 2 remained unanswered. Soooooo in spite of it all I took a chance and made the drive. After all, it was Memorial Day, BTR is not a bad drive and I was interested to see what the outcome would be. I will say this is a great idea. Whoever came up with. It is a great idea. You basically go on the website. See if the vehicle is in place, head on over and you remove the part yourself. There is a $2 admission cost, but if you sign up for the free VIP membership, there's a reduced price. And as a VIP member, your privyy to all sorts of deals that they send you via email or sms messaging. They provide you with wheelbarrows in the event that you have a heavy load to carry. But other than that, this is a DIY and it's best. So bring your OWN TOOLS!!!! Rows and rows of cars. Just imagine a vast wasteland of vehicles, but in a semi ordered fashion. In designated row and even particular spaces ie C304. All are ready to be taken a part as one needs. What I saw on the website versus what I saw in person we're starkly different. It was the Amazon vs Wish version of items. I must admit the vehicle that I was looking at it been there since March 2026 and this is the end of May 2026. So understandably things would be different. But my goodness, there was barely anything left of the vehicle. For your convenience, there's a handwashing station as you exit the yard. I found this to be beneficial, those junked cars are full of grease, grime & stagnant water from the rain. Also, in addition to being able to remove parts there is an area near the front door where they also sell other things. I guess things that they found in the cars, i.e. shoes, purses, etc.. Annnndddd I also found that they sell batteries and used tires. And they even have cars for sale. I did leave with a piece for my car, but not the ones I came for. So the trip wasn't a TOTAL BUST. I would return, maybe not to this particular location as there is one closer to my home, but I do like the idea of being able to find parts for the low-low. And I would also bring a person that is mechanically inclined to help with disassembly of the vehicle part that you need. I found the employees to be pleasant. Not very helpful, there was a sale going on and had I not mentioned it, the cashier was not going to share that information; HOW RUDE... Lol As I left, I heard in my Spirit, one man's trash is another man's treasure. This place truly embodies that adage.

I thought I'd never have to visit a junkyard again but here I am, thanks to owning a rare vehicle…read morethat contains discontinued parts from the manufacturer. I was in search of a driver side door actuator. I actually ordered one from EBAY but it didn't include the floor and trunk manual release. I took a look on Pull A Part's website for shits and giggles expecting them to have every model CTS except a coupe. To my surprise, the Baton Rouge location had a coupe in stock. Now the flip side was wondering if this part was still in the car. I drove an hour by both holding my door closed by hand and tying a strap to it, lol. Pull-A-Part granted me free admission for being a veteran. I arrived to find the part was still there. Now the other flip side was wondering if the part was still operational since you need the vehicle powered to test the actuators and the batteries are removed. You also need to remove the backseat, rear interior panels, and seatbelt to access the door actuator. Luckily Pull-A-Part has the vehicles elevated and spaced out which creates a decent work environment. I didn't even mind the fact that it began to rain. I even removed the passenger side door actuator for when it's needed in the future. Pull-A-Part discourages working on your vehicle in the parking lot. I needed to verify the driver actuator worked so I installed it quickly since my backseat and panels were already removed. I plugged it up and it didn't work. Disappointment was an understatement. Then something told me to pull on the floor release. The chime began to sound after hearing the actuator click. I closed the door and it worked. I did a little dance not caring about being seen, then I quickly hit the road after gathering my tools! P.S. Pull-A-Part only offers store credit. No refunds.
