I purchased a Groupon for a series of five microdermabrasion treatments. I chose the five treatment package, because I had had microderm done before with great results and knew the treatment provided best results when done in a series. Yesterday, I went in for my first treatment. During the microderm everything seemed to be going fine, the lady performing my facial was very nice and I wasn't experiencing any serious pain, other than the harsh pulling and tugging of the machine being pulled across my face. Immediately afterwards, the lady preforming my micro made a remark about the redness my face was experiencing post treatment. She said the redness was normal and would go away in an hour or so. Having had microdermabrasion done before I had never experienced any redness afterwards, but knew that slight redness could sometimes occur. As soon as I got home my roommate passed by me and said "OHMYGOD what happened to your face?" Having not looked in the mirror yet, I thought my face was only still slightly red and my roommate was probably just overreacting. But as soon as I looked in the mirror, I saw my face was covered in dark red and purple stripes. I looked like someone beat me up, it was horrifying. I called the medspa and even sent pictures into the office of my face. A little while later, I received a call from the office manager saying this was completely normal and they see this happen all the time. She went on to say that it was simply erythema ( redness of the face) and it would go away be tomorrow. I knew this wasn't just facial redness, because my face wasn't red at all at this point...nope it was just covered in blotchy and stripy deep red, purple bruises and broken capillaries. That night I had dinner with my mom and sister and did my best to cover my face with makeup in order to hide the damage. As soon as my mom and sister saw me the first thing they said was "what happened to your face, you have bruises all over you." At this point, I was beyond upset with how this place ruined and injured my face. This morning, I woke up hoping the condition of my face would have improved somewhat..but as soon as I looked in the mirror the bruises looked even worse. My entire jaw, forehead and cheeks were now covered in deep colored bruises. I called the medspa back and the phone was picked up by the lady who preformed my microderm. I told her about the condition of my skin and how I was afraid my face may now be permanently damaged, now that the capillaries in my sin had been broken, resulting in deep bruising. The lady, I believe her name is Aggy, seemed annoyed and bothered. (FUNNY, she's annoyed.. Im the one with bruises all over my face because of her facility and treatment) At this point, I wasn't planning on leaving any negative review and just wanted my money back, hoping the bruising and broken blood vessels would eventually get better. I was very nice on the phone and simply requested my money be returned. This is when I discovered how shady, unprofessional and uncaring this business actually is. The lady irritatingly said she doesn't think something like this could have happened from her treatment. Not only was she implying that something else must have happened to my face..but she was contradicting what the lady who had called me yesterday had said. According to the lady yesterday this was very common ( which is completely false..your face should never experience bruising from micorderm, unless preformed by unprofessionals). Never once did she apologize, tell me to come in so she could try and rectify the damage she did to my skin, or offer to refund my money. In fact, when I told her I wanted my money refunded for the 1 treatment had had preformed as well as the 4 treatments I had paid for but hadn't received yet, she told me she would only be willing to refund a partial amount of the money I had paid. She said since I received the first treatment, I would need to pay for it. When I asked her why she would make me pay for something that damaged my entire face, she said "well, you still received the treatment didn't you?" WOW, this is the definition of an unaccountable business who isn't looking out for their clients best interest and simply just doesn't care. I told her that I would hope she wouldn't charge someone for a treatment she preformed that resulted in such terrible bruising and not only left their client dissatisfied, but also worse off than they were before she worked on them. She didn't seem to care and just ended the phone conversation. At that point, I was so shocked by this businesses ability to injure a client and show no remorse or accountability for it. The guy on the phone from Groupon was more apologetic and willing to rectify the problem than the own lady who preformed the awful microderm was. Bruising is not a normal side effect of a minimally invasive procedure like microdermabrasion..and I just hope I'm not left with permanent damage from this place. read more

I'm in love with this place. My friend referred me here for botox. It was my first time so I didn't really know what to expect. I really wanted to have a consultation before even deciding if i want to do it. So I called them and they gave me an appointment for a "FREE" consultation (that was really nice of them). I had a consultation with Ruben Filian, and it went so well that I did the treatment right after the consultation. He explained every little detail thoroughly, he also advised me to start gradually and go back in case I wanted more. He was so knowledgeable that it made me feel really comfortable and all I could do was to sit back and let the professional do his job. I'm so thankful to my friend for referring me to this wonderful medspa, where you can satisfy both your medical and your aesthetic needs at once. I'm giving all of them 5 stars for the wonderful service they provide to their customers. Definitely will be back to try out all other treatments they offer. read more

I came to see Agy through a Groupon purchase two months ago. I did not know what to expect as my face was in extreme bad condition. I tried the microdermabrasion facial treatment and i was very happy with the outcome. My face got immediately lighter, the face dead skin was all gone and i looked so much better. It was a great improvement as I was in a very bad condition. While you get your microdermabrasion you are listening to a very quite music and you get very relaxed. Agy is very nice and gives you a lot of information about your type of skin and how you can improve it to get better. After the first session my face got immediately much clear and lighter. If you continue the treatment in the long run, you will see great improvements on your skin. Everything worked for me. Pretty sure they don't have any staff or the staff they have is just awful. I've tried calling MANY times to schedule an appointment and no one ever answers. I was hoping to get a facial but after not being able to get in touch with anyone or get any call backs, I decided to dig a little deeper into their reviews. Seems they have a problem with professionalism. Not only do they not answer their phones, but their responses to other disappointing reviews are extremely rude and unprofessional. So I'm pretty happy that it didn't work out. There are so many great places to go, don't waste your time and money on businesses that conduct themselves this way. Give your money to businesses that deserve it. Update: they returned my call and left a rude and condescending voicemail. Any business who can't afford polite front desk staff to answer phones and who has to have so many "wonderful discounts" won't last long. read more

I have to share this amazing experience of mine with you. Their service was fantastic. This place is an absolute must for pampering and skin rejuvenation! Customer service is beyond exceptional. My skin looks and feels fantastic after my first ever microdermabrasion treatment with them. The product line they use feels and smells so good. The best part of it was that I was able to purchase the products they used on my skin for home use. Wow, how great is that? They have the professional product line available from A to Z for their customers, which isn't available for sale in stores. Samples are available as well. I would recommend this place to anyone. The best! I was first introduced at a bridal show and thought Id give it a try. My skin was breaking out bad-like worse than a prepubescent teenager and I am just a few months out from my wedding. I used the groupon deal for a microdermabrasion and I was able to book my appointments without any inconvenience. I also rescheduled one and missed another appointment. I was embarrassed for having forgotten but they were very nice about rescheduling. Agy was wonderful and after the first session I was amazed at the results! My skin looked beautiful, I even noticed some wrinkles were erased :) I bought the package from them for 3 additional sessions. Agy is knowledgable and she also looks great for her age.
