All I can say is Dr. Gamboa is AMAZING. Not just a great chiropractor, he is a genuine person. So KIND, understanding, compassionate, and friendly/funny! He listens and understands me/my condition. I truly believe he cares for patients. I've seen many chiropractors and never met a chiropractor like Dr. Gamboa. My first visit to him, I was in severe pain. I couldn't sleep and focus well, felt so negative about everything, and felt depressed for months because of the pain. I also couldn't walk right and it was so hard for me to sit or lay down. After one session, I felt lighter, noticed my mood change (just talking to him made me feel better), next day my pain was almost disappearing. Just had discomfort in my body. I feel better and happy every time I visit him. I'm confident that I will no longer have this pain/condition in the very near future. I am so grateful for Dr. Gamboa! I highly recommend him. read more

Dr. Gamboa understands the problem & resolves it with expertise. We've gone to him for years.

I am so happy I went to Dr. Desi Gamboa. I suffered for months with lower back pain/sciatica and kept putting off calling a chiropractor because I thought it would eventually go away. I was referred to Dr. Gamboa from my co-workers who had nothing but great things to say about him and I completely agree. He is amazing and I feel so much better. I just wish I wouldn't have waited so long to call. Highly recommended! Thank you Dr. Gamboa read more

I got in a accident and jacked up my neck pretty bad and was in a lot of pain. I thought I'd try this place out to help relieve the pain. And to much of my surprise, I walked out of the place feeling so much better and woke up feeling even better. I'm going to stick to coming to this place and recommend it to anyone read more

I'm a martial artist and have been to chiropractors my entire life. Most have been good, others seemed to only care more about getting as much dough out of their patients as possible. So I've been exposed to a variety of different environments/procedures in the business. The night before my appointment, I suffered a neck injury during some drills. Needless to say, the subsequent headaches were some of the worst I've ever had in my life. But even being a new patient, they were able to squeeze me in the same day I called the next morning. Dr. D is extremely knowledgeable and somehow seems to know more about your injuries than you do yourself. Everything was spot on, from what spots were normal, tender, very tender, etc. So it didn't feel like a game of twenty questions of discovering where the root of the problem was. My injured areas were treated accordingly and I already feel much better. And overall, he's a very nice guy, so it felt more casual and laid back than a usual trip to a doctors office. Cannot recommend enough! read more

Dr. Gamboa is the man! We came down for a weekend in San Diego and got an adjustment on the way. What an amazing experience! He explained everything and within a few minutes we both felt so much better. Highly recommend! read more

Jason Higgins is the best!!!! Been seeing him for almost 12 years; since I was 13. Amazing and quick recovery!

Dr. Gamboa is so amazing! I planned on going back a few days after he worked on my back but I felt so good that I didn't want to mess that up. Thanks for removing my pain, I'll be sure to be back soon for work on my shoulders and neck. read more

I pinched a nerve in my back in my sleep and was sooo worried I wouldn't find a chiropractor during covid but Carlsbad Chiropractic were open and even helped me out with a cut in price, as I do not have insurance and the doctor saw I really needed to be seen multiple times in one week, and as being young and single, he helped me out a little with the price, even selling me a back brace at nearly no cost that saved me at my beertending job. My favorite thing about my chiropractor doctor I saw, is that he took the time every visit to do ultra sound radiation on my back since the muscles were soooo Inflamed to help get blood rolling and heal faster. Never have had a chiropractor take the time to do that before. Also loved how he spoke about his children which are about my age. Made me feel very comfortable and part of the family. :) read more

i would recommend this beautiful place to anyone who is in pain. Mr Gamboa and his staff are super friendly. I will recommend this place to all friends and family. Mr. gamboa really knows what he is doing. read more

Carlsbad Chiropractic - Chiropractors Near Me - Carlsbad, California

I started seeing Desi a few years ago. I referred my son, mother, wife. I had never see a chiropractor before so I didn't know what to expect. I do now. This office isn't interested in healing you, they are interested in booking your next appointment. For those of you who have seen him regularly will know exactly what Im talking about. No matter what your condition, the first thing Desi will tell you is that you're going to need several appointments before you're going to start feeling better. Sure that's a given but he makes it painfully obvious he's not in the business of healing he's interested in your insurance... It's bizarre.. if you're a current patient, you know exactly what Im talking about. His appointments consist of a quick adjustment, if your opt to pay the extra $ 10.00 or $ 20.00 you get the ultrasound for a few minutes and that's about it. At the time I didn't know any better so I referred my mom who had experience with a respected chiropractor in Seattle. After her appointment with Carlsbad Chiropractic she called me horrified. She said, no way Im not going back and neither are you. Sadly my experience didn't end there. After a year of emails and phone calls asking me to book another appointment I finally told Carlsbad Chiropractic that I wasn't happy with the quality of care I received and I would not be back an imaginary bill for $ 87.00 showed up.. after they sent me to collections I thought this must be a scam and started digging. I found Desi has been taken to small claims court 7 times and sued for malpractice... more than once.... Something is definitely happening at this office, and its not healing. If you decide to stop seeing him, don't tell him. My information can be verified by searching the San Diego county court website. read more

After a year of experiencing bad shoulder and back pain Dr. Desi has me feeling amazing after just a month! Carlsbad Chiropractic has friendly staff and truly makes your experience great. Highly recommend Dr. Desi!!!! read more

Doctor Gamboa is a truly gifted chiropractor. His experience and demeanor shine through in the first meeting, he really knew where I was hurting and how to help me. I had a particularly difficult upper rib injury, and after a few years of suffering I developed frozen shoulder on the same side. The adjustments he did brought me relief right away, and after a few weeks my injuries are no longer running my life. You won't be disappointed with this office. The staff are delightful, the office is nice and parking is easy. Thank you Dr. Gamboa, so glad I met you!! read more

Dr. Gamboa is great. I have never slept better in my life. In one session my pain was gone and it didn't break the bank. Looking forward to solving my shoulder and hip pain issues pertinently with Dr. Gamboa's help! read more

I was injured while on vacation and needed help ASAP. Dr. Desi Gamboa was able to rescue the remainder of my visit to the Carlsbad/San Diego area. He was incredibly easy to talk to and I felt very relaxed within moments of meeting him. He was thorough with his questions and listened intently. I left his office feeling 100 times better. Additionally, his staff was exceptional. Leah (sp?) at the front desk was a sweetheart! She was very kind on the phone, as well as upon my arrival. By the time my appointment was complete, she had already contacted my insurance provider and had all the information I needed. As an active athlete, I have a Chiropractor back home that I visit regularly. However, my visit to Dr. Gamboa was hands down the best visit I have ever had. He is yet another reason I would love to make Southern California my home! read more

Dr.Gamboa was great! Felt immediately better after and felt like I was walking on cloud 9.

Really love Dr. Desi and his staff. I shopped around a bit to find a knowledgeable chiropractor with pleasant office staff, because that is important as well. Dr. Desi identified the problem area right away and brought needed relief. You can tell he has a lot of experience and knows what he's doing. He and his staff are so accommodating and willing to try to get me in when I have a problem. He takes our insurance but before we met our deductible, his rates were reasonable, unlike other places where I felt like they were trying to sell me on unnecessary services. Go to Dr. Desi, you'll get relief, you'll laugh, you'll feel better! read more

Look no further. Dr. Desi is the chiropractor to go to! I came after having my first son and suffering from chronic headaches. After 3 visits I stopped having these headaches completely! I came back for a back issue after having my second son. I could barely walk and was in a ton of pain. After 3 visits I felt night and day difference! My husband was skeptical, but went after a motorcycle accident. He was having chronic neck pain and after a few visits has not had any pain. I have also seen Dr. Desi for a plugged duct with breastfeeding. My lactation consultant recommended the ultrasound machine he uses and it worked like a charm. He and his staff are also super friendly and accomadating. read more

Dr Desi and the staff at Carlsbad Chiropractic are caring and knowledgeable. I had severe Sciatic nerve pain for months, but was too scared to get help. After a referral from a friend who had success with Dr. Desi, I dragged myself to see him. Two weeks later I am 100% better and still improving. Same day appointments are usually available, not expensive. If you're on Medicare it will usually cost you $10.00 for the ultrasound, which I recommend. Located in the heart of Carlsbad Village there is plenty of parking and your visit will be happy from start to finish.Dr. Desi actually cares about his patients and knows what he's doing. If you're in pain, get yourself in to Carlsbad Chiropractic right now, you'll thank me later. read more

My neighbor referred me to Dr. Desi when I moved to Carlsbad. I loved my Carmel Valley chiropractor so I struggled to be willing to try someone new but, it was getting to be too far to drive so I switched to Dr. Desi 6+ months ago and he is wonderful too. I don't know why everyone doesn't use chiropractic to resolve headaches, body pain, etc. I dislike taking pills and find with all the sports I do I need to be put back in alignment sometimes and Dr. Desi does it every time. Thanks! read more

Dr. Gamboa is the most amazing chiropractor I have ever seen. I came in with horrible pain in my knee and hip. He used every technique even though my insurance didn't cover it! He is committed to doing the best he can for the person, not just for the money. I LOVE his work. My hip and knee are fast on the way to recovery where I had no hope at all before. I strongly suggest seeing him for any chiropractic need. He isn't one of those in and out in 5 minutes guys. He takes as much time as needed and has a great personality as well. 2 thumbs up! read more

Dr. Desi is awesome. I've never done chiropractic in my life so I was skeptical but Dr. Desi was very kind and very detailed about what he does. I've never heard my bones crack the way it did but it sure does feel good. I do highly recommend this place and seeing Dr. Desi if you've never done it before. read more

Dr. Gamboa's a really good guy; he is friendly, funny and takes the time to listen to your situation. He's always willing to accomodate, and looking for ways to help using various techniques. He's the only chiro I've been to, but he's always been great to me. read more

Dr. Gamboa helped me with problems I was experiencing in my lower back and sciatic nerve. With weekly treatments over the past two months I feel ready and confident I'll finish the upcoming LA Marathon on Sunday, March 20, 2011 -- and, possibly with a PR! I've recommended Dr. Gamboa to my running team, they could benefit from his knowledge of sport injury treatment as well. Thanks Dr. Gamboa, you're awesome! ~Michelle read more

I have a history of low back issues in my family and have been to chiropractors coast to coast. Dr. Desi Gamboa is the BEST! Incredibly knowledgeable, yet still on an everyday person's level when explaining what is going on and how to fix it. He has a great network of colleagues if other treatment is needed as well. First class all the way! If you need a chiropractor and want someone who is friendly, down to earth, honest, and excels in their craft, Dr. Desi Gamboa is your man! read more

Look no further! This doctor is pure MAGIC! I cannot recommend Dr. Desi enough! I have been to MANY chiropractors over the years, some okay, some horrible, some did the trick for a little while but cost me thousands of dollars and the issues came back. When I first went to see Dr. Desi a few years ago after spending thousands of dollars seeing a chiropractor 3 times a week for months to address my low back pain, that not only came back but even worse, I immediately felt relief. The issue was pretty severe so I went to see Dr. Desi about 9 times even though I was already seeing a tremendous difference right away. However I did not have to go in 3 times a week for 4 months straight! What a difference! He took away my pain and adjusted me correctly just like that. After that I went in for maintenance when I felt like my body needed it, and every time I walked out I felt amazing! Something else I have to share which I believe is truly remarkable is I had a shoulder blade issue, major pain I lived with for over 13 years from bartending for 10 years that by the way not one single chiropractor could ever resolve for me. I just learned to live with the pain even though it literally hurt every single day. I told Dr. Desi, he adjusted me specifically for that and just like MAGIC it was GONE! The pain has not returned and it's been about a year! Enough said! Hands down THE BEST & not to mention honest chiropractor you will ever have the pleasure of seeing! Trust me your body won't regret it! read more

I couldnt possibly say enough nice things about Dr Desi. He is not only an incredible chiropractor but i like to think he has become a friend over the years of our visits. He is always professional, accommodating and you can tell he has great passion for his work. More then that, he is the most incredibly friendly individual i have met. He truly cares to get to know his patients on a personal level. He can tell what's bothering you just by looking at your back and adjustments are quick and effective. He also has adjusted me when i was pregnant, which was much needed. As for the office, his staff is wonderful, friendly and are always willing to help fit you in with any last minute appointments. I highly recommend Carlsbad Chiropractic to anyone. read more

I've been a patient of Dr Gamboa for almost 6 years now. I'm a military dependent, and it took me years to become desperate enough to seek chiropractic care simply because it wasn't and isn't covered by my insurance. About 12 years ago, I became desperate enough to pay out my pocket completely, and now, finding good chiropractic care is as important as, or probably more important than, finding a good hairstylist or dentist when we PCS. Desi Gamboa is an amazing practitioner who listens to me about my needs, but even better: he can tell upon exam what areas need attention. I see him every three weeks religiously: in spite of an embarrassing number of running and horseback riding injuries (because I'm really testing Des, not just sitting on the couch!), I am living a pain free life that would not have been possible without a great chiropractor! read more

Love Dr. Desi! He has helped me so much and he treats you like a friend instead of a patient. Everyone there is so friendly! Leah and Sophia are very sweet ladies and are always so helpful! Dr. Gamboa is a great doc. His desire to get you back to where you belong is apparent in his personalized care. His friendly personality is a joy as well, better to be adjusted by a happy guy than an unhappy one! Give Dr. Gamoboa a try, you won't be disappointed! read more

Found Dr. Desi Gamboa through an Amazon promotion and what a great find! Been going for three weeks now and can't believe the progress that's been made on an older body suffering from years of neglected stiffness, tightness, and numbness. Dr. D is a real personable guy truly interested in patient care and welfare - he listens and has many techniques that yield life-changing results.
