The front receptionist is not friendly at all. I was surprise I needed to fill out 6 or 7 pages forms just to do the treatment so I wanted to confirm with the receptionist, she gave an attitude like I am stupid! After reading yelp reviews I was convinced and bought the Groupon, 3 microdermabrasion sessions for $114 First impression, I called on a Tuesday to make an appointment asking what days are available for the following week and they told me none were available but I could come in the day of. First session Aggie did my facial. It was just okay with her. It was semi relaxing, and only lasted 20 minutes. She put on a cream then took it off, put a hot towel on my face for 20 seconds, then proceeded with a fast microdermabrasion, then rubbed ice cubes on my face and put cream. She didn't give me any information about my skin. I was really unimpressed by my first facial and didn't want to come back. Second session, Elizabeth did my facial. I was excited to have a different person doing my facial, although I came 30 mins early she still took me. She cleaned my face, put some cream on, massaged my face (super relaxing), took the cream off, put the hot towel on for a longer time to open up my pores, then proceeded with a patient microdermabrasion really focusing on certain areas. After that she closed me up with ice cubes, cream, and another very relaxing massage. She informed to use sunscreen, told me about my acne and what other treatments could help. Third session I booked with Elizabeth again, and it went splendid as the first time with her. If I would come back I would go straight to Elizabeth. But, I will not be back because microdermabrasion isn't the facial for my skin type. Would definitely give it a try if your new to facials. Bought a Groupon that gives 3 microdermabrasion treatments for $114. I was treated by both Aggy and Elizabeth, both of whom were great! They are both very kind and knowledgable. The room that the treatment is performed is not what I expected; instead of white walls, bright lights, and lots of shiny metal tools, it is dimly lit with beautiful decor, and soft music. Wonderful atmosphere! The treatment: First, they clean your face of any makeup, oil, and dirt. Then they rub in wonderful cream and other good stuff. They wrap your face in a hot towel and boyyyy does it feel amazing. They wipe the cream stuff off of your face with the hot towel and start using the micro machine. They micro everything -- forehead, chin, cheeks, nose (had to go over this area several times LOL), and go down to your neck as well. The treatment leaves your face feeling SOOO soft! You will be tempted to touch it but you really, really shouldn't! After the treatment, they leave the room for two seconds to grab an ice cube to rub over your face to close your pores. They finish off with some SPF, and voila! The treatment leaves your skin feeling and looking great: your gaping-hole pores are barely visible, the oil that coats your face is gone, and those pesky spots/scars are faded. My face is AMAZING after the treatment, and it lasts for a little over a week for me before my skin reverts to its old self. :( Now I have very oily skin so I know that the results don't last as long for me versus a less oily-skinned person. They seem to encourage scheduling appointments a month apart, but I think that if you feel you might need the treatment every 2 or 3 weeks, then you should do that or at least ask about it. I happened to be in the area so I decided to walk in and make an appointment in person. To my surprise Someone was there, I don't know why they don't pick up their phone. Agy is amazing at what she does! I've had 4 sessions of microdermabrasion so far and I'm about to have my last pretty soon which is a little sad for me to actually realize. The microdermabrasions have really improved my skin. I can see a notable difference in my complexion (even after the first session!). Really good for minimal scarring you want to fade away. The feeling you get after a microdermabrasion also adds to the satisfaction factor of purchasing these sessions. After a lot of research, I decided to get a microdermabrasion done here and was very happy! It was my first time getting this done so I was very nervous but it went smoothly. -Office Staff- I accidentally came in a day before my appointment and the office manager went to the back to see if the esthetician would accept me as a last minute walk-in instead of just immediately turning me away. Instead of taking her lunch break, the esthetician took me in. And she wasn't rude or mad about it! I felt very bad but she was super sweet and made me feel comfortable. -Procedure- She talked me through the whole process and offered me a lot of skin regimen tips without trying to upsell me a bunch of stuff o don't need, which I truly value. It was painless and relaxing. -Outcome- My skin was a little red for the rest of the day, but looked amazing the next day. I suffer from some really combative adult acne and have some scarring from it, but the microderm made my skin glow and reduced the appearance of scarring for a few weeks. The treatments are about 30 min long, and the room is so comfy and relaxing. It always smells amazing as well! I always purchase the packets, it's better that way. This review is based solely on Botox injections at this location. I've seen Ruben here twice for Botox in the past year and it is all over the best experience, results and value. The Botox itself seems more concentrated because it takes effect quickly and Ruben's expertise about why and where you need injections is refreshingly honest. I've been getting Botox for 9 years consistently and more often than not other clinics try to up sell and tell me I need 30-40 units when I know that I can get by with less. I've even had a clinic make my eyebrows uneven which called for numerous visits to them to fix the problem and more units (more money) each time. Pros: -super nice/sweet lady -she explains everything in detail -spa room was very relaxing -she doesn't pressure you into buying products, etc. -your skin will feel amazing afterward! Cons: -the spa is inside a regular doctor's office, which is kind of weird because you have to wait in the lobby with the regular patients -office is not open weekends, which makes it difficult for me because I work a regular 9-5 -there was a relaxing oil scent in the spa room, but it made my hair, clothes and purse smell like that too.
